I've been here 3 or 4 times now - I'm never able to get the same tech / person (even when requested) Today my tech was more interested in talking with her co-worker than actually doing my nails. She seemed quite put off when I wanted her to smooth the roughness on the end my nails and although I paid for a gel manicure I received NO manicure - she provided the most minimalistic manicure ever. The only time she actually acknowledged me was at the very end when she wanted to make she she received a tip. I came in to get my nails done to get engaged and they completely ruined my nails. I came in with naturally long nails and wanted to keep them long as I wanted to get dip. I told them multiple times to keep them long and had a picture up the entire time of the shape of the nails I wanted and he ruined it. I hated my nails and wanted to cry as there was no way to get my long nails back because they were all filed off. I called to see if I could get a refund and get them taken off and they said no there were not exceptions. Don't go here if you have a special event and need your nails to look good. read more

I loved the service and quality of my mani/pedi. Decent price, too. However.. my pedicurist was pretty distracted and ended up stabbing into the edge of my big toe with her cuticle tool, which quickly became infected before the day was even over. She dug really deep into the side of my toenail and did something nasty to it. I can't even tell what's going on there because it's so swollen..It's incredibly painful. Place was also super gross, stuff was all over the floor and my nail tech kept dropping her instruments on the floor, would pick them up without wiping it and would continue on my feet. When I picked a color, the fill was already pricey but then a high up charge for a nail polish that looked like chrome (but is regular nail polish). I opted for no nail polish. I get a pedicure 3 times a year and always at different locations because I travel. All customers and employees were wearing masks and had you wash your hands before working on you. I appreciated this. My husband and I wanted pedicures. They had a nice selection of colors. We both got the deluxe (he got everything but polish). The water was warm/ hot which I like. They sat us both down at the same time And I was happy that they started on me first because I take longer. We finished at the same time. The pedicurist verified the color (a coworker told her which one), but it was the wrong number so I'm very happy she confirmed with me. Massage was good and both my husband and I were very satisfied. This is probably my 6th or 7th time coming here and it will be my last. Every single time I've gone in for a pedicure, the paint job is totally rushed and the whole toenail isn't even painted, just the middle. The foot and leg "massage" is just lotion being applied. There's no effort or even pressure applied. It doesn't matter if you pay for the $30 classic pedicure or the $60 deluxe, you'll get the same treatment and it's not worth the money. read more

I am obsessed with Flip Flop Nails. I have been here 5 times since they opened a couple months ago. First of all, its clean! They use gloves, sterile tools, and cover the pedicure bath with plastic. For the pedicures you can pick your scent. I love the mango and the lavender. They use really nice products. I have gotten a couple manicures now and they do an excellent job at gel. I haven't had any chipping, they did thinner layers as I requested, and have lasted at 3 weeks with no issue. I also feel like they take care to not damage your nails when removing polish and putting new polish on, such a plus. The employees are all so friendly and fun to talk to. As an extra bonus they offer water bottles, Diet Coke or Coke. Love it! read more

Same as other reviews. Place is dirty. Sitting with a used discarded painted nail beside my pedicure chair. They try to up sell you and publicly shame you in from to other customers becoming annoyed when you only want basic pedicure, not manicure or "organic pedicure" for twice the price. Not relaxing. They squish all their customers right next to each other even if other seating areas are wide open. Also just changed their nail polish line to a much cheaper product. read more

I have been here a handful of times. Queeny is amazing and very sweet. She'll never whisper or gossip about you in another language. And her attention to detail is spot on! She wasn't there today, which is disappointing because now I don't ever want to go back. Kim was assigned to do my toes and key was assigned for my nails. Kim started out by trying to upsell my pedicure, then tried to convince me of a different color. When I told her the water was too hot (it was scolding and I NEVER complain, but it truly felt like boiling hot water) she started to gossip in Vietnamese right away. Then we got to the paraffin wax. Again she didn't let it sit long enough and stuck my feet in when it was scolding hot. After that she told me I was just sensitive. She then cut my massage short and wouldn't use a hot towel on me, I'm guessing because I'm too "sensitive", yes I'm being sarcastic. I am truly surprised though, in the 18 years I've gotten my nails and feet done, I've never complained that my feet felt like they were being burned. Hopefully it'll never happen again. Then we go to my full set. I ask for an acrylic French. Extremely basic. I had no idea that asking for white acrylic tips would be such an ordeal. Apparently they only like to paint your color on, even though they have an entire wall of color acrylics. Takes nearly 2 hours to finish my full set, and while she (Kay) was shaping my nails, she cut my finger open with a file. Of course I flinch as blood comes out my finger, but as soon as I do they start gossiping in Vietnamese again. Thank you for horrible service and making me feel bad for being human. If you don't like something do you just take it? My nails are mediocre and my toes were cut so short... still had to pay $130 though. My comment still stands, queeny is great, but Kim, you need some serious work when it comes to customer service. Also don't have white and pink acrylic on your menu board and then bitch when someone wants it done. read more

