Needed help asap unblocking kitchen sink. Totally stopped, tried 2 bottles of Drano max gel, and Green Gobbler. No move. Had handyman try with his snake. Couldn't do it. I called on a Friday for a non-emergency fix, and he came on Saturday. 2) Reasonable prices. Another plumber told me to replace the toilet. When I called for an appointment, I also asked about a visit fee (charged if contractors come to give a quote but not fix anything). I second all of the other comments and five-star reviews. I found out Friday afternoon that the kitchen sink had completely backed up, and we had relatives coming in a few hours. I tried pushing through the clog with the garbage disposal to no avail, and also removed the P-trap just in case the problem was right there. At that point I began calling plumbers with good reviews. Oscar took my call and told me he'd be there in 45 minutes, which he was. He spent a few moments to understand the problem and any related plumbing that might be affecting it, all very professionally, and then told me how much the service would cost. After the dreaded ceiling leak, I quickly skimmed reviews on Yelp and Nextdoor and noticed that Flash Plumbing had consistently high reviews and a good number of recommendations. I called when Oscar was on another job, and after taking in some information on the leak and ceiling status, and a few assurances from me that I could wait until later in the day, I texted him with my details so he could get back to his other job and get back to me later. I had expected an afternoon visit, but he was able to get back to me sooner than I thought and he quickly diagnosed the problem and let me know exactly what needed to be done and how much it would cost. His prices were very reasonable and I was impressed that he also noticed other minor plumbing issues which he assured me wouldn't take long to remediate. At no point did I feel like he was trying to tell me to fix them or upsell his own services so much as he wanted to let me know they were there and might be problematic in the future. After he made sure that my emergency wasn't one, we arranged an appointment for later the same day.
