Since then we have made leaps and bounds of progress in a way that has worked for both me and my horse. Claire is very mindful and aware of both horse and riders needs. Her main focus is keeping the horses happy - which is imperative in a sport where these animals so graciously lend us their wings. I can't say enough good things about our lovely team. Very grateful to have finally landed at a facility where mine and my horses needs are being met.

She, and her assistants Alex Heimann and Emily Watson, are knowledgeable, passionate, enthusiastic, and kind. Every horse and rider is cared for with the utmost attention to detail. The years of dedication that these women have invested in horses is apparent at every level. I have learned more in two years of riding with FRSS than I have in the prior 40 years of owning and riding horses. I have felt like family since first walking through Claire's door - her positive approach to coaching puts even to most anxious rider at ease, and the comprehensive approach to horse care keeps every mount at their best and most comfortable. If you and/or your horse want to take your hunter/jumper skills to the next level, there is no better place to do so than Front Range Show Stables.

It was 3 of us, including my 8-year-old son, and the conditions couldn't have been better--just a little snow, some mud, and plenty of opportunities for big splashes (which my son absolutely loved). We did a 5-hour rental, which felt like the perfect amount of time to explore without feeling rushed. The equipment was in great shape, and even the truck used to haul the ATV and trailer to the trailhead was well-maintained--everything felt professional and dialed in. The team really made the experience stand out. Everyone we interacted with was fantastic, and Andrew in particular was a superstar--he handled both checkout and check-in, made everything easy, and clearly cares about making sure customers have a great time. We'll definitely be back, especially to experience the trails in full snow. Highly recommend all around.

Everyone working here was friendly, informative, knowledgeable, and provided excellent recommendations for what trail to choose. They suggested we log in to CoTrex so we had access to the off road trail, which was very helpful. They also had us scan a QR code with directions to the trail, which made the whole process very seamless. We got a side by side for 3 hours and went to Pole Hill. It was a lot of fun. The trails were great and it also had amazing views! We also saw a fox on the trail. You can tell that everyone working there loves the outdoors and that they all truly care about giving all their customers an amazing experience! Highly recommend this place!

It is well used by walking visors as well as cyclists on mountain bikes. We walked along the Meadowlark Trail, from the start point almost to the crest of the hill. We were part of a group led by a member of the Open Space Board, accompanied by a retired CU biology presser who spoke to us about the wild flowers we were seeing. It was a bit warm and windy today and near the end of the spring native flower season. It was quite dry already. If you want to in a self guided way, I would suggest several weeks earlier. Though if you go too early there will be mud, I learned from some locals. Share the trail , there are plenty of bikes and they were all courteous riders and we stepped aside for them too. A very nice place to visit. The trailhead has a bathroom facility and also serves the Coalton Trail which runs both east and west from the trailhead. It is clearly marked at the traffic circle on McCaslin.

At this location you will find a parking lot, a small pavilion, and a restroom. A primitive dirt and gravel trail starts here and traverses through many open fields and has a easy to medium difficulty level depending on your fitness level. The Coalton trail also connects with many other trails that lead to more rough and rocky terrain that heads down to Boulder. This is popular with hikers and mountain bikers.
