I wrote a review yesterday on the way to Austin,TX from Magnolia, TX, a three hour trip. I was the passenger of coarse, so I wanted to start this review.
My brother is a doctor in Austin also and he recommended Dr. Fleming who is an 'Oncologist Surgeon' for my colon cancer. They've known one another before med school and my brother said "if I were having this procedure, it would be Dr. Fleming who would preform the operation". Well, he is certainly correct !
This man's first words were "I'm sorry you are having to go through this problem", just as the lady stated in the previous review. Dr. Fleming is very 'down to earth' and sits down to actually talk to you 'face-to-face' in a language you understand; he explains what's happening, where it is, his plan to remedy the problem and the step-by-step procedure. Then he allows you to ask questions that he answers to your understanding. He actually explained much more than the first doctor I saw for the same procedure.
The first doctor was going to use robotics to perform the procedure; however, Dr. Fleming explained why this wasn't the best coarse of action. Evidently there are several 'Lymph Nodes' (filters) attached to this section of the Colon which need to be removed. If these 'Lymph Nodes' have been infected but not removed, the cancer would spread. The previous doctor did not mention any of these ideas, suggestions or options to live longer.
I'll add more after the operation. However, I have faith in God to guide this doctor`s hands, mind & abilities.
God Bless & keep the faith. read more
