Oh my, oh my! FINALLY, a nail salon worth praising along the Wasatch Front. This place has it all. Cleanliness. Friendliness. Not to mention, they do a wonderful job! I've come for multiple pedicures and always leave a very satisfied customer. I have walked in, but always recommend making an appointment. Otherwise, don't complain about having to wait if you didn't take the time to call ahead. read more

I wouldn't say walk ins are welcome like the door does. Granted there were 5 of us but we needed 3 pedis, 2 manis, they didn't seem slammed at all and didn't remotely entertain the idea of trying to help us or even fitting us in. Pretty sure a person would've been done in a few minutes etc, we weren't in a rush and were willing to wait. They didn't even ask just pretty much said no. They asked if we had an appointment but we are in town on business so it's not like we knew ahead of time of a place to go, we just yelped and thought we'd try it. We had to take our business elsewhere. read more

This review is a bit over due. I am new to Utah and was looking for a new dedicated place to do my nails. I found it in Flip Flop Nails & Spa. I've visited 4 times since November and all I can say is great things about this place. A friendly staff. A beautiful and clean shop. And great work overall. My go to is Jade. She's great at asking me if I'm good with the shape and length of the nail, she knows I like my nails short. She's upfront about the cost and is very precise. Looks like I found my dedicated go to shop. Thanks for everything and keep up the good work. read more

I have really tried to like this salon, but after going here for 3 pedicures this summer, I won't be back. At my most recent appointment, I was constantly upsold -- first for an organic pedicure and then for a gel pedicure -- even after I made it clear that all I wanted was a classic pedicure. Mid-pedicure, the tech complained about my choice of polish, saying the brand was no longer "any good." On top of that, the whole pedicure felt rushed, and my polish job was poor. I can't speak for their other services, but for my money and time, I'll go elsewhere for my pedicures going forward. read more

Lovely, clean nail salon!!! They do a great job, and I have had three different people do my manicure and pedicure...all good:) Read all the Not Recommended ones...the Yelp algorithms are hiding GREAT reviews from this cute place! read more

Pros - very clean & the actual pedicure looks great Cons - my favorite parts are the massage - and the massage chair wasn't great & I upgraded to the deluxe pedicure to get the hot stone massage and it was meh. Save your money and get the basic pedicure read more

This place had pretty good ratings, but it just didn't quite hit the mark. I wanted a couple different colors, and the actual gel polish swatches didn't match the actual colors at all. They filed my nails down super short without asking and the shape was pretty inconsistent. The whole manicure took about 15-20 minutes and it felt really rushed, like they were more concerned with getting customers in and out than giving a good quality experience. When I get my nails done, I want to feel pampered and relaxed, but I didn't get that from here. read more

Saturdays are busy so I would recommend calling in so you are guaranteed a spot. I enjoyed my foot and leg massage.

I've been going here for a very long time and have decided I will never go back. The last time I was there I had to tell my nail girl to change her gloves. She went from someone's pedicure, directly to my hands without changing her gloves. As I sat there I watched, every single tech did the exact same thing. Dirty ass feet directly to a new persons hands WITHOUT changing gloves. Disgusting!!!! Next time you are there, pay attention. You'll see exactly what I am talking about! read more

This place is super clean and they do an amazing job! They really take there time and I've never been disappointed. Super consistent. I have been here 4 times so far and they have my business for sure. read more

I've been treated well here every time I've come. I know they talk about people we all do and I'm okay with that. I know I have funny looking almost no toenail's on two of my toes. Yes they try to up sale to increase profits. Almost every business out there does that. I come here and I drive from Wyoming. read more

My wife and I went there as an early anniversary treat. The experience was amazing! Sarah and Jade were very friendly, great at what they do and super friendly. The place was extremely clean. They even offered us beverages and cookies! It was overall a great experience. I would highly recommend it to any one wanting a fun and relaxing experience. read more

So clean, professional, and patient. I've been here many times and have never been dissatisfied. I love that they use liners and new tools on every client. read more

Do not go hear .. I got a full set . 6 weeks ago and they told me I needed another set.so I chose to take them off and got just gel. She was so rude . It was so painful she didn't even file them to look nice . She burnt my fingers under the light. Will never recommend this place to anyone. And I talk to 20 people a day at my job. I will let everyone know this place is the worst !!! And they talk shit about you the whole time!!! read more

Great experience! Experienced staff. Highly recommend!! Pedicure was wonderful with extra touches like foot message! Service felt like a relaxing experience. Had enough staff so everyone was busy, but not overbooked and running around. Got me in right away. I found a new favorite nail salon!! read more

This is the best nail salon I have ever been to! Clean, organized, and they do their very best to never make you wait! Kyle the owner is the kindest person. Every tech has given me great results. They take appointments and honor that, unlike most nails salons. I love Kim and Queen! read more

Polite and took a walk in but: (1) why, when there is a row of at least 15 chairs open, do you need to sit the 4 pedicure clients on top of each other, side by side - not only is it less peaceful but seems ridiculous in light of COVID; (2) the prices have gone up but the nail polish offering has gone down with only CND + a super small, super old, not great colors OPI selection; (3) polish was dull, clumpy, looked my kid sister did my nails, and was chipping by day 2. read more

