The service was impeccable and so was the ambience. Our dessert was some type of banana pudding made with real Krispy Kreme doughnuts and it was epic. There are huge televisions everywhere so you can catch any game you are trying to watch. We will definitely be dining here often.

Very proper, very well spoken. Business talking personality. Trying to take care of us and deliver on our as to put add-ON on our food. Brother Chris said something along the lines of ,"my friend I was absolutely love to but I'm in a place where my dad the gm Joe, doesn't want accommodating to every ad-ON because he believes it puts more stress on cooks." Something along those lines. And I was like what? The manager of the place Joe can't tell him cooks to stop being lazy? Cmon man. I have worked in a kitchen a long time before real estate here in Miami, and man, what type of manager of a food place is this. The service from Chris was better than the food cooks made anyway..... Won't be coming here again. Sad to see good people like this young man hustling for a business that doesn't even align with little customer accommodations . Don't suggest.

The fries were barely luke warm. Not a problem, I was brought a new batch that were very hot. This was my first time at this location. I had a gift card to use so I have been on a Duffy's kick. I also love buffalo wings and I sae a sign they are $1 each on Wednesdays. I might try that next time. The Fifa soccer game was on and the energy qas great. Right before an important moment in the match, management decided to switch the TVs and audio from the World Cup to the McGregor fight. Many of us asked them to please keep the World Cup on. This wasn't just any soccer game--it happens only once every four years, and with Messi nearing the end of his international career, many fans wanted to experience what could be one of his last major tournaments. Instead, we missed Argentina scoring because we were watching McGregor make his long walk to the cage, only for the fight to end almost immediately. It was incredibly disappointing. What made the experience worse was that the manager didn't seem to care or even apologize after multiple customers expressed their frustration. The food and drinks were genuinely good, but because of how this situation was handled, I won't be coming back to watch sporting events here. I'll find another place that values its customers and understands the importance of major international events.

The vibe is always fun and relaxed, they've got awesome beer selections, and their karaoke and bingo nights make it even better. My absolute favorite pizza is the Tight End -- house sauce, mozzarella, chopped pepperoni, finished with a swirl of pesto and hot honey. The sweet and spicy combo is unreal. It's seriously the best! If you haven't been yet, you're missing out!

Of all the pizza places in Miami, this one is the closest to my house. It would really have been a…read morehome run if it was my favorite, but sadly it did not make it. Not that the pizza isn't good; it just isn't great. And it is not because of the ingredients as they all tasted fresh and delicious. It is the preparation. Now let me set some foundation here. I have lived in Rhode Island where pizza is a staple. I have lived in New York and Connecticut, which, despite being neighboring states have entirely different ideas of what the perfect pizza is, and I had the good fortune of the best of both. I have lived in Massachusetts we're outside of the north end of Boston pizza is largely very mediocre and I give all this information just to tell you that I have an established standard for pizza that may differ from other peoples. My favorites come out of coal fired brick ovens. So I was pretty excited about trying Strange Beast. They use a gas fired pizza oven that reaches the same temperatures as the ones to make apizza but they make a Neapolitan pie which traditionally has a soft center whereas Apizza is baked longer to achieve a sturdy, crispy crunch. And this is the part that disappoints me. That soft center does not hold the toppings well and makes the pizza droop when you pick it up. Much like the New York pizza that you have to fold over to keep the toppings from falling off, this pizza just did not have that firmness that I love so much. And on this evening when I ordered the Swamp Thing (Mozzarella, Ricotta, Red Onion, Cherry Tomatoes, Pesto) the center actually seemed raw. Somehow, despite having all my favorite flavors, it looked beautiful on the pan, but flopped over and lost its appeal when it was picked up the flavors all in all were pretty good. The restaurant itself has a pretty cool vibe and the servers were superb. In addition to grieving great service, they were friendly and engaging. This is kind of a highlight of the restaurant. This review is based on a single experience and I will probably try it again. I may ask them to cook the pizza well done to see if it comes closer to what I like. I can't give it my highest recommendation, but I would never give it less than four stars based on even the service alone. So I will be back again an update this sometime soon.
