The one thing we were surprised with was - being charged for keychup when we ordered a side order of onion rings ? and also being charged for mayonnaise. I asked if the sauce for the Aji tuna was spicy and she said it was a little bit. I asked if I could have mayonnaise as well. I was surprised to see a charge on the bill, although it was nominal it was still something we had never been charged before.

A nice place. Service was some of the best I've ever had. Food was solid, but not the best. I will…read moresay that I think it is as good as I expected it to be, but I always hope it'll be better thus I am not leaving a 5-star review. Fried pickles spears with the rock n roll sauce were great. I wouldn't have ordered these except my server recommended them out of all the apps, so I went with that. Fried things at places like this usually lack flavor and are just salty, fried bar food. These had some kick. The rock n roll sauce was like a Mayo with Frito's Chili Cheese Twists, so they were yummy. Tilapia on wild rice was ok, but it's tilapia, so how amazing can it be, right? Broccoli wasn't too over cooked and it still had a healthy green color, so I was happy with that. And the fries were a tad greasy, but they came out hot and crunchy. I think if they let the oil drain off them a bit more under a heat lamp, they'd hold their crispness a bit longer. Oh, and it was an entire plate of fries, so portions were generous. Lastly, everything was served very quickly. The place wasn't super-busy, but it wasn't dead and I was happy about the timeliness. I ordered an app first then placed an order for my entree after munching on that. And I was out done in 45 minutes. Granted, I was eating alone, but still. If you enjoy meat, I highly recommend giving this place a shot. I am a pescatarian (mostly vegetarian) and I have a sneaking suspicion that their beef and chicken options have much more developed flavors.

It's an older building so it's a little run down but that does not detract from the amazing food. Everything came out fresh and piping hot and I mean Hot! It literally just came off the stove. They have a sign that says "this is not a fast food restaurant, everything is cooked to order so please be patient". It did take some time but it was well worth the wait. We really enjoyed the fresh bread that was brought to the table to start with, the olive oil on the table to dip the bread in was a nice surprise. My wife ordered the cheese ravioli and the sauce was creamy with the right about of spice. The cheese instead the ravioli was smooth and creamy. Delicious! I used the bread to soak up the rest of the sauce after my wife was done, ha. I ordered the Pollo Marsala and the sauce was delicious, I normally like a thicker sauce but was very good, the mushrooms were fresh and not over cooked so it was great and added a nice flavor to the dish, the three chicken breasts we're nice sized was juicy when I cut into them. The only complaint I had was the noodles were under cooked. That was actually the complaint from my daughter who ordered the fettuccini Alfredo without the peas. I would say it was a pleasant experience and I would definitely go back. I would try the spaghetti and meatballs or the ravioli next time. If you are in the area and in the mood for Italian food I would pop in and try it out!

I got a bottle of cider, and a steak sandwich. The steak was good quality. The sweet potato fries were quite good and the coleslaw was excellent. It was nice to see a slightly wider choice of sides and entrees than the typical small town bar. Here's my gripes. The first bartender didn't even know they sold cider (in bottles). My biggest gripe is the sandwich. Although the steak was good, it was one piece. One, over-sized, piece on a bun. There was no way to pick it up to eat it, so I had to cut it up and eat it open-face style. Every steak sandwich I have had in my life (except for a ribeye sandwich) has been slices of beef, so you could, you know, bite into it and take just a bite worth. Other than a racist regular next to me, it was good meal. 3.5*. Would go again and get a different entree, and maybe avoid Friday nights.