Took my 5 year old son here for his first pedicure. We both got the deluxe pedicure and were very pleased. The lady that did his was patient and kind. She answered all his questions (there were a lot) and she even took the time to trim down the temporary flip flops for him since they were too long and he couldn't wear his shoes out. The only drawback was that he didnt fit in the massage chair but they had a nice big pillow to put behind him so he could reach. Clean, Comfortable, Great Service! Perfect first experience for the kiddo! We'll go back for sure. read more

I am not impressed. I'm still in the salon leaving this review after my 10 minute pedicure. My sister and I are leaving with completely calloused heals that they didn't do. It is so bad. read more

First time coming to this salon and it did not disappoint. The salon is clean (they use disposable liners and gloves) in addition to having a good selection of nail polish colors. The staff was very patient with my kids (specially Kyle) and they also did a good job on our classic mani/pedi. One thing I wish they had asked us if we wanted any design on our nails as I was planning on getting them for both myself and my daughter. Despite this small flaw (hence the 4 star rating), I would still come back to this salon since my kids and I had a good first time experience. read more

This place used to have nice, professional staff but not since my last 2 visits this year. The lady who did mine was in such a rush that my nails were not even properly trimmed! The massage didn't feel like a massage at all, it was so light like she was just literally applying the lotion to my skin! I don't know how this place is still getting customers with the kind of service they provide! read more

Today was my first time here, my regular salon couldn't fit me in, and I'm not ever going back to the old place. Flip Flops is clean, pretty, peaceful and and overall relaxing experience. I'd recommend this place to anyone! A definite asset to the community. Come support their new business! read more

So happy this place had opened. The minute you walk in the door you can see the attention to detail and sanitation. The pedicure bowls are not only lined, but the water circulation devices are sterilized after each use. There are several equipment sterilizers visible allowing adequate time for the process to occur. Kyle, the owner and Kim, my nail technician are two of the best who are committed to doing their best for the customer. I will definitely be back. read more

Super bright, clean environment. Jenny, the owner is such a sweetheart and incredible at what she does. Great with designs and is very helpful with her opinions and expertise. Never had a bad experience here and have been coming here for several months now. read more

My friend and I came in for pedicures. Jenny and Kyle did them us. They're husband and wife and own the salon. We had the best time chatting with them both. They were so sweet and Kyle was making us laugh the whole time! We were seriously impressed with the massage and quality of the pedicure. The salon was by far one of the nicest we've been to in Utah. Highly recommend. read more

I have been a loyal customer for a while now. Clean and very cheap compared to other places. However i wont be coming back due to rude service i got from Jenny. Also please stop gossiping about your customers right in front of them- just because you assume they dont speak your language or doesnt understand you. Maybe we do understand and dont tell you. This pertains to all employees. read more

I loved this place! I tried it out for the first time today and it was amazing. Great service, they offered water and coke! Most places wouldn't do that. The place was clean, nothing dirty. Everyone was super nice, I got a pedicure and everything was the 10 out of 10 experience that I was hoping for. The chairs gave a nice massage and you could control the temperature of the water. What I liked the most is that you got to choose the scent! (many choices like tropical, orange, mint and cucumber) I chose tropical and it smelled great, better than expected. If you are trying to find a nail salon with great service and a nice place this is definitely for you! Found nothing that I didn't like about this place! (They even had christmas decor up.) 5 star review definitely! read more

I was really pleased with my first experience at this salon. It's clean, bright, and new. My second experience was disappointing to say the least. I came in right at opening before many people were there and said I would like a pedicure and dip on my nails. The woman started on my manicure first and tried hard to convince me to do a base layer of dip with shellac on top- I told her I would rather dip because that's what I like and she pushed and pushed and pushed, "it's so much better" so I went with her recommendation. Of course it was $5 more but oh well no biggie if it's so great. She sliced the skin on 3 of my nails during her filing and efiling. I went to wash my hands and got back- she told me I scrubbed too hard and made myself bleed...no you cut me when you filed me, but I wasn't going to make a big deal about it. Then she asked "Do you like it? It's so light and nice?" I said it looked nice, but I don't like how with shellac you get uneven color tone and brush strokes, which is why I really like the dip. She got very quiet and irritated and said she could take it off if I don't like it. I said it was okay and I was fine with trying it but would probably not do it again. She then told me because I was a walk in and not an appt my pedicure will be a wait now. And she stayed quiet and awkward the rest of my service. My manicure had air holes all over and was so uneven and looked really bad to be honest. And she had too much ego to be professional with any sort of criticism. I didn't just start griping either, I simply answered her questions honestly and she was so unprofessional. I'm including pictures of my manicure so you can see how much it lacks. I'm giving two stars because my first experience was great with other nail techs. The dip I got here before was fantastic and they fit me in for both services no problem and I was thrilled the first time. But just barely was not good at all. Very frustrating to spend money on a bad service and not feel comfortable with giving honest feedback and getting that response. She appeared to run the place too. read more
