The floors themselves look beautiful, and I want to acknowledge that. Unfortunately, the finished product does not erase the way this project was handled when several problems arose afterward. Before installation, we specifically discussed that the crew would move our treadmill, washing machine, and gas dryer so the flooring could be completed. They did exactly that. During the project, the crew shut off the water to our entire house without notifying us, leaving us unable to use the sinks, showers, or toilets. I did not make an issue of it at the time because they texted me instructions and I restored the water myself the following morning. They also propped our garage door open using a pin rather than simply stopping it with the opener. When I later removed the pin from outside, the garage door unexpectedly came down and nearly crushed my neck. The crew also reconnected our gas dryer but left the gas shutoff valve closed, so the dryer ran without producing any heat. I asked the company to simply send someone back to restore the dryer to the working condition it was in before the project because I was not comfortable handling a gas connection myself. Most importantly, our washing machine lid was in pristine condition immediately before this project and was cracked after the crew moved the appliance. It now requires significant force to close and operate. What turned an otherwise fixable situation into an extremely negative experience was the response from ownership. I initially approached the company politely, complimented the floors, explained the washer damage, and did not even begin by demanding reimbursement. Instead of investigating what happened, I was told there was "no proof" their crew caused the damage. I was also specifically told that the crew moved the washing machine using a dolly, that they never needed to access or apply pressure to the lid, and that they therefore could not have caused the damage. Unfortunately for the company, I have exterior security camera footage of the move. After carefully reviewing that footage, it clearly shows members of the crew physically handling the upper portion of the washing machine in the exact area where the lid was subsequently damaged. In other words, the claim that the crew never touched or applied pressure near the top of the machine is directly contradicted by the video evidence. I also have photographs taken immediately before the project showing the washing machine intact and properly aligned, along with photographs afterward documenting the damage. Rather than acknowledge the possibility that something happened during the move, ownership became increasingly defensive. I was told they were "not movers," while in the very same conversation I was also told that moving washers and dryers is their "standard procedure" and something they "do regularly." Those statements simply do not reconcile. When I asked for the appliances to be returned to the working condition they were in before the project, the conversation escalated further. I was accused of effectively refusing payment and warned about the possibility of a mechanic's lien over a remaining $300 balance (lol) despite the fact that I had never stated I would not pay. For context, I had already paid the $100 deposit and $2,000 toward the job. The remaining $300 could not be sent until the following day because Zelle imposed a transfer restriction on my first transaction with this company. Once the gas issue was corrected, I paid the remaining balance immediately as required by the contract. The crew members themselves were friendly and helpful, and the flooring looks great. My criticism is specifically about how ownership responded when legitimate concerns were raised. Mistakes can happen on any job. What matters is whether a business investigates them honestly, communicates professionally, and tries to make the customer whole. In this case, I was first told there was "no proof," then given a specific explanation claiming the crew never handled the portion of the washing machine that was damaged. My security footage directly contradicts that explanation. After I posted my Thumbtack review describing what happened, ownership contacted me again with an unsolicited message about the review. I was told that I had left a "bad review based on an assumption," that the company was "not interested in getting referrals" from me, and that despite everything they had supposedly done to help, "this is what we got from you." At that point, the issue was no longer simply a disagreement about appliance damage. The tone had become personal and hostile because I chose to publicly describe my experience. That, combined with the dismissive tone, the refusal to initially address the dryer connection, and the unnecessary threat of a mechanic's lien over a payment I had never refused to make, is why I cannot recommend this company. read more

I was looking for company to install poliaspartic flooring in our entry way. Called 5, all of them highly rated. Flatix was the fastest to respond, most reasonable priced, and provided a reference to a recently completed job so we can see the actual flooring, not just samples. Vítor and his crew were very easy to deal with. Work was done fast, with lots of care and our floors look great. Would definitely recommend! read more

No show, twice. No acknowledgment of being unable to make it, either before or after.

If I could give zero stars, I would. I normally don't rush to write negative reviews, but I felt like I had to share this so other people don't go through what we did. When you're spending good money $13,000 to be exact (and that's not including the money we lost closing our store down for two days) especially in this economy you expect honesty, communication, and quality work. Unfortunately, that wasn't the case here. From the start, communication was not great. When we first spoke with Marcelo, he mentioned having "over 20 years of experience," which made us feel confident. But later we realized the business itself has only been around for about 5-6 years, which felt a little misleading because he came off as he was the one who does the work he's just the messenger which we found out quickly after we paid. Lol. We actually worked with them back in 2024 and I held off on writing this hoping things would get resolved because, but they didn't. As business owners, we understand nobody's perfect and people make mistakes, but the work itself was disappointing and still is One of the workers didn't even clean the floor before applying the clear coat, which is basic prep. The finish came out sloppy, and we ended up with clear coat on our walls and trim. On top of that, it was a different person each time, so there was no consistency in the work. There was also a language barrier during one visit, which made it hard to explain concerns. This isn't about anything other than being able to clearly communicate when you're paying for a service especially under warranty I've also tried reaching out to Victor the owner multiple times and haven't gotten a proper response. In fact no apology, no solutions. He claimed they were going to address our concerns, via text message, but yet again a different worker came he brought no tools I claimed that Victor said they weren't able to do the job. Overall, they might be okay for very basic work, but I would NEVER trust them with anything beyond that. This was a frustrating experience and definitely a learning lesson for us as business owners. Do your research and go with a company that actually stands behind their work and not just Instagram posts or dismaying five star reviews . Anyone can look great on the internet these days. Terrible experience. I Don't want anyone else to go through this. read more

