(7th streets weighs 7.4 oz) This burger took me back to the ethos of what a burger is. An honest simplicity of quality beef, a good bun, and a few humble toppings that come together into something greater than the sum of its parts. Final score is an 8.8/10. The fries are double fried in beef tallow, but they were honestly too well done for my personal taste. Loaded fries went CRAZY though. BUT that makes this place more than eligible for me to review in 2026, and I still had the pictures of the food here from my 2025 visit, so you may see some pictures where the same food makes more than one appearance. So a little about DuMont Burger. It's a very small burger place, and you can easily miss it if you don't know what you're looking for. I wouldn't recommend say bringing your entire extended family of 85 over, but it's a great place to come if you're either by yourself or just one friend. Both visits I sat at the bar, and both times I was greeted immediately upon seating myself. The bartender/waitress is very friendly and checks up while I eat/drink. Bathroom is for Customers Only and is quite small, but if you need to go you can latch the door shut to enjoy some privacy. There's a few chairs to sit at if you don't want to eat at the bar, but I love the bar seating here which I why I chose the bar on both visits.
