You'd be hard pressed to not think that the Flat Tire Diner has been around for 50 years with the vibe it was putting out. It had energy of a long standing family establishment but has been around for 6ish years! They've done something right with hiring amazing welcoming staff to filling the menu with amazing diner esq grub! Hands down the crunch French toast is a must order that crispy hard exterior of corn flakes and the soft interior is the perfect balance and this will be the only French toast I'll ever order!! The fresh made bread and pastry onsite is also a welcoming addition, if I was local this is where I'd get my sliced loafs weekly!

It's my Birthday Weekend So the hubs brought me for breakfast at this new place and I'm so glad we chose it!! It was packed , I thought we'd have to wait forever but we didn't and boy was I hungry! I chose the crispy French toast, YUUUUUMMMMMM!!! It was absolutely fantastic, with the strawberry's and bananas! Omg!! So good!! Anyway, this place is great , ambience was good, packed but now loud! Service was excellent! Our server was attentive, thank you, Mr Willy, you did great! We will be back and definitely will recommend!!

Classic breakfast food executed perfectly. The chicken fried steak is the best in the area. It is fresh and not frozen. Baked items are fresh and delicious.

Love this old school diner! Food was great, very comforting. Even there was a bit of a wait on Sunday, we did it wait that long to get our food.

Can you say pork chops and eggs, but with a twist, and at a diner in a strip mall? I was not expecting to get the brunch/launch experience that I did, but I am so glad we tried this place out. From the outside, you would never think that you're going to get such a great experience inside. They've got a full service bakery as well. We will definitely come back and bring the little ones for treats next time. Great service, great ambience!

The 2-egg veggie omelette was excellent! Hash browns were very tasty, as well! My friend had Eggs Benedict and enjoyed it! Our server was very attentive and kept our coffee cups topped off! It has a true diner vibe!

Sunday morning, we popped in for a last minute breakfast and were readily seated for a table of 2. The service was prompt and super sweet. They had a very large menu which offered a variety of dietary accommodations. I ordered pancakes and a crab cake which both were great/large/tasty portions. Our coffee cup was never less than half full! Looking around the diner, they have very endearing decor, all staff were smiling and working hard. There didn't appear to be any grumpy or underserved tables (even in the midst of a Sunday morning rush). Local great spot - highly recommend for an easy, delicious, and financially sound meal. We look forward to coming back.

One of the best finds for breakfast I have ever eaten at. This is just a "simple" diner - with a very large desert case, tables stacked on top of each other, busy every single time we have been there - but people don't care because of how amazing this place is. There isn't much room to wait inside but there are a couple of chairs there. Me and my friend didn't have to wait for more than ten minutes. Classic diner food but everything is fresh. Service is great. Coffee keeps coming. The pancakes are absolutely delicious, definitely get some! It's not a frilly or hipster breakfast place - the plates are cheap and the food top tier. Check it out!

Flat Tire has been on my "want to try" list for a while but I don't make it to the area often and rarely around breakfast/brunch time. While my dad was visiting we decided to make the trip. We were quickly seated upon arriving. The menu options all sounded so good, it was hard to make a choice! I settled on the chili cheese omelet and upgraded by bread to a cinnamon roll. My dad went with the crunch French toast. The cinnamon roll arrived first (which my waitress offered to have arrive first). The frosting was great and the flavor was delicious. It was a little more dry than I prefer, but it was still great! The chili cheese omelette featured a very fluffy omelette, melted cheese inside, and topped with more cheese outside. The chili was fantastic! It has shredded beef, beans but not too many, and a wonderful deep flavor that was well seasoned and a hint of spice. The hashbrowns were perfectly cooked as well, but I do wish they have a little salt and pepper on them when prepping them. The crunchy French toast really lived up to its name! The homemade bread was soft, the crunch coating outside fully covered the bread and added a delicious crunchy element, and the fruit and syrup were great additions! The space itself is well laid out, comfortable, and has a solid diner feel. The staff was all really nice and attentive! I cannot wait to visit again!

Delicious classic diner food served with the friendliest servers - and amazing baked goods from scratch. Don't sleep on their jumbo old fashioned Peanut Butter Cookie!

I tried to swing by around ten minutes to noon, but it was a disaster. There were heaps of people waiting outside, and it didn't look promising. I went to the hostess stand and asked the guy if I could get a table for one, and he said, "Oh, you can sit at the bar; it's open seating. There's one open seat right there!" So, I walked through and was approached by another worker who asked me what I was doing. I told her the guy said I could sit at the bar, and there was an open seat, even though I never saw one. I did see open seats outside at the bar, though. The bar has two sides, one outside and one inside. It seemed alright; it wasn't too hot or humid, so I went. There were dirty dishes all over the place, and I sat down. Another worker asked me, "Are these dishes yours?" Which seemed a bit strange because the guy works the bar and wouldn't he have known the person sitting there before me left them? Anyway, I said no, and he cleared them. I then waited about 5 minutes before another worker skillfully wiped the bar of debris and then got three menus and three sets of silverware (two more guys sat down next to me) and asked me if I wanted water. I said, "Yes, please." She went off, and then shortly after, I saw the same guy come with a menu and a set of silverware and a water. Thumbs up for the water but thumb down for the slowness. I saw the menu and was torn between pancakes and biscuits. I didn't really want anything heavy, so I got the biscuits and gravy but added an egg. I also got a coffee. The wait time for the food was super quick, and the food was really good. The biscuits are small, and they're okay. The egg was good, but it's kinda hard to mess up an egg. I saw the food the people sitting next to me got, and it looked amazing! Pancakes, etc. Overall, the service was pretty bad, but the food was good. I saw no sense of urgency in the workers when they were obviously swamped. I might come when it's not so busy next time. Side note, maybe I'm showing my age, but the price of regular drip coffee was a bit steep. ($4).

We were greeted as soon as we arrived and led to our table. Our server showed up almost immediately for our drink orders which she returned with promptly. The menu has something for everyone and is challenging when you go in hungry as it all looks and sounds good. We had the calamari appetizer which was very good along with a tenderloin meatloaf special that had amazing flavor and texture. I'm not normally a meatloaf person, but this sounded interesting and met all expectations. We found room for dessert and it was outstanding as well. All in all, I would recommend this place to anyone looking for an enjoyable and reasonably priced for the quality/ quantity meal. Overall, for the two of us our bill was $130 for 2 drinks each, an appetizer, a salad, a split meal and a dessert. Try it, I don't think you'll be disappointed!@

Today I had a server with green hair--she never introduced herself: she's the server with the green hair. This server decided to ignore our table and talk to another table at length about Ireland, Scotland, her fiancé, etc. I had to wait approximately 15 minutes for my drink, which was in part due to the fact that she neglected us. I sat there with my hand raised as if I was in elementary school: the man who cleared away dishes looked at me sympathetically and other servers glanced at her and shook their heads as if this was commonplace for her. When I finally had to audibly say, "Excuse me", she acted as if doing her job was an inconvenience: the eye roll was inappropriate and rude, seeing as how I had to wait for so long. This happened again when we needed sweet tea refills. We were going to order more food to go, but the service made us want to leave: terrible service affects the restaurant's bottom line. I certainly hope this will never happen again and that I can continue to spend money at Darfon's. If not, I don't mind traveling elsewhere.
