When I walked in, I could smell the tea and coffee being made. The coffee was being heated and the…read morearoma felt so nostalgic that I still think about it to this day. I had the classic Kurdish Breakfast along with tea and it was spectacular. There aren't any Kurdish restaurants where I'm from so I just had to come here on a little trip. The decor is beautiful and feels connected to the Kurdish culture and diaspora. There were so many different people and it seems like a great community place. There were cultural imagery of Shahmaran which I think is for luck and strength. Everything about the space was welcoming and open. The furniture was beautiful and comfortable. The lighting was on point and the whole place was very very clean. Okay back to the breakfast! The fried eggs in olive oil in a cute little pan with the sides of a white cheese (not a feta but maybe?), two types of olives, tomatoes, cucumbers, honey, fig jam, walnuts, yogurt and naan. I mean, wow! Take some naan and pick up some eggs with it and add some toms. My fave combo is naan with walnut and then dipped in the honey then using that to scoop a little yogurt. The yogurt was classically Kurdish and had the most flavorful tang. The service was exceptional. I got some honey and dried tea to take back home with me. I also got an iced latte and I still have the cup for memorabilia. Although they would taste better there, it reminds me of one of the best breakfasts I've had in years. (The only thing I regret is not asking for some salt for the tomato and cucumber but the cheese was salty so the balance was there. I just really like salt) Such a great place and I am already making plans to visit again!

This was my first time trying Turkish food, and I have to say, I was completely blown away by how…read moredelicious everything was--especially the coffee! The coffee was honestly one of the best coffees I've ever had. If you're looking for a nice, chill environment with great food and especially great coffee, you definitely need to check this place out. I was very impressed. The service was wonderful, the restaurant was nice and clean, and I would definitely visit again if I'm in the area.
