Average experience. Restaurant was dead at 8pm. Which made us a little nervous (we'd just had a bad experience the night before at another restaurant). But we sat down. Server came over within 10 minutes. We tried to order an appetizer and they were all out of it. We just about left at this point but stuck it out. We got a pizza and my mom got a chicken and cheese quesadilla. The pizza was good. The crust was a little doughy for me, could've used a couple more minutes of cooking. Chicken on the pizza was rubbery, but otherwise was a delicious pizza!! The chicken quesadilla was also delicious. Next time, let people know it's buffalo chicken though. Some people with sensitive pallets don't necessarily want the spice of the buffalo and Monterey Jack cheeses. Overall, pretty good food and decent service. We never saw our server sitting, but saw a couple other servers sitting and chatting while they had tables. If they were on the other side of the plaza, I'm sure they'd have better business. read more

We ordered chicken tenders for our son and they were completely raw. Praying he does not get sick. They replaced his food which is why I am giving 2 stars but didn't seemed alarmed at all by serving raw chicken. Just ok. My coconut shrimp were cooked well and had good flavor, but my husband got the Santa Fe flatbread and it was literally flavorless. We were so bummed. I thought the chicken and avocado would at least save it, but no such luck. The kids meal pizza was your basic pizza, and had good flavor, but we just couldn't get past the flavorless Santa Fe. Probably wouldn't visit again, even though we plan to visit Hilton Head again. I really wanted to love it here! I will say, our server was very nice, and accommodated us well, even moving us to a breezier, more shaded outdoor table, so the service is good, it's just the food that could use some improvement. read more

Enjoyed a late lunch here after getting off Coligny Beach. We sat at the bar and the bartender (seemed like the owner or manager) was very attentive. Greek salad was very fresh and tasty. The food was really good. We ordered the Bruschetta Flatbread, which was made on a flatbread with melted cheese, tomatoes and herbs. This was really good and it was a twist to traditional bruschetta. Next we ordered a flatbread pizza, the pizza we ordered was Vegetariana. The pizza was topped with Grilled zucchini, red bell pepper, white mushrooms, artichoke hearts & fresh basil, mozzarella, parmesan cheese and red sauce. The pizza was really good and they didn't put too many veggies. The pizza had a lot of flavor and I would recommend this place if you're in Hilton Head. No hostess onced seated the waitress was very rude when wife asked question on what was popular. Told she would be back. Never showed back up. Got up and left. Great lunch spot. Cool and inviting inside after a hot morning by the pool. My husband and I shared a burger and each had a side Cesar salad. Overall, everything was great. We stopped and had a lite lunch at the beach. Nice patio watched squirrels playing in pine trees jumping from one too the other didn't need anything else. We had the crab and shrimp cheese enchiladas with a little leafy salad out tasted great with the sweet salsa. read more

Got a medium meat lovers pizza to go. For $20 this was by far just an average pizza. Establishment looked very nice and clean.

First place we ate at in Hilton Head and we loved it! We sat outside where there was great entertainment! Really enjoyed the location. Rip off, buyer beware. Went there for happy hrwas seated near bar and saw the happy hour menu, ordered happy hour apps only to be billed full price because we weren't sitting in a happy hr seat. We've had 2 really good experiences at the bar while vacationing in Hilton Head! We came once for just drinks and another for food and drinks. Both times we had Alex and he was really good! The pizza was awesome (I got a plain with the white garlic sauce) and my boyfriend got the shrimp and crab quesidilla. Definitely happy with Flatbread and love their food and drinks! read more

Our waitress was very kind, ​but the food was average. There was no flavor to the Shrimp and Crabmeat Quesadillas or the Hot Crap dip. We came to the restaurant because my mom wanted the Shrimp and Crab chowder which they were already out of by 7 pm when we got there. The only good thing was the Mud Pie dessert that we got in an attempt to please our pallets. Wife and I were pleasantly surprised to find this new restaurant at Coligny Plaza. The food was very fresh, very good and plentiful. Had lunch here 3 times in 6 days... The service is the reason for this rating. Very slow. Too slow. And after waiting too long to have our order taken, the server said, "I'm going to try to put in your order I'm a few minutes.... we're in the middle of our rush." And I'm thinking.... yeah, that normally happens during dinner...and you should be prepared for that. Also, the service at the outside bar was ridiculously slow, too. Flatbread is a good restaurant with good food. The food is good but it definitely isn't anything special. They do have good pizzas that are different than most, but those are expensive. Their beers always come out flat and the atmosphere is dark. The food is just about average, but if you are looking for some quick grub and don't care about splurging on average food, this is a decent place to do it. read more
