The Locker Room was really great and had everything I needed. The robe was so soft but quite huge on me. The Sky Room was warm, inviting, and calming. The couples message itself was some of the best 80 minutes I have ever had. It was nice to know that my boyfriend was in the same room, that we were enjoying this together. It really is that good. I went in this afternoon for a facial (much needed) and brow shaping (ditto). After being burned once on eyebrow waxing (who doesn't have one of these stories), I am a little cautious about who touches the hair on my orbital bone. Within a few minutes of meeting my aesthetician, Heidi, all of my worries dissipated. She is professional, highly competent, efficient, and a delight! Very knowledgeable as well. Before starting the brows, she asked what I had in mind and even showed me what she was thinking before she got started. Well, I am totally satisfied. She did great work. Then I followed that up with a facial which was similarly superb. I couldn't believe how good my skin looked after! I'd never had a chemical peel before and I am floored by the results. I am afraid, however, that I may need to add facials to the list of monthly maintenance now -- since I was so pleased with my skin. Heidi gave me lots of tips on my home skincare routine as well. Finally, the actual spa itself is beautiful -- spare, clean, but with beautiful colors (on the walls), accessories, and so on. They also had water, tea, and dried fruit + mixed nuts. On arrival met with a smile by receptionist ( Heidi i think)...she explained the process, provided the short form for completion and then escorted us to the incredibly clean changing rooms The entire interior is modern, sleek but tranquil and the waiting room is perfect Our therapists were Karen ( facial) and Rachel ( massage).....my wife really enjoyed her facial and my massage was exactly as requested we didn't really have time to relax in the outside space but it was also very well designed and will be experienced on our next visit....in fact today i spoke to the owner, Natalie, and booked a spa party for my wife's birthday next month......Float really is a gem and one not to be missed.....an easy 5 star review read more

A little spa that blows the competition away.. it's a small little spa on a side street off State. It's right across the street from a parking lot and a valet parking lot is right next store so parking is never a issue. The spa itself is a little small however I have never received a bad massage or facial here. Yes it's a little pricey but what spa isn't. All of their technicians are wonderful. Had one of the absolute best massages by Tawnya yesterday! Slept like a baby last night because she worked out all the many kinks in my shoulders and back and my hips. Too much time at a computer = pain. Tawnya was incredible at working through all the stiff muscles; she has an amazing technique that is soothing and healing. As my first time pregnant I was in much need of a relaxing massage. I live in Ventura and booked treatments with my girlfriends visiting from out of town. I had heard great things about Float and it was one of the only spas that could accommodate three treatments at the same time. One of my friends driving up from LA was running a little late and needed to quickly breastfeed before our appointments. We were running about 10 mins late and called to let them know. When we arrived we changed quickly but spent about five minutes shuffling our items to find lockers with doors that locked properly. My prenatal massage was alright but the whole experience felt rushed and the pressure was a little weak (after I had instructed the masseuse that I liked a firm touch). I was the first one to finish and noticed that my massage had ended right on time even though we had arrived a few minutes late. Then I reviewed their spa guidelines (since I had not been the one who booked the reservation) and saw that arriving late will simply limit the time for your treatment, so the next guest will not be delayed. I then saw my masseuse walk out of the spa in street clothes, so that led me to believe I was her last appointment of the day. I then waited 10-15 minutes for my other friends to finish up their treatments. I understand that their spa policies are in place to give all of their clients that best treatment experience, but I feel that I did not receive the same treatment as my friends. I'm glad my friends didn't experience the rushed treatment that I experienced (they both loved their treatments), but I think their spa policies should be universal and upfront. Not once during my interaction with the reception or masseuse did they mention that my 50 minute treatment time would be cut short. read more

This place is a piece of heaven in the middle of the city. When I walked in I was greeted warmly by the receptionist. I filled out a sheet with preferences such as scents, how talkative you want to be and areas of pain. All the scents are amazing by the way. They started me off with snacks, spa water and tea while I relaxed in a comfortable room with a fire place and beautiful Chandelier. My massage therapist was so incredibly nice and very knowledgeable. I got a body scrub, deep tissue massage and foot treatment. All were great! They told me I could hangout as long as I wanted in the garden or the relaxing snack area. The prices of all the treatments were very reasonable and much cheap than my terrible massage I had at the DoubleTree down the street. Overall, I had a great day here and would recommend this place to anyone. read more

I took a friend here for her birthday and she said it was one of the best deep tissue massages she's ever had. Her skin glowed with health as she sipped away her tea by the fireplace afterwards. I opted for the Paradise Papaya scrub with Maria. She was great, but I wish the scrub itself was a little more intense. I once had a papaya scrub done in Costa Rica and my skin was glowing for days onwards. I didn't see or feel much of a difference with Float scrub, but Maria made up for it by spending more time on my neck during the massage portion. My wife and I booked a couples massage for our honeymoon! Everything was perfection as soon as we walked in. All staff were inviting and friendly. The woman at the front checked us in and took us to the lockers. She then guided us upstairs to wait for our therapists. It was warm, aesthetically pleasing and they had tea and snacks. In no time both therapists came out, Jessica and Stacy. They were very sweet and took us to the room. The massages were INCREDIBLE! We both got the signature float massage. My wife added CBD oil to hers and I added a foot scrub. Both AMAZING! After the session, they congratulated us on our marriage and we had a little chat! They let us know we could hang out upstairs. So we went up and drank some water and tea, had some snacks by the fire place. It was sooooo good!! When we checked out the woman at the front desk asked us what we were doing the rest of the day and we told her we wanted Mexican food. She told us Santo Mezcal was amazing so we went and it was EVERYTHING!!! I cannot remember her name but thank you for that recommendation!! i had my first ever facial yesterday, with tatiana. she was a pleasure, helped talk me through what would be best for my skin and what i should do to take care of it in the future. one of those suggestions was using an enzyme peel, and tatiana even gave me one during the facial, even though it didnt come with the package, because she wanted to treat me for my first facial! it was so nice and appreciated. the whole experience was great and i left with my skin glowing and soft. read more

We booked the cbd massage which was so nice. The overall safety they took here really calmed my nerves as well. This is not a luxury spa environment like the website photos shows. But clean and comfortable but not sure it's worth the $$$ for just an okay experience. My teen daughter had a good experience but it was her first time getting a signature massage so she had no comparison. However, I have had hundreds of massages at a variety of spas in my lifetime so I know exactly how and what my body needs for muscle work. I asked for a hot stone as I was told it was a deeper massage, but the stones burning hot so it took time for my therapist to cool them down which definitely effected my zen moments. I asked her multiple times to work deeper on my lower back and neck and her trigger system was too soft to release tension. She was very nice but didn't understand the customer needs which is so disappointing given I paid $180 plus tip for just an okay experience during a special girls weekend with my daughter where Float was supposed to be a highlight for the both of us. read more

This hidden gem right off of State Street in downtown Santa Barbara really does make your problems "Float" away. The owner was so sweet and welcoming and really knowledgeable about what would help me without trying to push me to purchase anything extra.
