We called with a septic system emergency. While they were initially helpful and polite, they ultimately forgot about the job, and us, entirely; on Saturday night they promised they would be out the next (Sunday) morning, but neither called nor showed. When we called to ask what was going on they had no idea who we were, then blamed the situation on, 'a little mix up '. They did not apologize once, nor could they tell us when they actually would be back to fix the issue. Perhaps Fletcher is fine for routine issues, but be wary if you have an emergency. read more

DJ from Fletcher in Ludlow was a life saver. On Saturday my septic backed up and I had a real mess. I made many called looking for help. Being a weekend you just leave message and hope you get a call back. Those who did call back said Monday was the earliest they could come out. FIRST AND LAST TIME I USE FLETCHER. Although the techs were great my issue was not resolved. After two attempts reaching out to office personel i was ignored.I was told by Dave that I would not be charged on the third visit;guess what I was put on the spot for another $60.00. Same day service?! Ok great. My washer drain was backing up all over my floor. Not a catastrophe (like a toilet would be), but it was irritating. They came out the same day and provided service. Unfortunately, despite the fact that we fixed it that day, it backed up the following day (a Saturday). I called back to let them know and they sent someone out again and re-fixed the problem. No additional fees. Prices were reasonable for same day service. Service technicians are friendly and nice (and dog friendly)! I'll use them again for sure! read more

Used Fletcher to clear sink drain clog twice (unfortunately due to narrowness of pipes in this house). Both times, able to come and fix the problem in under 24 hours notice. Well, it might be a tad expensive, but that's sort of what you expect with plumbing services. With Fletcher, though, you'll get A+ customer service from the off-hours answering service (say, if you're bathroom floods on a Sunday night, not that I know from personal experience), to the office who calls early the next day, and from the technician who comes to solve your drainage woes. Super polite, knowledgable, and prompt. I would definitely use this company again. They give you a flash drive with the recording of the camera work of your drain pipe. I called on a Sunday night, got a call back immediately, and they had it fixed before lunchtime on Monday. Honestly would be five stars but my checkbook told me to make it four. read more

I called KegCo in wilbraham to deal with a plugged drain line, they suggested fletcher drain. I called, and received service the same day. A technician was at my house for about an hour and solved the issue. They were reasonably priced, considering what plumbing work normally costs. I would use this company again. read more

Same day service? What?? I'm blown away. I had a clogged drain that could not be solved through Wikipedia...trust me two people tried. I called my very local plumber and of course they were busy for five days but recommended these guys. They gave me a heads up call, showed up (on time) and solved the problem. I called to see if someone could come out on a Sunday. Within 10 minutes of calling, the technician called and said he would be there in the afternoon. I was so impressed when he arrived and introduced himself and also shook my hand. No technician does that anymore. He cleared the drain and explained everything that was done. Very professional and courteous. I had used Mr. Rooter and Roto Rooter in the past. Never again. Very reasonable compared to the others. I will recommend this company to everyone I know. read more

I called Fletcher Sever and Drain on a Mon. and they had a tech. at my home on Tue. The tech. was very prompt and professional. I had a problem with small tree roots growing into my sewer line which caused water to back up into a basement sink whenever I did laundry or had a large amount of water go down the drain from our bathtub. The problem had happened before and the tech listened to my past problem and assured me it was a repeat. The tech. snaked the sewer line to the street and the drain line back under the house. The roots were there and he removed them. He snaked a camera into the sewer line and made me a d.v.d. to save for future reference. He assured me the problem would happen again in time and advised me to request a maintenance call in a year. He also gave me advice on a chemical to use which would help on killing off some of the roots. Overall I was happy with the service, but was surprised at the cost. I realize the company has state of the art equipment and understand that service calls are never cheap. Just bear in mind that Fletcher Sewer and Drain charges $195 per hour before 5:00PM and after 5:00 or on weekends this charge jumps to $210 and hour. I do feel it was worth the price just for peace of mind and also to avoid water damage. read more
