I'm seriously done with this place. We placed an order for pick up and there was a $7.85 "To go" fee placed on our food. We ordered 50 wings, a chicken salad, and 2 orders of fries (that were undercooked and under seasoned. Also there were barely any fries in the containers). This came out to $104 after my wife graciously tipped $15 on top of the to go fee. Lesson learned. You guys will never see another dime from us. There are so many better options for wings down here. We have gone to Flanigan's for a long time, but this Flanigan's in Kendall is poorly run. I went with my friends to dinner and we were a large party. A party of 8. The food was taking long to get out and when the food came out, my friend found a bug on her burger. Upon our inspection it looked like a baby roach. The waitress, Dani called the manager. A manager named Dainetys (misspelled) said that the bug was a big ant and for the inconvenience she would provide a different meal at Flanigan's expense. My friend lost her appetite and kindly declined. Understandably so. Our party barely wanted to eat and we were all pretty much inspecting our own plates. We even had to get our own ketchup, napkins from the bar and ask another waiter for utensils. When we got the bill, they provided us 10%, which does not equate to the amount of the burger that was provided by the general manager. If you do the math, 10% is $4.00. To add insult to injury, they added my friend's burger on her bill. A burger that she did not eat. Any other restaurant would have taken off the bill. After speaking with several mangers with the last manager named, Stephanie, they had no understanding and lacked common sense. They left my friend's burger that she did not eat and took 10% off her burger. We requested to speak to the first manager, Dainetys that was reasonable and accommodating and even apologized for what happened, but we were advised she had left for the day. After requesting to speak to a manger. Stephanie kept coming out to speak with us. Stephanie is unprofessional, and had a look as she didn't even wanted to deal with us. She is in dire need of management and customer service training and how to better interact with customers. We also waited an unreasonable amount of time to get our bill with no resolution. They even called security to subtly escort out as we were leaving despite not being in any way physically or verbally threatening. If I could give this Flannigans ZERO stars, I would! Flannigans was being cheap and has lost 8 customers for life!! Note to Flaningans corporate: Keep a close eye on those employees you promote to manager and those employees hired at the management level. The management team at the Kendall establishment needs severe training. I'm reading several Yelp reviews, I see lots of 1 stars and most circulating on management. Red flag in my book! read more

I've yet to visit a Flanigan's where the food, service, and atmosphere are not extremely consistent. My typical go-tos are the ribs (best anywhere, as is their coleslaw), pasta Caesar w blackened mahi-mahi, wings, & nachos. Every time I go, the food is spot on and the service is fun and friendly. This Kendall location is no exception and glad it's my new local spot. Oh, and one of the BEST things there..... their BBQ sauce!!! I was going to order to go tonight, but I went elsewhere. Why, might you ask? They wanted nearly $4 in service fees (10%) for 1 appetizer and 1 entree, and that fee does not go to the person who prepared my order, it goes straight into the owner's pocket. $4 may not be that much money, but of course I always tip a little on to go (not 18-20%+ like dine in, but I leave 10% or a couple dollars, whichever is more). While I abhor service fees that don't go to the driver, I don't complain about the fee + tip for delivery - that's an additional service being provided. Someone told me the additional charge is for boxes/to go supplies, but that doesn't explain a 10% fee. I love the food, the rockin rib rolls are amazing and they have some of the best ribs in South Florida. But I'm only doing dine in here, and not often. read more

I want to start off by saying that this place is one of our favorite restaurants in the neighborhood. Today it was still no different. We entered the restaurant somewhere around 3 PM and waited approximately 20 minutes to get our table which was a hightop by the bar. Our server was the bartender. Her name was Christi. She was fantastic. However, my main complaint is that we did order the nachos. I have included a photo of the description of the plate. We received anything but loaded nachos. Everything that we were given including the guacamole and The pico de gallo were placed on the side of the plate. There is nothing loaded about this plate. Also, the nachos were burnt. We also ordered the potato skins and those were fantastic. One item that you can never go wrong by ordering at this place, the ribs. No one does ribs better. But then again, you all know this! . But, if you're looking for a really good plate of nachos, this is definitely not the place to order them. Our nachos were dry and they were definitely not loaded. The restaurant was nicely decorated for the St. Patrick's holiday. All the way to staff was dressed in green. And they were all very pleasant and accommodating. I was pleasantly surprised that Flannigans at Kendall was complying with the CDC guidelines. My friends and I came after a day at the beach. I went up to the hostess and requested a table and just as before my contact number was requested but was informed that I would need to wait in my car. Once I received my text that my table was ready, I was seated in a new kind of outdoor side seating area between the Flannigans location and their liquor store next door. The seatings were six feet apart with fans for cooling and fake grass to give it a backyard feel. I actually liked the set up. The other seatings are next to the street, looks close to the street but I have not experienced it yet to review or comment. Our waiter Willow was friendly and attentive, the margaritas refreshing and delicious. Aside from the fries, we had also ordered dolphin Caesar salad but I was too hungry to take a moment and take a picture. Just left this place. Let me start with saying this, the vibe was infectious. However, the ribs are substandard for baby backs. I had a bar tender by the name of Astrid and she was nice initially. When we got our bill there was a few incorrect charges. When they were brought up to her after she charged me for celery and carrots that I didn't ask for she responded you ate them. She also lied about the deals flannigans had which resulted in up charges not disclosed to me directly. Was accused of something by a server that happened a month prior and when managers approached us they continuously insisted that they were right... which they were not.
