But it's our good fortune to have the multi-generation owned Cos Cob TV & Audio that has been meeting this standard in our area even before my first happy experience with them 30-years ago. The store has expanded from its initial analog TV repair to major home TV theater, security systems and other large smart home projects. They also bring all this to the small residential projects like mine, which is also rare. When I first moved to Cos Cob, the original owner recommended an analog SONY Trinitron VEGA TV whose picture tube still works, but digital has passed it by. I've since bought two smart TVs from them, the latest needing a complex wall installation requiring cable concealment. From setting up the initial site inspection with Joe at the store, to Conner's perfect installation, which is separately charged, they are great to work with. I also wanted to redesign my "too little work space" 4' x 2' home office desk and install Ergotron arms for my computer displays. Their other tech, Jason, expertly took on the home office project, drilling the needed desk grommets, installing the Ergotrons and concealing the cables, giving me needed room to work. We had a concern for my bedroom television. Due to the room design it was not a great fit (yet). Bob came by the same day. We went bedroom first and he made it simple and cost effective to get an arm and mount the TV so it will not only store out of the way, it now has better placement then ever to watch with comfort and ease. Next he suggests a LG 55 and I am glad I asked. I asked him to do it and done it was at noon the next day. Bob and his men were on time and never rushed. They took time to tweak the components so that they worked with remotes, were hidden and also spent time setting up all the controls on the sets and the cable box. Same thing in the family room. 55" beautifully wall mounted, wires neatly concealed and Sonos bar optimized, and remote and internet component (Smart TV) fully explained and demonstrated. So they not only did a great job, they also helped to optimized each set they touched and they came in under budget. I want to thank them and hope to refer business to them well into the future!

His wife Wendy brought us across the street to see an LG projector and screen. She seemed a bit reluctant to take us at first, but opened up after awhile. Robert emailed me with a proposal that night, of which I didn't need a cabinet at all (don't know why that was included). Seemed fair! But my cousin that night got me a great deal (50% off!) on the projector through a website through his job once I knew I liked it earlier that day at Value. So I emailed Robert back to say I won't be purchasing the projector from him based on the insane deal my cousin got me. BUT I would still like to purchase the 110" screen, an entire audio system AND to install and calibrate it all! I emailed him TWICE with no answer, called THREE times with no answer and even left a voicemail with no return call. I am really surprised because they have a beautiful shop, very friendly no pressure sales approach BUT they don't care for my business at all. I was about to spend roughly $7,500 on the above mentioned equipment and services but maybe they were mad that I didn't want to buy the projector from them so they didn't return my calls out of spite and blew $7,500 in other sales? I still had to see the screen and discuss the services they can offer me and possible audio equipment? I don't know why, but I am so disappointed I was totally ignored after a nice visit with my wife with great conversation as well! Good good people, but either spiteful or don't care for smaller sized sales. Regardless, i waited 3 days for someone from Value to get back to me after so many attempts on my part but gave up and I just spent over $7,500 on those items at a Long Island big box store today.
