Make sure to take advantage of their wings Wednesday, it is a great value for some delicious wings! Also, recently I tried their famous Reuben pizza and it was incredible! In addition to their delicious food, the service is pretty incredible. They can get busy at times but the servers do well to stay on top of it. It's certainly one of those multi generation family owned sports bars that focuses on quality service and quality food. Rather than other frills the walls are adorned with local sports team memorabilia and photos of those that have visited the restaurant. We went on cold Monday afternoon. It was nice and warm inside and we were warmly greeted. We decided to try the wings, and we were so glad we did. They were extra crispy with just the right amount and of sauce. Wow! We both commented that they were the best wings we have had. We also tried the cheeseburger pizza. The crust was nice and crispy, lots of cheese, pickles, onions and hamburger. Overall very tasty. Our waitress was very friendly and gave excellent service. This place is not fancy, just great food, service and price. We will be back. read more

Pizza was good , the service is still poor. Things have gone downhill over the last year or so. But they have a bunch of TVs on.

I'll start first with the atmosphere. I was thinking it was like a family friendly bar n grill type. Immediately when I sat down I could hear a guy talking as loud as he could about how rich he was and he's never been in debt a day in his life as if everyone should hear how to become rich from the local drunk. I think bar area should be placed somewhere away from the video games just saying. Now the food. I'm not sure what type of other wings the locals have been eating but these wings are standard all across the United States. The pizza is extra greasy, which I'm sure has to do with the type/s of cheese used. To be completely honest I find that it is exactly like the Tony's frozen pizza. Service was consistent. Food: Always really good. I love their wings, especially their new honey mustard wings. Pizza is good. I just hate they give you stupid little packets of ranch if you ever want ranch. It's weird. Not a gas station! Rest Rooms: Gross. Try to hold it. Drinks: Kinda 'small' for my taste, but cheap. So a catch 22 there. Decor: The local sports stuff is really cool to look at. Game Day: TERRIBLE TV's. Don't come here to watch a game. Has a 'game room' for the kiddos. And with that in mind...kids LITERALLY run all over the place. All the time. Awesome for groups. Asked my AirBnB host for a recommendation on a good local pizza place and he was not wrong. The service here is outstanding and my pizza was perfectly cooked with lots of flavor. And it looks like a very fun bar. Lots of TVs with sports, happy laughing people, pretty packed. So you know it's popular. The food is great, service also. If you are bringing family members with children it is best to sit towards the back near the children's play area. We have been going for years and rarely go anywhere else. The lunches and dinners are reasonably priced. Taco Tuesday and Friday's cod fish dinner or prime rib is excellent. For lunch, we order their great sandwiches. We order the onion rings all the time. We bring all family members who live out of town to Bob Roe's. We have gone so many times the servers remember us and know what we usually eat. Jeramy is the Best Cook and he has stated many times, that it's because of his staff. To me the best buffalo wings EVER!!!!!. Hands down, The sauce is hit the spot. But just as great was the crispness of the wings. It was perfection. This is the only wing that are worth eating bone in.. I only eat boneless wings because I don't think it's worth wasting my time fighting for the meat off the bone. Pizza was good. The place is just great. The staff is awesome. Our server did a great job. Checked on us as needed. I collect sports memorabilia and so sitting there and seeing what's on the walls was greatness. Old pics with autographs from baseball, football to golf. This is a must if you are visiting Sioux city Iowa. I don't do good reviews this long only bad one. It's a neat little joint almost like a old VFW Club. You could tell there was some history. We had drinks, potato skins, and buffalo wings. We had a fantastic waiter! He came several times and asked if we needed anything. The service was very fast. We did ask if the wings could be crispy they came out very soggy is the only reason I put four stars. Their claim to fame is their pizza and wings. It's a bar, it's bar food, but I don't think it is very good bar food. First Friday of Lent and they ran out of the fish special. Not Catholic, not a huge deal. But it might have been to someone else. What irritated me about it was that I was made aware of this 15 minutes after I had placed my order. So, at that point I ordered something else and waited another 45 minutes for my food. Had wings and a side salad. Wings were pretty skimpy and the side salad was loaded down with bacon and cheese. They have a lot of awesome arcade games, including Crazy Taxi and claw machines for prizes and The Flintstones pinball machine, and all the games work great. I love this place! When I moved to town, I was so excited when I realized I lived within walking distance. It is one of the few places in town to get true buffalo-style wings. Yes, the pizza is pretty greasy, but a simple napkin takes care of that. I apologize to anyone that was never told pop isn't free refills. I've been told every time I've gone there. Beer is cheap though for those of age. The fried chicken and cheese balls are still some of my favorites! We ordered the pepperoni pizza here and it was covered three layers thick with pepperoni. The top pepperoni was crispy and delicious but the ones under were greasy and I ended up taking them off. Well, I guess I need to update a little bit. Most of the time the food and service are great but 2 out of the last three times I've been here and asked for the wings to be well done and crispy, there is one cook who decides to be a smart-ass and send them out with the sauce on the side. Nobody else has a problem cooking them well done without being a jerk. This time, I didn't even say anything, my SERVER told the cook they weren't well done enough and she still sent them out naked, just being an ass. Had a little get together for lunch here on Saturday. First I want to say the food was very good!! But, the service was completely terrible! The lady the was our server was either intoxicated or under the influence of drugs! She was terrible never checking on us after she took our order and when we asked for our check and she just dropped it on the table and walked away.
