They always have daily specials on food and drinks and the atmosphere is usually lively. Plenty of menu options to choose from and you get a Flannigan's cup with any purchase of soda or iced tea! It is mainly bar style food, and the ribs and burgers are my favorite. In the mood for a salad, try the pasta Cesar! You can add a protein to it as well! Tired of dealing with the belligerent drunks at the bar that the staff do nothing about!?!? Especially when manager tells you its not the bartender's job to manage the bar patrons and unless you track them down in the crowds, its your fault even though I told hostesses to get a belligerent drunk who was harassing me "tossed". I was able to call the liquor store to get them to get a manager for me on the phone and managers said they knew nothing about the man that was screaming for the 1.5 hours I was there trying to a have a peaceful lunch break. Also, why is Kendall only location where the bartenders are allowed to were inappropriate Daisy Dukes at this family establishment. After waiting for a table, we were sat and it was 30 minutes before we met our waitress after that all the food got there at the same time appetizers and all the waitress was AWOL most of the night we didn't have napkins non-sweet iced tea out of prime rib. The ribs were not what you would call fall off the bone.. it was bony and dry. The french fries were lukewarm at best. We asked for an order of chicken rice. Hey Flanigans, what's going on. We've seen the best and most personable bartenders getting fired in the last year and it's still happening. We are regulars who spend lots of money there religiously 2-3 times a week. We saw this same thing happen at Duffys (which is horrible now) and Tap 42 so we moved elsewhere. This is happening here now, wow! Quality people are being let go like Liz,Thomas,Carlos,Amanda, etc and now Gia! This is too much! You're never going to find a perfect person, it doesn't exist. These people had personality, they knew their regulars and what they drank. They worked hard. I think it's a huge business mistake and now you may end up with worse staff who might not care as much. Maybe some traininf or a warning if it was a mistake but this is a real shame! We are already going there much less and may stop altogether. The magic is no longer there. We often go see these same bartenders at Doral or Tap and that's unfortunate. Please do better Flanigan's upper management, its being talked about and not by staff, by your customers who also care and are very upset. Thank you read more

Visited the Kendall location during March Madness and it was a perfect place to watch multiple games at one time. Line is long to get seated but I once settled I could understand the demand. Great environment and decent prices even for South Florida. Food came out quickly and portion sizes were generous enough that we needed to ask for boxes to take home. If you live in South Florida, I am certain that not only you have been to a Flannigans before, but you know of several locations of it, including the closest one to you, and you probably know the menu by heart and perhaps even know their daily specials. And like any restaurant with several locations, your experience is mostly dependent on the chef or the attendant working at that specific time. So I am not going to base this review on a specific visit to Flannigans, but rather Flannigans in general, specifically this specific location on Kendall and 127 Avenue. As far as the location is concerned, although this Flannigans is very visible, the parking area is not easy to get in and out of, mostly because of Home Depot in the same mall. That is if you are going there during day time. At night, when Home Depot closes, this is no longer an issue. This location has limited space outdoors. There are only a few tables in front, as you walk in, and there are a couple of long tables for large parties to the side. Inside feels a bit stuffy when you walk in as if the place has not been aired out in years. But after all this, we get to the good part and that is the food. Pretty much whatever you want is on the menu. From soup, salad, sandwiches and burgers, to wings, baby back ribs, steaks, pasta and fresh fish. I have been going to Flannigans since the 90s and I have probably tried every item on their menu and they are all good. The chicken wings are large, not like other places with wings that are barely an inch long. The baby back ribs are great. On the lighter side, the blackened Tilapia is one of my favorites, and I find the Philadelphia Cheese Steak pretty good as well. Even the items on the Startes menu are so large, they can serve as a meal by themselves, and that includes the loaded nachos and potato skins. Basically, go hungry and I promise you won't leave hungry, and you won't be hungry again for hours. read more
