The Service Department is great and the Parts Department is the best in the business - I can say that because I have been to Brown Motors before. The professionalism and attention to detail, the service follow up right before you leave and after - awesome! I deal with a few dealerships near me in Rochester and honestly, they could learn a great deal about customer service from this small town dealership called; "Brown Motors!" Even while waiting for the work to be done I happened to walk around the Chrysler/Jeep/Dodge/Ram side and every sales member said hello - it's nice to know that customer service and friendliness still exist.

(That's what I expected.) But they are so lovely -- so generous and polite and thrifty (if anything they have only ever undercharged me -- like, "we didn't charge you for the additive because it was Audi's fault it leaked out"). They really go above and beyond and I try to map out my mileage so I'll have my oil changed during the summer, after I've driven from CA. Recently I had to turn in my beloved car ("emissions scandal" etc etc) and I spoke to the sales associate about the possibility about buying my new car in Michigan. I had pulled in on a whim and she kept the dealership open late to help me, printing out everything I did not feel like reading on line, because every dealership in the country has run out of brochures (Audi, print more brochures!). I am not the kind of person who loves to buy a new car. And I have an excellent dealership in LA. I am not totally thrilled with Audi as a company. But between my wonderful service department in LA and this excellent dealership here, I am thinking about forgiving Audi for stealing my beloved, beloved diesel from me.

When I was first looking to purchase a car, I contacted this dealership and I was stuck with an uneducated and non-communicative salesman named Shane Grove, who was incredibly useless. Do not go to Shane, he does not have people or customer service skills. Once I told Shane that I would be financing the vehicle through my credit union he was helping me less and less when it came to looking for a vehicle. I had to demand I get a new salesman due to being treated so poorly (especially after spending 26k on a car). Also, when I went to pick up the car I was told how the title was not in for the vehicle and no one at the dealership even bothered to keep me informed I was having to messaged and call them constantly just to get an update on my title because I am currently driving around with the dealerships plate instead of my own. This dealership sullied my car buying experience and I will never go back nor will I be recommending people to shop here. -10/10 car buying experience.

I made it to the dealership and the young guy in the service pay was polite and directed me to speak to a lady in the office. I knew that it wasn't likely they would have time to work on it but I was hoping they could took a quick look and let me know if I could keep driving or if it needed repair. The lady informed me "all my guys are at lunch and I can't help you today." I tried to ask that I wanted to just know if it was safe to drive it and got a snide response. I left and called the Jeep dealership in Ypsilantii and the guy I talked to couldn't believe they wouldn't take 5 minutes to get a diagnostic code to determine if it was okay to drive or not. We made it home and woke up this morning to take it there first thing. They told us it was a Canadian vehicle and out of basic warranty so they can't help us and sent us away. We stopped by advanced auto parts and they sent us to upper lakes tire who actually helped us. After talking to our dealership, they said Feeny should love this kind of work since they will be getting paid from another dealership and it's warrantied work from them. We called back to speak to a manager once we talked to our dealer, and he told us the same thing. "It's a Canadian vehicle so we can't help you." They only suggestion they gave us was to go to muffler man which is closed today. Whether they could actually help us or not, they need to improve on their customer service and explaining things since they left us with no explanation of why they couldn't help us beyond the fact that they were busy.

I did buy an extended warranty at FEENY when I purchased my new car there. I took it in and they said we can call the mopar rep but we don't think it will be covered? Why? It is expensive was their answer. Of course they are changing their tune now trying to blame it on me. Going on since January and despite multiple phone calls and talking with owner they will not honor the warranty! Also, many times I would try to make an appointment for a repair and often it would take 1-2 weeks to get an appointment! Is this because it takes 3 visits for them to do a simple repair? Is it because the cars they sell break down that much? Is it because they know I have a warranty they wish not to honor? Not sure but either way not good!
