They said they would come back and pick them up after 3 days, but they never did. I had to follow up myself and ended up calling them three separate times to ask them to pick up their machines. Every time I called, the customer service rep just said, "I have your concern in our system, and someone will reach out to you." So basically, you end up waiting at least 1-2 days just to get a response back. Because they failed to come back on time and never explained whether I should turn the machines off, I let them run continuously for 6 straight days. This resulted in an additional $350+ electricity bill. The communication and customer service were extremely poor. It feels like all they care about is finding every possible way to charge you. For the payment method, you can pay by credit card but there will be 3.5% processing fee. The other way is to mail a check to them, but they didn't provide the mailing address. It's 2026, I didn't know people still use mail for payment. Be prepared for all these troubles if you want to use their service.

I paid that balance in full with two separate checks within two weeks. I have the receipts, the copies of the checks, and the bank statements showing exactly when First Call cashed them. After a full year of zero communication, I woke up today to a voicemail and email threatening to send me to collections within 48 hours. They claimed they had been "trying to reach me" for 12 months, which is untrue. I checked my call logs and my email history; there was absolutely nothing. When I called and provided my proof of payment and the exact dates they cashed my checks, they admitted the "error" was simply because someone forgot to check a box in their system. It is incredibly stressful and offensive to have your credit threatened because a company can't be bothered to check their own bank deposits before sending out threats. As a veteran, I live by a standard of integrity and doing your due diligence. Relying on a "checked box" as the Bible instead of doing actual research is lazy and unprofessional.
