This was the first time I made my way into Flip Side even though it's been around for a while and I was blown away! The Shawns burger was cooked to perfection and with egg on top and spicy pickles. A perfect brunch burger. We got the truffle fries as well which were very good. If you get fries, they're definitely a shareable, you get a ton. The restaurant itself has a cool southern rustic feel to it, a nice escape from the business of Easton. If you're in the area and want a burger and a beer, this is a must try. read more

I went here for my cousins rehearsal dinner with a group of 8. The atmosphere is great and so is the staff. The food is good but nothing too special. I had the curry lamb burger, which was good. I can never find a lamb burger with mind sauce; this has mint slaw so close enough. The curry sauce smelled very bad and I wouldn't recommend that. I also had fries with gravy which were really good! Overall I'll come back, but won't get the lamb. Everyone else seemed to have enjoyed their burger though. read more

I enjoy their burgers. Im not a fan of the fact that I have to pay extra for my fries but At least they have different sizes which used to not be a thing. Nostalgia Wins I came here on the recommendation of a friend, and honestly it was one of the best decisions that I've made this week! I had the 'Green Eggs and Ham Burger' (add bacon). And I honestly couldn't have been happier with my choice. The name drew me in and I'm so glad that I stayed for the flavors! From the juicy grass fed beef patty to the almost smoky basil mayo that comes on this burger, every bite was enjoyable from the first to the last. I think the icing on the cake that is flip side is the fact that even if you come with a non meat lover they can still get a great meal also as they offer the impossible burger here as well as other vegetarian friendly options. Honestly the only thing that kept this from being a true 5 star experience is the simple fact that fries don't come with the burger and will run another $4 or more (depending on how fancy you want to get). What a great menu. My wife and I were wanting a good burger and Flipside delivered. Yes, the service was slow but the entire world is short staffed. Our server apologized for the long wait but still provided great service and offered repeatedly to refill my water. We started off with the Kobe Beef Corndogs and they were very tasty. I could tell the dog was all beef. Next our burgers came and mine was cooked nicely. For desert I ordered the apple pie milk shake and it really hit the spot. Overall a great time at Flipside. Unfortunately, this place has gone downhill. We ordered a few of their signature burgers. The meat was not seasoned properly and the toppings, specifically pickled onions were not fresh. Our waitress was friendly, however, it took nearly 40 minutes to get our food. Further, the restaurant is in need of some TLC. Lights around the bar appear to be falling out and the door into the family bathroom is ajar and needs adjusted. Beyond the wait for our food, the worst part of the experience was the smell coming from the drink station by the bar. 2.5/5 Stars First of all, we tried to call and put ourselves on the waitlist since we were going with a group of 8 on a Saturday night BUT, they told us we had to use the Yelp app to reserve our place on the waitlist. When we got to the app, it said we had to call in for a party of 6 or more. Needless to say, we were frustrated from the start. When we called back, we were told that it would be a 1.5 to 2 our wait. Now, if this was not for my friend's birthday, I would have moved on because Flip Side is not worth that kind of wait but that's where he wanted to go so we waited it out. Sure enough, it took close to 2 hours to get our table. They don't really have a space for waiting so we ended up standing out in the cold. The entrance was already packed with others waiting for a table. Easton is a place that I already deem super overcrowded and Flip Side is no exception. Parking can be difficult to find and certainly, you will have to wait for a table. I think it would behoove them to consider using a reservation service like Open Table or something to that effect but the likelihood of me actually coming back is so slim that they can do what they want. When we were finally seated, we were greeted by an excellent server - she is the reason that this review got to round up to three stars instead of rounding down to two! She was great. We all placed drink orders and I ordered their dark and stormy. It was very good. Many in my group ordered the boozy milkshakes and they really enjoyed them. I ordered the ahi tuna sandwich and was rather disappointed that it didn't already come with a side. I had to order an enormous side of fries that I couldn't finish and I would have shared them with my friends except they also ordered sides because we had no idea how big they would be. My sandwich was just okay. For the price I paid, I would have expected it to be a little bigger and definitely come with a side but, alas, it did not. The interior of this place is pretty cool, regardless of the mediocre food and poor reservations practice and I might come back if it wasn't busy to just get a drink but overall, Flip Side just didn't do it for me. read more

The ambiance is laid back. The craft beer selection is by far the best we've found in town!!! The burgers are perfectly cooked with fabulous flavor. The sweet potato fries and French fries are good, not great. The shake of the month-chocolate chocolate chocolate- might not have been worth $7. but it was delicious. They have an awesome beer selection and I have not been disappointed with any of the beers I have tried. They also have a nice cocktail list too, but I have yet to dabble on those. I admit anytime I come here I have to have a burger , because honestly they have some, if not the best burgers I have had. On this occasion I ordered the brunch burger. This came with American cheese, bacon, Yukon gold hash browns, a sunny side up egg (cage free), and bourbon maple syrup. All I can say is WOW! A masterpiece of a burger which was hot, juicy, and fresh. The bourbon maple syrup was delicious and a nice touch on this burger. I also ordered a side of hand cut fries. The fries were amazing as well. Crispy, fresh, and hot. I highly recommend if you are in the neighborhood and need a bite to eat or a cold beer to stop in and enjoy. read more

