    Update: After initially being charged for a service that was completed--and without prior…read moreauthorization--I wrote a formal letter of complaint to Wind River Environmental and also posted a negative review. I later filed a dispute with my credit card company. To their credit, Wind River has now reversed the unauthorized charges and resolved the billing issue. While the situation was frustrating and could have been avoided with clearer communication upfront, I do appreciate their willingness to make it right in the end. I'm updating this review to reflect that resolution and to acknowledge that the company ultimately acted to correct the issue.

    I contacted this company after my plumber recommended them to snake my main sewer line in the…read morebasement of my home. I spoke to one of their customer service reps. and was told that $249.99 covered 1hr of work. There would be an additional charge for any work conducted over the initial hour and for any equipment that maybe needed. After conforming this information, I agree to the charge and scheduled an appointment on 6/13/25. When the tech came out, he looked at the issue and stated that my main sewer line needed to be snaked for an additional fee that was over $400.00 dollars. I advised him that I was not told this when I called to schedule the appointment and that I would call to get this resolved. The first serv. rep. put in a ticket with the issue. The tech advised me that he spoke to his supv. and if I was not willing to pay the additional fee he would not be able to complete the work. I asked to speak to his supv. Justin and was told that he(supv.) didn't see a ticket from my call and he would not talk with me. The tech. left my home without completing any work, but they charged me $249.99. I had to call several times from 6/13/25-6/26/25 and speak to several rep. I was advised that the sewer drain manager and then the general manager would call me to resolved this, but they never called me. On 6/26/25 I was advised that they realized that I was misinformed and I will be receiving a refund for $249.99 in 2weeks. All the customer service rep. that I spoke to were professional and very helpful in trying to get this issue resolved. The ball dropped with the supv. Justin Hightower and the general manager not addressing the issue. I nor even customer should not have to call a company over eight times before an issue is finally addressed by management and resolved. That is Not the way any company should be conducted business. Due to this, I do Not recommend this company and will submit another review once I receive my refund.

Not until i posted a poor review did the owner respond. Schedule an appt, take time off of work, tech shows up an hour and 15 later , with no call, only until i texted him did i know he would be late. So I missed work for no reason at all!!! Pointed out my spare washing machine, bc I bought a new one thinking it was the machine, and not them! Happens a 2nd time, well? They take no responsibility without a fight!! Come to fix it, basically offer me half price for their lack of service for a problem they caused only bc i was stubborn, only to say, it would help if you took down your bad review! Bribery!!! Then hear the owner on the phone say, so how was she? Prior to agreeing to charge me half price. So I agree, n meet in the middle! Asked them to bill me, and I would call to pay it. Suddenly, and fraudulently my account is charged by them!!!! I never consented to keep my card on file or to process a payment!!! Emailed, texted, no response!!! So here it is, they pump your tank then you get a basement, n washing machine full of shit!!! Just like Gabe!!! Their reputation comes from before this dink was in charge!!! Do yourself a favor and do not use Slims!!!! I will be blocking the charge and reporting fraud, blackmail, and bribery!!! Thank you for your response Erin!!! CREDIT Card Fraud!!! What kind of business behaves this way?! I didnt ask for the refund for the initial pump out, you offered it and then took it back??? Tosday I emailed and texted to see what the story is. Asked for direct contact to business mananger to discuss, again no response. I have never heard of or experienced something so dishonest in my life!! For someone who wants to pray for me, I think you need to reassess your integrity. Such a shame to have to play games like this. Just he honest, upfront and take responsibility!! Dont try and make yourselves look good, by claiming you issued a discount and then retracting it. Juat do the right thing, follow through on what you said you would, and then lose my account information!! There is no need for this run around and deceitfulness!!!     Horrible experience with this company. I made an appointment with them and they allegedly came…read morewhile I was working. They billed me for a 1500 gallon tank when I told them it was 1000 gallons. 6 months later my tank was overflowing coming to find out that it had never even been pumped. I called a different company and they confirmed that there's no way my tank was pumped 6 months ago. I've tried contacting them for some kind of compensation but the person in charge of billing is never around. How convenient. I would stay clear of this company.