Victor and his crew transformed our garage floor! We had several severe cracks; they were able to grind them and smooth out the floor before applying a coating of epoxy flakes with a durable finish. We are very pleased with the finished product! Marcelo responded quickly to our initial request for an on-site quote, and was very helpful in choosing the right style of material. We were able to get the job done within a couple of weeks, and they were all very flexible and accommodating with the scheduling. Victor was very diligent in ensuring his company gave us a good experience :) We only got 1 quote - from Flatix - and hired them after Marcelo's initial visit. We felt the price was very reasonable based on our prior research. We would highly recommend Flatix for your epoxy project! read more

I got two quotes for a 2-car garage in Santa Clara. Flatix quoted a price that was $500 less so I choose them. Victor called me within minutes of asking for a quote. Marcelo was easy to work with and answered all my questions. The work was done per schedule and turned out fantastic. It's worth noting that I called about 7 epoxy places, and most blew me off, never responded back. If you're reading this, just go with Flatix and save your time - Quality work at a very reasonable price! read more

I requested a quote and review of my garage for flooring.. Vitor was prompt and came out and to review, I was concerned about a big crack down the middle of my garage. He assured me it was normal and he will take care of it, not a problem. I also wanted side concrete walls covered like the floor if possible. He easily made it possible . Not only did he take care of all that, it also suggested including the entire cement slab and he was right, it turned out amazing. I met with several companies before selecting Flatix. I knew when I met him. He was the right one. I'm so impressed with the outcome and his professionalism. Oh, his price was great. Right in the middle of around where others were, but much more value for your money with extras and 20 year warranty. thanks Monism read more

Vitor and his team are awesome. Fast responses, very clear about the whole process and the work was amazing. Vitor even covered the sides of our garage that looked awful without us asking and made them look great! Thanks Vitor and highly recommend Flatix to anyone looking to epoxy their garage. read more

We have a beautiful new garage floor thanks to Flatix. The price was right, the service and support were superior. The reason we selected Flatix was because of the Rep who came out to take measurements and give us a quote. He was on-site and answered all my questions and the company delivered on what they said they would do. I appreciated the personal connection. read more

Back in September, we hired Vitor to apply an Epoxy Coat to our newly poured basement floor. HE arrived right when he said he would and brought a few sample colors and flake materials for us to choose from. Vitor and his assistant did a clean job and at a fair price. A couple days later, I noticed a few small flaws in the coating. When I called Vitor about the flaws, he came back that day to correct the bad areas, and now I cant even see them; you can't ask for more than that! Last week we hired Vitor again to repair some cracks and prep a concrete slab floor at my dads house, and again we were very happy with the outcome. Thanks for the nice work Vitor! :-) read more

I highly recommend Flatix. I have had great experiences with their team and their work. What I loved especially was their customers support. They came to my home to walk me through the process, show actual floor samples and photos from other customers and prepare a quote, which was competitive with other companies. They use high quality products and processes. I mainly dealt with Victor who is incredibly responsive and showed tremendous flexibility when I requested several schedule changes. I would definitely go back to Flatix. read more

Flatix did epoxy flooring for our garage. They did a clean and superb job. I am very happy with the quality of work. My garage had several cracks and they were diligent enough to apply multiple layers of epoxy (they did that adhoc without any extra charges). They also helped us remove and reinstall the appliances in the garage. From a pricing perspective they gave me a great quote which was lesser than many of the other quotes we got. Clearly communicated the timeline for the project and was very responsive. Overall very happy with their work. read more

I cannot say enough good things about these guys. I wanted a quote and they were able to come out right away - and not only that they were able to come and do the job right away as well... we were blown away at the speed. Our garage hadn't been touched since the 60s and had several cracks. These guys were able to smooth everything over- even cut some pipes that were in the way and - make a beautiful floor for us. It was all done in 2 days, as promised. Competitive, timely, and responsive, I highly recommend these guys and would absolutely use them again if necessary. read more
