I came in at 6pm for gel x extensions and cat eye and left at 7:30 which is 30 minutes past closing. Linda worked on my nails and she's great. My nail beds are smaller so some gel would spill over and she cleaned it up and filed my nails perfectly to fit my hands. The products used are of top quality with polishes from korea/china/japan and the space is very clean. The price came out to $120 which is worth it for the quality of service and products. My nails are more on the expensive side because I got extensions and cat eye on each nail. The owner Grace is very accommodating and a pleasure to talk to.

I really wanted to love this place because it looks like it is a minority women owned business but…read moreI have to say I am very disappointed. At a glance the decor is beautiful. But the tech that did my pedicure barely filed down the ridges on my toe nails. So you can see bumps on the toe polish. I showed her what nails I wanted which were an almond shape french tip but I had to ask her to fix the shape on almost every nail. She attempted to paint my nails but left visible streaks so I asked if she can fix it before painting more nails. She swapped techs midway so I feel bad for the other customer. The other customer even voiced out why switch midway. The new tech maybe the manager or owner who attempted to do french tips but left me with uneven lines, uneven product build, and air bubbles. Each nail is a different white line thickness. I voiced out can she fix it. The new tech just said, "that's the best I can do... everyone's nails are different... you're paying with groupon so what do you expect" Inside I was furious! Just because I used a groupon, does that mean I'll get a different result than a non-groupon customer? I tried to remain cool by tipping her well and thanked her and left. I will never return here. I never felt so ashamed for using groupon in my life. I should have saved the $60-$70 I spent here to go somewhere else that actually knows how to do french tips.

Instead, I received very rude service, which was unacceptable. I had no issues with the other staff, but because of this one employee, I won't be returning. Every request I made was rejected. It's my feet, and I should be able to make reasonable choices. I asked if I could wear my flip-flops so I could walk home afterward, and she said no. I also requested a base coat, and she blamed it for why my polish wouldn't dry quickly. During the polish application, she kept insisting on doing things her way without explaining in English, but it was obvious she didn't want to accommodate any of my preferences. The entire experience felt dismissive and unfriendly. Good customer service is about treating customers with respect, and unfortunately, that was missing during my visit.

This place left me with serious buyer's remorse--I regretted my decision to come here and even more so after paying so much. During my pedicure, the nail tech scrubbed my foot so aggressively with the exfoliating tool that she cut the underside of my toe. She seemed to realize it too, because she noticeably used less pressure on the other foot. I didn't notice the cut right away, but felt a sting afterward and saw the injury. When I pointed it out, she apologized--but said nothing in the moment and had me put my foot back into the water, which is a major hygiene concern and increases the risk of infection. I asked when I arrived if they accepted cards and was told yes, but the additional card fee wasn't mentioned until checkout. That kind of information should be disclosed upfront--especially given that their prices are already on the higher end. I also got acrylic extensions, which were really mediocre. The length was inconsistent (as shown in my pictures), the application was thick, and the finished result looked like I already had them on for a week--she didn't apply the product close to the cuticle line, which left an obvious gap. The total came out to about $180 for a gel pedicure and acrylic manicure, and unfortunately, the quality just didn't match the price. They're charging premium rates for subpar work. (Keep in mind I wouldn't mind the price if it actually looked good and they did not give me a cut on my foot) Definitely won't be returning, and I WOULD NOT recommend this place to others.

While paying, I shared an inspiration picture with the owner, who quoted me around $90. However, when I arrived for my GelX appointment, they informed me that they didn't have the desired charms and would have to create them using gel. I expressed my preference for charms because it's less prone to getting dirty quickly. During the appointment, I showed Candy another design. She requested the owner's presence to finalize the total price. The owner quoted me $10 for the length and $5 for the shape, which seemed unusual since there was no filing done to the tip. When I inquired about the $5 charge for the shape, even though the extension comes pre-shaped, the owner changed the price to $15 for the length. When I questioned the owner about this discrepancy, she claimed that since it was my second time and we're all Chinese, she wouldn't charge me. I asked her for a total price and she told me $100. Upon paying, The owner (Jae I think) informed me that the nails would cost $175. The $100 she had initially quoted me was only for the style. I was required to pay an additional $60 for the GelX and $15 for the length, even though she had previously stated that she wouldn't charge for the shape. I was so bewildered that I couldn't even argue with her. On Saturday, I received beautiful Gel-X extensions. Unfortunately, by Thursday (the second day of my vacation), two of the nails had already lifted. While Candy's work was indeed beautiful, it unfortunately didn't last. Despite my preference for Gel-X extensions, which are longer and last at least three weeks, I kept being persuaded to switch to Gel extensions. It's unfortunate because I work on the same street and have had numerous customers ask me where I get my nails done. I must warn them to be cautious of price changes at the last minute while paying.
