I didn't deal with it properly--I just threw a big rock over it, covered it with dirt, and forgot about it. Recently, I got a dog who discovered the rock and dug it up. I called RDE, and the owner came by the very next day. He told me I was lucky the pipe hadn't clogged with dirt yet.
