Service is horrible. It took forever to get our food. The waitress walked by our table multiple times without refilling our drinks or checking to see if we needed anything. The food was lacking flavor. I ordered a grilled chicken salad with bacon. The chicken was so tough, you could of hammered a nail with it. It was basically a plate of lettuce with some chicken and bacon. My husband ordered a double cheeseburger. It was dry and tasteless. They are suppose to be famous for their milkshakes, but they lack flavor as well. My son said he's had better at McDonalds. We've been here multiple times hoping it will get better. We have tried to talk to the owner, but she laughs it off making excuses for her staff. The only thing this place has going for them is their candy and their ambiance. Perhaps they should just focus on that. read more

Flesor's is a must-stop every time we are in Tuscola--more, depending on how long we're staying. The food is wonderful, the service is wonderful. We never miss it. read more

This a great place to eat. They have great Philly Cheese Steaks, Rubens, Potato Salad, Italian Beef, and especially candy. But the shining light of this place is by far the soda. They have great green rivers, chocolate sodas with chocolate ice cream, and so much more. And they make the soda right there in front of you! A women named Devin and her sister Ann own it. After lunch, Devin was very nice and decided that she would take our party back into the room where they make candy and how and when their most candy is sold. Here, they have a great family atmosphere, great food, and great service. read more

Great soda fountain here. Can't comment on the food though because the server ignored my table completely after taking our drink orders. We waited there for a half hour as she looked after the guests at the tables next to ours. Eventually we walked out. Wasn't worth the drive from Champaign. read more

No doubt the place offers back in time atmosphere and as food too, as I had been told, but do not expect the same for the bill.

Husband and I were out Geocaching in the area found this place with yelp. Is open on Sundays and had sandwiches to take along. Yeah!

Stopped by yesterday with my mother who always wanted to visit. The owner was very friendly and showed us around the entire store, including the candy shop where she was shaping a new batch of fudge. Love the chocolates and toffee that we purchased. Look forward to returning. If you are ever in the area I highly recommend you stop by. read more

Very few times I got to go go here but will never forget it I will be taking m kids here when they are older

I love this place. As a local, outside friends ask me places to eat. I always recommend Flesor's

The ice cream was great but the customer service was HORRIBLE. Before I got the ice cream I asked the cashier if they accepted American Express and she said that they did, however, when I went to pay, she was extremely rude and pushed my card away and began to lecture me about how I should never pay with a credit card for something that's under two dollars (because they get a service charge) and that it wasn't even worth it for me to pay. She then asked me in a condescending voice "Do you understand what I am saying to you?". Luckily, my friend stepped in and offered to pay for me but I will NEVER go back simply because of this instance. I do not believe the woman would have been so rude to me if I wasn't a teenager. She completely embarrassed me in front of my friends and none of us will ever go back. read more

Um, this one goes to 11. Everything is good in the sweets area, and the meat loaf is wunderbar.

We went to the Candy kitchen for a quick family lunch, and knowing that my options would be limited due to allergies, I wasn't sure what to expect. The owner, Devin, was super helpful. I ended up with a bunless burger (par for the course for me) but there were no sides on the menu that I could eat due to being allergic to milk. Devon put together a fruit plate for me to make sure that I had a full meal. She also made me chocolate sauce to put over the fruit which made me feel very special. What a wonderful experience!! read more

This place was closed when I was a child. I remember driving by it and dreaming about all the candy that was once made there and wondering if maybe there was any left behind. If only I could see inside! I'm overjoyed that these ladies recognized the value of this place and went to the trouble of restoring it. They've done an exceptional job with the authentic restoration. The candy is handmade and old fashioned enough to be sentimental but delicious and exciting for today's palate. It isn't just a breakfast joint, it's a community treasure. My grandfather meets his cronies here every morning. Say hi to them when you stop in. read more

Passing through, my family and I stopped to get gas and food and this was only place in the area that was open for breakfast on a Sunday. Looked it up on Yelp and had pretty good reviews and food looked good so we decided to try it. First off I want to say, as soon as we walked into the place we got stares from the whole place. I assumed it was a small town local type place and we just were not recognized so I thought nothing of it. Now the hours say 6 am to 5 pm everyday, we walk into the store about 15 mins to 10 am and never being there before I asked the person in the front if we just seat ourselves. He told me very politely yes and so we took a seat and pulled out a menu. Now only a minute goes by and a blonde woman walks past and very rudely says "guys were closed, can't order from 10-11, come back another time" and walked away. Obviously passing through we couldn't just "come back". Nowhere does this place have it written that they are not open from 10-11 and also it was 15 mins til 10 and the place was filled with people eating and the guy next to us literally just got his food. Like I said, this is a little small town place so honestly it seemed a little prejudice to us. Serving locals but not serving other customers. Let alone the states we received while coming inside. Im not exactly sure why we weren't being served, so confused, we just picked up our things and walked out. I don't know why the guy at the front would have us take a seat if they wouldn't serve us and I think it's a little ridiculous the waitress couldn't be a little nicer about the situation or just serve us considering we arrived before they "closed". All I have to say is waitress missed out on a large tip because I'm one to always tip very well seeing as I work for tips as well. Never will I go back there, and honestly I think they need to put on their door, Yelp, etc. that they will not serve you 10-11. read more

Old-Fashioned candy store and lunch stop. Good little meal but the best part is ending it with a Paul's Pecan treat! Yum! (On a weird wide not the Iced tea here is just plain good!!) read more

Found this place on a trip using Yelp and was a pleasant surprise! Nice looking old time soda shop atmosphere and candy shop. Had a malt that was great and bought a box of assorted chocolates that were great too! Cool place. read more

My husband and I are new to the area. My in-laws were over helping us remodel our home and suggested eating lunch at Flesor's. The atmosphere was unique and very nice. The service was great! Our waitress was kind and our order came out perfectly. I had the lunch special and it was amazing. Everyone else was pleased with their food choices too. I will definitely be returning! read more

Almost had lunch at Flesors candy kitchen in Tuscola today. After making us wait forever to order then the owner came over to ask if I could make my son sit down in the booth, he was standing on the seat. We hadn't even received our drinks but they didn't like the fact that my 3 year old is not patient and quiet. I told her no I can't but we can leave and she just said okay. I cannot hardly believe it, I've never been treated so rudely in my life. read more

Excellent food and wonderful service! The best Reuben sandwich I have ever eaten. And the iced tea is very good and the prices are hard to beat. We will be back :) read more

Love this place, the atmosphere and people. My daughter took me there for my birthday and they brought me two of the yummy homemade turtle candies, my favorite, and sang to me. Now those people can sing, it was beautiful....:) My only complaint was had breakfast there one other time and wasn`t that pleased with it, but lunch has always been very good. If your ever in Tuscola don`t miss this one. read more

My wife and I have eaten there several times and the food is good. We went there last Sunday for lunch and got there right at 11am knowing they would be busy with Mothers Day. The minute we walked in the door we were told that we could not be served since we did not have a reservation. As we looked around the restaurant we saw that 95% of the tables were empty. They have done a lot of advertising about them expanding their space. If they don't take care of customers better they soon won't need the extra space. I do not need to drive 30 miles just to be turned away. They need to learn what good customer service is. read more

Candy and historic soda fountain charm gets five stars. Food and service is a average four stars. Prepare to wait, this is not fast food. The staff is quirky and they will grow on you, especially one of the owners, Devon. You must try the turtles, they are freshly made on-site and delicious! read more
