I came here for lash extensions and ended up in the ER and urgent care (twice)…read more I've had lashes before without any problems. But came here for a more natural look after being referred by a friend. I told the tech from the beginning of the service that my eye was burning. She continued anyway. This continued on throughout the duration of my service, with the tech leaving without explanation during the process. That night, the pain and redness started to get worse. The next morning I went to urgent care who then sent me to the ER. After multiple tests, I was informed that my eye was cut and that I had chemical burn in both eyes. As if that weren't bad enough, I woke up the next morning with both eyes nearly swollen shut. Apparently the lash glue they use is extremely strong and caused an allergic reaction. I suffered temporary blindness and had discharge from both eyes. I texted with the salon about this multiple times. I also returned and the manager stood there without even acknowledging me. When I asked to speak to him directly, he told me that "it is what it is" even though I brought my medical documentation with me. I had to ask for a refund which took several days. And I have since been given the run around about the claims process to help get my medical bills covered. I understand that things happen, but it's how this was handled that left a very bad taste in my mouth. I do not recommend this business and will obviously not be returning.

I ended up growing my brows out and decided to call to see if she was back. She answered and let me know she's back with a limited schedule, so I rushed to her right away. I've always battled acne and acne scars since middle school years (which is a long time ago lol) and there comes a time where you tell yourself no amount of skincare and makeup products will help your skin (just yet). Seeing an esthetician may sound expensive, but it is definitely worth it. Think of it as an investment for the sake of your skin, your happiness, your mental health. Yuki offers treatment options after assessing your skin, and each time you go, your skin may need different treatments. For example, when I saw Yuki 2 sessions ago, she noticed my skin got darker. It was true because I was taking more walks after lunch under the sun. She knew that I needed a brightening treatment that time. After going to Yuki's for 10 years, my skin has been clearer, brighter, with pores unclogged and ready for skincare products. I feel more confident and that is money well spent! Overall, she knows what she's doing and that's really what you want from an esthetician: the truth. Jenny and Yuki both work at that place and both of them know skincare. I've just been seeing Yuki for so long and she understands my skin. Each session usually starts with face cleansing, then a wonderful shoulder massage to relax you before your facial treatment begins.
