A perfectly sized salad to start followed by an authentic pizza that I would return to again in a heartbeat. We finished with gelato over berries. The meal was absolutely right sized. Neither of us left hungry, nor did we feel stuffed. If you like authentic woodfired pizza, a welcoming Iowa farm atmosphere, and a small restaurant vibe that simply makes you feel at home; all at a very reasonable price, this is your place. Food? Service? Ambience? This place has it all.

The menu is in a 3-ring binder of info inside the cabin. We ordered a 14" Six Shooter (supreme) to go which included beef, Italian sausage, pepperoni, mushroom, onion, and black olive. It was not too far outside the park entrance and easy to find. It was perfect for dinner and lunch the next day. My spouse is always leery of too much black olives but it was just the right amount. He said it was a really cute place inside and the staff was friendly. It was a thin crust and crispy not soggy. I would definitely look forward to doing this again next time we visit. They are open 11-2 and again from 4:30 - 8:30. Sometimes in between but no guarantees. They also have salads, appetizers, and ice cream.

I did not get photos of the food this time because by the time we got our food it was about an hour after getting there (we were there 10 mins after they opened). The side salad was luke warm and the lettuce was welted. I would not order the side salad again. The amount of bacon bits on was very over powering so much I couldn't even finish it. Then they forgot my kids chicken strips and we were almost done before they brought them out, Ridiculous! Then when the bill came out they charged $3.50 for a soda that was included with a kids meal because "well we gave her a bigger size". Thats great I didn't ask you too. She still drank the same amount whether it was in a big glass or kids cup. They did take it off the bill which was nice. Then after paying the bill and got back to our friend's house we noticed they charged us for their appetizer, I should have done better checking over the bill so that was my fault I didn't check it better. After an hour and a half sitting there I was just ready to leave. Safe to say this place is delicious Philly Cheese steaks but the wait staff is hit or miss.