I heard about Flip Side through my sister and brother-in-law who only eat grass fed meats when it comes to burgers or steaks. Therefore I trusted their opinions on their experiences here. My husband and I had tried this place maybe 2 times so far and both have been positive experiences. Not sure my husband can say positive on the last as he was freaking out he thought he lost a tooth on the burger there! Although that's him worrying about that hard scallion or what not in his burger. I have tried the chicken philly sandwich and one of the fan favorite burgers can't remember it's name and booth were as good as advertised. When people say grass fed meat is expensive I believe them now, because it comes from a different source than the normal meat product we are used to consuming. I also highly recommend ordering a side of sweet potato fries which comes with the horseradish sauce, very good side to your burger or sandwich. I'm hoping to be able to try their brunch menu soon as it looks fabulous. I can't turn down a good mimosa with french toast and all the fixings. I will definitely be back soon to try more options off the menu. As you can tell I'm very curious to see what else is rated good on this menu. read more

This is one of my favorite burger joints in town. The service, food, and atmosphere has been great every time. Our waiter was very nice, funny, and accommodating! The burgers aren't too greasy, tastes like real beef, and the fries are delicious! We got the Philly burger, the Say Cheese, truffle fries, sweet potato fries, and the mushroom gravy fries and they were all pretty good! I recommend their sweet potato fries and the truffle fries, they're my favorites. The prices for these items were a bit high, especially paying $11-$14 for just the burger and $5-$10 for sides. They have a special brunch menu, but it's a certain time of the week. I like this spot for a casual dinner and recommend bringing friends, family, a casual date, and groups here! It's usually not packed or crowded and I recommend sitting out on the patio, if it's a nice day or night. read more

Here's the thing. The food was decent and our waiter was really nice but man, the hostesses tonight were extremely rude. We checked in through Yelp for a party of 8 an hour before we arrived. We came to the restaurant at the time the online waitlist told us to arrive. The first thing the hostess says to her co-worker is "oh that's that Sarah person". Then looks at me and says "just so you know, we don't accept online check-ins so for future reference, you need to check-in in person" I don't understand why it it my mistake when the option to get put on the waitlist exists online? When we finally got seated, I waited 45 min to get my drink even after asking multiple times and being told "the bar is backed up". Not even sure what to call it. Serve a pint for f's sake. I will never return 'cause of your lame bar. Have not even tasted the burger yet. Came for a late evening dinner. Got seated right away. Super nice server. Got the forester burger and son got a specialty burger. Both cooked to our liking. Got a side of fries to share, too many, had to leave some on the plate, not a bad thing at all. Only bad thing to report, they were out of A-1 sauce, however, server was quick on her feet and said they have their own homemade sauce and offered it up. I've been here several times, but this was easily the best time I've been there. It may have been owing to the fact that it was Christmas Eve and that it wasn't very busy, but it was still really good experience. It started off kind of slow and that we sat at the bar and took probably 7 to 10 minutes before we were actually waited on. But wants the partner came around, she was incredibly kind. She offered a couple of good suggestions, even cross sold me on an eggnog milkshake that I had no intention of buying! The burgers all are very unique. And I mean that in the best way possible! I wish that I could've even every single one of them, but the one I settled on was well worth it. I thought it would be a little bit more spicy because it mentioned having habanero in it, but it really wasn't. I could've used a little bit of extra space. If you're going with friends or on a date, I didn't courage you to only get one side of french fries and split it. That's what we did and we still didn't finish them all. The beers they have on tap are all really good. I'm a big fan of drinking local and they've got some really good stuff there. It's really surprising given that they have competition in world of beer right around the corner. The burgers are served at default "house-temperature" of medium, I opted for the "Simplicity" medium well but it still had quite a bit of pink to it. Every delicious though. Sides aren't included, they must be ordered separately and are an additional ~6 bucks. Shareable sized. I chose the onion rings. They were MASSIVE, but just ok. Took some friends here who have never been. We have been to flip side over 50 times . Food is excellent , have never had anything bad. Service is getting worse all the time This is our 2nd bad experience in a row and super disappointed because this place is one of our favorites All the food came out at weird random times. My buddy didn't even get his burger until we had pretty much finished ours. We all got fries and they all came out about 10 min apart . Ordered a salad to start and didn't even get it.
