Have a Chevrolet, the fuel pump went bad. The service manager gave me an estimate of $1800 . I wound up fixing it myself $90. Later ran into the same guy in church and told him I got it fixed by myself and that I found out there was a recall and he could've fixed it on the recall for free. He responded he knew that and didt tell me it was a recall because I had a Chevy and they were a GMC dealership! He didn't even have the courtesy to send me to the Chevy dealership. Bought a very nice used Chevy limited Suburban from them. Sales man did great job, told me they would fix the small dent in passengers door. So brought back to them for scheduled body work per sale agreement, the body then repaired door but failed to contain the dust and smell from basically making my truck into a sticky dirty truck I would never want to drive... Manager would not return my phone call as if 24 hours , possibly they said he left for the day and should be back Monday. Took 2 months to find a nice clean uses truck now it is just horrible... I bought an Audi A6 from Fletech's Audi on December 7, 2022. At the end of the pandemic so I ordered the vehicle from the dealership. We bought from the same dealer and same salesman before so I thought I could trust them. Boy what a huge mistake!!! My husband recently passed so our son was reviewing paperwork for the car and he stunned to learn that I paid over $9,000.00 for services I didn't need. For an example they sold me a policy for $5000.00 for extended warranty to 60,000 miles. Well, Audi's warranty covers you until 45,000 miles so they charged $5,000 to extend the warranty 15,000 miles. Does that sound ethical? I did also buy the Audi Care plan and that is resonable at $1,390.00, that I have no problem. During my visit to the dealership the salesman kept going to the manager to check on things. I had no clue or suspicion what was happening. I was there hours and in fact I had a new puppy with me so took him for 2 walks while the salesman was gone somewhere. I told them I had to leave because it was snowing heavily and I had a 3 hour drive. What a dope I was!!! They presented the papers so I signed! All the while the salesman is telling me it all part of maintenance package. Interestingly, they sent me on my way with copies of the policies, but not the signed copies. Make up your own mind!!! I have been known to say 'I hate buying cars'. I have also bragged about 'making my wife do it', when it comes to the car buying experience. But that has all changed, thanks to my experience with Fletch's and the excellent customer experience I received from Christy Johnson! I live in Portland Oregon. I was searching all over the country for a specific 2017 Audi A4. I found Fletch's through a post on Auto Trader and they had the car I was looking for. The shipping cost was going to be too expensive, and I was worried about buying a car without seeing it in person. BUT Christy sent very detailed photos of any minor imperfections and answered all of my questions. Then, on top of that...she delivered the car! When the car arrived, Christy had it completely detailed, full of gas, and she was willing to spend as much time as I needed to feel comfortable with all the fun electronic features. Not once in the process did I hear 'let me check with my manager'. Christy was fantastic to work with! And although I live across the country - you can bet I will be reaching out to Christy and Fletch's when it is time to buy another vehicle. Will never buy another vehicle from them! EVER!! I would highly recommend shopping elsewhere when looking for a vehicle. We spent over 30000 dollars on a Yukon Denali and the never even detailed it or vacuumed it like the promised! There was a chip in the windshield and we were promised it would be addressed. It wasn't!! Had to replace a gas line a month or so after we bought it(out of our own pocket) even after the asshole salesman talked us into an extended warranty! Furthermore we had to replace a $750 dollar taillight a month after purchasing. Also we find out that the thing won't hold oil. When we try calling the salesman (J.R.) he gives us a bullshit excuse that he's left countless messages. Which is a lie. I totally understand the whole fact that we bought a used car but when they make promises to get us to buy a vehicle they should hold true to their word. I will be telling anyone who will listen how horrible of an experience it has been. If you do go there for some reason to buy a car, stay away from J.R.!! Totally they kind of shitbird that gives car salesmen a bad name!! read more
