Flippin Burger makes an OK burger. It tasted fine. My dinner was a bacon cheese burger with mushroom, egg with extra lettuce, tomato & onions $16.50 with garlic fries $5. Minor nits: Avoid adding bacon $3. At first I couldn't see it. After looking into the burger, was a folded 1/2 slice of bacon. Add an extra patty for $2.50 instead. The patty is small compared to the size of the bun. I pushed it out to take the photo. Cheese $.75, egg $2 and mushrooms $1 add-ons are fine. Garlic fries has no garlic taste. The extra lettuce, onions and tomatoes are $.50 each. Service is fine for an order at the counter restaurant.

This restaurant is right on Haight St. it's pretty casual dining. You order at the counter, they give you a number and you wait for your food. The wait wasn't too long. We each ordered a Beyond Burger and a side of fries. The burger was delicious and love that the bread is just the right size. I could have had less pickles on mine though, they were huge slices. The fries were thin cut which is how I like them. Overall experience was great.

I decided to head into the city to feel a little nostalgic, and even though I don't live far from Haight Street, I somehow had never noticed Flippin Burger before. I'm so glad I did this time. The prices were surprisingly good, and the burgers were delicious--one of those meals you keep thinking about for days afterward. It was a cold night, but that didn't stop me from ordering a strawberry milkshake. After one sip, I instantly regretted not getting two... so I went back and bought the Oreo milkshake too, and it was just as amazing. The service was really nice. Even though they get busy, the staff was helpful, fast, and friendly. Flip n Burger is definitely getting added to my San Francisco food list. I'll be back the next time I'm in the area!

While shopping along Haight Street, we came across Flippin Burger and decided to stop in. We grabbed a couple of hot dogs and tater tots, and the food was delicious -- it had that classic, old-school hot dog taste that really hit the spot. The place was open and comfortable, not crowded at all, and the prices were reasonable (especially for San Francisco). The vibe was relaxed, the service was quick, and everything tasted fresh. I'll definitely be back the next time I'm in the

The food was really good. They have different combinations. The burgers were juicy and the buns were soft. It was quite busy but the crew was friendly and polite. The place was very nostalgic . Cute and has unique counter . There is outside sitting so you can take your furry buddies with you. A lot of regulars were talking about how good their burgers are so I think that they are consistently serving up delicious burgers. . I recommend coming here for some groovy vibes.

When our only meal was coffee and its 1pm, you know we were famished. We were in the area and my friend wanted to try this place so here we are. I got the Flippin burger no onions. Although the presentation was clean and simple, it reflected the on the taste as well. The meat patty was a tad dry and so was so was the burger itself. The fries were my favorite standard cut cooked to perfection. Service was great, food was mediocre.

Great burgers! Not too crowded on Sunday 5pm! Great breeze! Didn't care for the loaded tots. I enjoyed the cider on draft and the music they play. Very chill atmosphere. Service is friendly. Thank you! Yeehaw 5 stars ya'll!

Solid place for a quick burger and fries. The burger was good but the fries were nothing special. The restaurant was spacious and good for groups. We got our food quickly and had no complaints.

Came across this spot while my wife was getting a tattoo nearby, so we figured we'd give this new place a try. The vibe was super chill and the staff were really friendly. We ordered the Flippin Burger with everything and a chocolate shake. The shake was really good and came out fast. The burger was cooked medium just how we asked super juicy, and all the ingredients tasted fresh and nicely put together. Solid first impression and definitely a spot we'd come back to.

This is a bright, rather anachronistic space on Haight Street, and we ducked in mainly to see if they had a bathroom. But the menu was inviting, and we were craving grilled cheese. We both ordered that, with fries. The sandwiches were meh, and fries were fine, but like fast food fries, nothing special. The space was bright and clean, and the service friendly. I'd consider going back and trying the beyond burger.

Please make a stop at Flippin Burger!! Their chocolate milkshake was devine!!! Service was fast, fresh, and friendly. The restaurant was clean and had a lot of seats. I wish we were more hungry to try more items but we will be back!

The skater theme of this place caught my eye. I love all the decor, including the VW bus front in the counter. Nice vibes. A few TVs. Nothing fancy, but well kept. My husband and I just came in here for a quick bite and to use the bathroom. Service was good. The ladies working were very nice and accommodating. Food came out quickly. I had garlic fries and my husband had a grilled cheese. Both were pretty simple. The grilled cheese is just American cheese, but it's well done for what it is. Fries were cooked perfectly and pretty garlicky. I think they use the bottled minced garlic, not fresh, but I didn't mind. It's pretty straightforward fast food, but it's done well and priced right, so can't complain!

We visited Flippin Burger for a quick lunch while hanging out in the area. The food was pretty good, and the prices are fair in comparison to other spots nearby. I will say that the fried chicken sandwich was alright, a bit oily and I did not like the coleslaw, but the chili cheese fries were good, and portions were good too. Customer service was quite friendly and efficient. Worth visiting if you're nearby & looking for a good-value sandwich or burger.

Burger with added cheese and a comically tiny burger patty.

The restaurant was quaint and cute, more compact, but had a secondary overflow area in a separate part of the restaurant. There were restrooms on both side, and Causewells served as a chill morning for us with our friends. The location had a cute bar set up for evening link ups, and the service was very friendly. The woman at the counter was really friendly. I used to work retail and dealing with customers, even at the start of the shift, can wear you down pretty quick. So I gotta give props to her for being positive during this very busy day. I got the crispy hot honey chicken tacos, which is one of this month's specials. It came with delicious sweet corn, cabbage slaw, chipotle mayo, and a cilantro-lime crema. It's basically the flavors of elote with fried chicken and it yummy! The breading on the chicken was even and crisp. And I enjoyed the spicy-sweet flavor of the honey, which complemented the chipotle mayo. I also enjoyed the crunch from the cabbage and the softness of the flour tortilla. I paired with it the fried Brussels sprouts to get another veggie into my meal. Though I do love very charred sprouts, there was a hint of bitterness. I may have needed more lime to cut that. The jalapeño mayo was good. But I think tossing it in pork fat is the way to go with Brussels sprouts to really pump up the flavor. I'm not sure what oil they fry it in. I think I'll stick to their sweet potato fries, which never disappoints. It's always busy there, but it's never too difficult to find a place to sit. It's shared seating, with long tables inside and large tables outside. But my friend and I took it to go so we can have dinner with the show. And the timing was perfect - we didn't wait too long to get our order and we arrived about 20mins before the band started. The quality of Gott's has been consistent over the years across their locations. So it's a tried and true place to get a delicious meal.
