We found Parker-Young through our insurance company. Over the months of restoration, they made what was a very traumatic event bearable. They walked us through all the services we needed to bring our lives back into focus - one stop shopping. We took the opportunity to do some updates and upgrades; they listened and made our ideas happen. We are so pleased with our forty-year-old "new" house. Their workmanship was very good, great customer communication, and everyone we dealt with was cheerful and friendly, with special appreciation to Joe the supervisor. (I recently recommended them to a neighbor who experienced a flooded home. She is also delighted with their work, but that's her story to tell.) You don't ever want to have the need for a company like Parker-Young, but if bad things happen to your home, they are the ones to call.

A few days later 6/15, they told our claims adjuster they could not do the job for less than $25K. The explanation they gave was the scope of the project was correct but their pricing was wrong. Needless to say we did not deal with this unethical company.

The project manager Mike and the decking crew led by Lupe that rebuilt and extended our deck did a great job. They need to improve the communication between the sales side and the project manager. I would suggest a meeting with the construction manager, project manager and the home owner to make sure all are the same page right up front. The project was done in a week, including the Saturday before Memorial Day to make our deck usable. I would recommend them for a new or rebuilt deck.

From the first contact, their follow-up was consistent, and you really get the impression they care about their work and their client. My fiancee and I are completely satisfied with our experience, and very happy with the new floor. Looks great! ALGO were easy to work with, on time, and delivered the service at the agreed price... no upselling, no BS. Also - they cleaned up after themselves, leaving no mess, scraps, etc. I wholeheartedly recommend ALGO Flooring. One year guarantee on their work, which is great. I will definitely call them again for some deck repair I need - they do that too. Thanks guys!

After all we had been through twice and suffered as a result of working with a contracting company found and promoted via paid advertising on every single page of the yellow pages, Full Circle Restoration was a breath of fresh air. Although our job was small in scale, never once did we feel like we were a small or insignificant job. Management came out to our location multiple times to meet with us for peace of mind and to establish a trust that was delivered on every step of the way. Full Circle Restoration treated us as I believe they would treat their own family. They were fair in what they would and would not do, but they worked at all costs to keep us safe in our home (mold, air quality, respect for our personal belongings, etc). They exercised patience in our indecisiveness. they moved quickly, yet effectively, and as respondent as the first time we called when the order was given to complete... There was never a time a text was sent or a message was left that I did not have a response within a few hours. They hired the best in their trade from project management to decking, painting, cleaning, sheet rock, cabinetry, etc. If there was ever a mistake, they fixed it and did not pass on the costs for their errors. They are accountable. Finally, I will comment on Full Circle's back office... timely, friendly, considerate, respondent, organized and happy to help work with the insurance company, attorneys, and the mortgage company. They provided multiple estimates for the "needs," "wants," and "wishes" leaving us to make the final decision respecting the insurance company and our personal budgets. Job well done!

They identified the hail damage, and contacted and coordinated with my insurance company. I was able to watch the installation from start to finish. The quality of the workmanship and materials was first class. When Hurricane Helene swept through recently with high winds and 12" of rain, we got one small leak....and I'm planning on contacting Caroline to address that. I'm waiting to see if it still leaks under normal conditions, but it has not rained a drop in several weeks since the hurricane. I recently contacted Caroline again to put gutters on our house. She arranged to do the work when I could be home on the weekend, and they completed the work in the same quality manner as the roof. She is always there on the job, and oversees the work personally. And I might add that she has really nice people working for her. Hard working and courteous.

She came to my house with someone who inspected the roof, found hail damage and my husband discussed the repairs we were interested in. When they figured out we did not want an entirely new roof or couldn't interest us in working with an insurance company, they left promising an estimate for the repair and then we never heard from them again. (It's been over a month.) I don't think this is a very professional model for doing business this way, but there seems to be a trend of business owners not having the courage to have an open, honest conversation about what they cannot/do not wish to provide. It wastes the customer's time and the business's integrity and breeds distrust and frustration with the entire industry.