Flip Flop Nails is a brand new, high-end nail salon. The space itself is beautiful. Very clean and bright with brand new and very comfortable chairs. Kim did my nails and toes here. She's the best!! I got the dipping powder with gel on top on my nails and I am OBSESSED with how it feels and looks! My nails looks absolutely perfect and very natural. I also love that they use more natural products on my nails rather than harsh chemicals. On my feet, I got the deluxe pedicure and it was truly magical. They allow you to choose a scent to accompany your pedicure making it a very relaxing experience. I chose lavender and it was great. One thing I loved about this place was that it appears that sanitization is a huge priority. They do all the sanitizing in front of the customer so you know they are using clean instruments on your nails and toes. read more

We called ahead and they were able to get us in for a party of 3 on a busy holiday. Kyle was so attentive right from the moment we walked in the door. I love that they have everyone wash their hands when entering to keep everything clean and safe. We did the organic pedicure and would definitely recommend - the scent options were fun and luxurious. Staff were super friendly and everyone was following proper covid safety protocols. Kenny did my pedicure, was very friendly, and even gave me use some lotion to use on my hands. Terrible! I received a $40 pedicure that should have only cost $30. They didn't dry my toenails and sent me to nail bar for a manicure which screwed up the paint and she had to get on her hands & knees to repair. Manicure was the strangest! Who paints your nails and then massages your hands? They wouldn't dry my nails until I asked 5 minutes later I'm pushed out the door and my nail paint sagging! So I walked back in and said just take this crap off and I'm never coming back! I guess not paying another $15 for gel paint didn't get me a better service. Oh and they're expanding the store. The spa next to the new Jackson's store is way better, you also will save money! read more

I have really tried to like this salon, but after going here for 3 pedicures this summer, I won't be back. At my most recent appointment, I was constantly upsold -- first for an organic pedicure and then for a gel pedicure -- even after I made it clear that all I wanted was a classic pedicure. Mid-pedicure, the tech complained about my choice of polish, saying the brand was no longer "any good." On top of that, the whole pedicure felt rushed, and my polish job was poor. Had the best experience today getting our nails done! I'm so excited to have found a great nail salon so close to my home. When we walked in there was a sign to wear a mask and they ask you to wash your hands before you look over the nail color options. They cover each pedicure basin with a plastic lining and throw it away once you're done. There are plastic shields in the manicure stations to provide added protection. This was a little difficult for me as I am hard of hearing but it worked out ok. I loved that Phillip made sure I was happy with the color I chose before he applied it, and he really took his time to make sure my fingernails and toes were painted to perfection. Hands down this was the best manicure and pedicure I've had. It felt good to get out and do something fun with my daughter too! We will most definitely be back. read more

I called ahead for two gel mani pedis and when I got there (they made me wait 15-20 min before we sat down) they kept asking if we really wanted gel. Then trying to entice us to just get regular polish. I later figured out it was bc they wanted to get outta there quicker. I barely even got the massage. Then they only put two coats on until I realized and had to tell them to add 3-4. Also my nails were all uneven. And then I asked her to cut my nail down more and make it even and she hardly did. This spa is beautiful and has a large selection of polish to choose from. It's also very sanitary with disposable tub liners, autoclaved tools, and sanitized water pumps/bubblers after each pedicure. I had a pedicure and manicure with Kim, who was very personable and thoughtful. She offered me a drink and a cookie, she made me laugh the entire time, and she even offered to take photos of my nails for me. She is very talented and pays attention to every detail. She noticed how brittle my nails are and clipped them to their shape instead of filing to prevent more splitting. These guys are excellent. Their cleanliness during the pandemic was awesome. I brought my entire bridal party (by appointment). Everyone received their pedicure at the same time, nobody waited for others to get done. They even painted my flower girls toes. We were in and out within an hour but it was still quality pedicure and service.
