I live at Richmond Terrace and had a furnace/air conditioner replaced by Bob's Heating. This was a…read more$7000-$8000 installation. Afterwards, I had concerns about how to properly clean the grate, as there was no accessible panel. A representative from Bob's confirmed that the grates are not removable and advised using a product called Nu-Calgon Evap Foam No Rinse to clean the condensing coil. Earlier this year, Matthew's Heating & Cooling inspected and cleaned my furnace. They determined that the condensate drain had not been installed in a workmanlike manner and strongly advised against using the cleaning product mentioned above (see attached report). To date, we have identified at least two furnaces that experienced this same issue. I scheduled a meeting with the condo board president and a representative from Bob's Heating. No one from Bob's showed up for the meeting. I would urge any resident living at Richmond Terrace to use another vendor when replacing their furnace.

With multiple techs coming into our house. Not super respectful of our time. They quoted that we needed all new duct work for thousands of dollars, which, fine, thank you for the info but we don't have 20K to get all new ducts. The problem: They took out our old filter in our furnace and threw it away. Forgot to let us know that, so we just were running it with no filter for 10+ days, which is pretty bad for the unit and our air quality throughout the home. It's also potentially a safety hazard to not have a filter...seems odd for a company that specializes in this to leave our unit worse off seeing as they came to "tune it up".

He called when he got to our tenant's place and called again when he left so I know generally when they were in and out. A voice mail would actually be appreciated since I normally don't pick up numbers I don't know (but now I have his number saved for future references!) Our tenant's bathroom fan was not working, most of the face plates were either broken or popped out, and one of the smoke alarm was not working anymore. We originally bought some supplies for him so that he can use them but because we got the wrong supplies, he willingly went and bought the supplies to fix all of the above. Of course, we were charged accordingly. Kyle followed through to see if we needed another electrical aspect fixed (but we refused for the time being). Eventually, my husband and I got a chance to check out his (and his apprentice's) work and it looked very good. I'm surprised they don't have more reviews, but Kyle does good work and I definitely recommend him. They are in Neenah but serviced the Menasha area too. I will definitely keep them in mind for future work!

Customer Review - 2022…read more Christensen & Wisnet, Inc. - The Good Guys Heating and Air Conditioning 4450 W Greenville Dr Appleton WI 54913 https://goodguyswi.com (920) 734-1436 In May 2022 my air condition from the early 1990s was no longer going to work and I knew the original 1950s furnace and 12-year-old water heater need to be replaced. I was very unhappy with our old service company. I research the best rated Heating and Cooling companies and called the top 4 companies. Anthony from the Good Guys was the only one to get back to me within a week to give me an estimate, he was there the next day! After getting the other 3 estimates his estimate was still the best for price, quality, and the service they would provide. They were also the only company that would get my new system installed in June! Homes come with all sorts of Heating and Cooling systems, and they date back to all sorts of dates. The Good Guy team knew how to assess my old system and were able to find the best products and installation for me. In fact, they first solved a duct work installation issue by worked with most the old duct work avoiding extra costs. Later when it was time to install my new heating system Anthony called be back with a better more energy efficient heating product saving me a few thousand dollars and also giving me a $500. Rebate! I must say what I was most impressed with was the service of the whole team. I loved working with them, they are the best service team I have ever had in my home! Each member of the team was great! They are very prompt, friendly, knowledgeable, experienced and the results have been fantastic - everything works well. It I ever have a question, need a follow up or just need someone who listens and finds a solution for me they are there, always with friendly professional service. Use them! Cheers! We had them out last year for a tune up with no issues, but this year when they came out they charged us an extra $50 for a "trip charge" after the service was done that no one told us about prior. I called and asked why I was getting this and they told me "every other heating company charges this now" but I called around and none of the other local companies do. The other issue I had was that they came out for the tune up on 12/15 and our payment didn't pull from our debit card until 2/2. When I called to ask why they didn't pull the payment for 6 weeks the guy blamed it on our debit card which is false. Someone there messed up and didn't run the payment right away. I would probably still use them if there had been any sort of apology for not telling us about the trip charge and waiting so long to run the payment but the guy I spoke to just kept trying to pass the blame and didn't offer any sort of apology.
