Flight on Cherry is a neighborhood dispensary with a good range of products. The service can be hit or miss depending on who's working behind the counter. I've had occasions where the service was very helpful and speedy, but I've also had instances where I wasn't acknowledged until after a few minutes of awkwardly standing around waiting to be helped. They offer a rewards program; however, the last time I asked about redeeming my points, the budtender didn't seem very knowledgeable about it, so I just let it go. I do have points stacking up, though, so I'll ask about them next time- hopefully with a more patient budtender. In terms of price, I'd say they do tax a fair amount here, to be honest. My total of $39 on my last visit came out to $53 after taxes. I'm not sure if that's considered a moderate sales tax in general, but it was enough to make me do a double take at my receipt. They do offer regular deals, like most dispensaries, so I'll be sure to stop by next time they run a good promotion. This has been my go-to dispensary for years -- consistently good flower, fair deals, and service I've trusted. That's exactly why my experience on Christmas morning was so disappointing and unacceptable. I interacted with a lead (I believe her name was Stephanie or something similar), and what should have been a routine transaction became unnecessarily difficult. I was told I could not receive my comp pack because I had reached my flower limit. This was confusing, as this has never been an issue in the past when shopping with another person. If policies changed after Thanksgiving, that change was neither clearly communicated nor applied consistently. When I asked for clarification, her tone immediately shifted. She became condescending and repeatedly referred to me as "sweetie" and "honey." That language is dismissive, inappropriate, and unprofessional -- especially coming from someone in a leadership role. It created tension where none needed to exist and left me feeling talked down to rather than assisted. Had it not been for my partner intervening, I would have left without making a purchase and would seriously question returning. I'm leaving this review with the expectation that management takes notice, and I welcome follow-up from leadership regarding this experience. Leadership sets the standard for customer interactions, and this interaction fell well below that standard. Policies should be clear, consistent, and communicated respectfully. I've supported this business for years and have never left feeling upset or triggered until this visit. There's one guy--he always wears a mask--and he's been awesome every time I've visited. However, I've had two separate encounters with a budtender named Topanga, and I have to say, both times left me pretty disappointed. She wasn't nearly as helpful or attentive as I'd hoped. When I asked for recommendations, I felt brushed off--like she wasn't interested in helping me find what I needed. Instead of taking the time to guide me through the options, she just pointed at things without giving any real insight. It honestly felt like she couldn't be bothered to help me make an informed decision. Let's just start off with great customer service at the location but horrible service on delivery, so today I placed an order at about 5:05pm figured I should get my order by 5:30-6pm the latest. A few moments go by and it is now 5:29 I receive a message saying that the driver was 13 minutes away, didn't reply because I figured they would call or text when they arrived like they USUALLY DO. The time is now 6:02pm and still nothing(the place is about 15 minutes away from where I stay) so I texted them asking "how much more time", immediately I got a message saying that my order was canceled because I didn't call back. IN WHICH I NEVER RECEIVED A PHONE CALL, MESSAGE/TEXT OR EMAIL. So now i'm getting frustrated because this is very inconvenient due to the fact that there was no communication at all. I get on the phone at 6:04pm and called the store and Gabriel answered the phone and I explained to him how the driver texted me they were on their way never came and told me that my order was canceled because I didn't call them back and that is what a manager told them, he informed me that there must have been some miscommunication about the message and put me on hold to call the driver and get things figured out. The driver did not answer at all, so Gabriel informed me that if he was able to get a hold of the driver would I still want my order and I told him yes and I also asked will he be communicating with me to make sure I get my items. I never received any communication from Gabriel, at 6:59pm I get a messages asking did I still want my order.
