Tried Eat Bubbles and it was such a cute spot! We got the hojicha flight and matcha flight, and both were so good--perfect if you want to sample different flavors. The cat-shaped vanilla jello was adorable and tasted great too. Service was quick and friendly, and the shop itself is super cute and cozy, a great place to chill or snap pics.

My favorite boba shop in Nashville. The staff always helps me choose the perfect fruit tea. I typically go with Mango and/or Strawberry Jasmine Tea. On this occasion, I decided to make it a slush with aloe fruit as the topping. I don't typically drink milk tea but the Lebanese Tea with boba is one of the most delicious drinks I've ever had. It feels akin to Chai Tea with all the spices and depth. The boba is made fresh daily and it has the perfect texture. As someone who likes sweeter drinks, I usually ask for additional sweetness for my fruit teas. The decor is so cute! Perfect place to study, read a book, or have a hangout with friends. Seating inside of the shop, as well as within L&L Market. They offer validated parking inside. Can't wait to return to try another seasonal flavor!

We decided to try them out after our ramen lunch date. Wanted something sweet but not too sweet. We got their Hojicha latte and Matcha Strawberry both with Oatmilk. I really enjoyed their hojicha- roasted green tea and it has a strong tea taste....just how I like it. It's so good. Matcha strawberry was good. Their matcha is a bit different so if you're a fan of matcha- earthy taste, this is it. I enjoyed it and the strawberry jam gives it a bit of sweetness too it- not too sweet.

This is one of those places I look forward to every time we're in town. Delicious!! Staff is friendly, the space is so cute, the tunes are perfect! I usually get the Ube Taro Latte with Boba and Oat Milk (gluten free)! One of the only bubble tea shops I've ever been to that seems to care about ingredients and allergens!! So many gluten free and dairy free options!! They also use lactose free whole milk if you can tolerate dairy, so that's dope! The different flavors are never too sweet!! The flavor is definitely prioritized here rather than just straight up sugary-sweetness, which I am so grateful for!! Until next time!!

The boba was highkey mid here, but maybe we just didn't order the right drinks or we came at the wrong time. I got the honeycomb toffee, which was served lukewarm. The little ice that was in there to begin with had melted only after a few sips. I had to ask for more ice. The flavor was too subtle. The milk was overpowering. My friend's hojicha latte was also lacking flavor and was too milky. The employees are nice and the inside is cozy, but I really wasn't a fan of the drinks. The boba was soft & chewy, so at least I could enjoy that.

I've been meaning to post a review for Eat Bubbles for a while now--this place has been a favorite of mine since I first discovered it years ago (thanks to Yelp), and it's still one of the most reliable spots for boba in Nashville. Located in the L&L Market, which is already such a fun destination, Eat Bubbles fits right in with its fresh, feel-good vibe. What really sets them apart is their commitment to natural ingredients--everything tastes clean and thoughtfully made, and you don't get that overly sugary or artificial flavor you sometimes find elsewhere. I usually go for a milk tea with boba (the jasmine green is a favorite), and I love that they let you adjust the sweetness. The boba is consistently soft and chewy--clearly made fresh--and their drinks always strike a nice balance of being refreshing and filling. The staff has always been friendly and helpful, whether I knew exactly what I wanted or needed suggestions. Inside the shop is bright and modern, and there's a good amount of seating both inside and outside in the shared market space, which makes it a nice little spot to relax or catch up with a friend. If you haven't been, definitely make a stop.

Another great hidden GEM! If you know L&L market then you must find this place. The service was so sweet, informative, and full of joy. I love listening to people who enjoy their work. The space is clean & has lots of bright colors with a decor of loose leaf tea and library aesthetics. Can't go wrong. Would recommend again for some good Boba and other sweet treats. 10/10 recommend

    Matcha mochi bubble waffle

I love coming to Eat Bubbles! I have never had a mochi bubble waffle before. This one came with chocolate syrup and a topping. I got the egg pudding and it was sooooooo good with the waffle and chocolate sauce. I also got a honey comb toffee and it came with actual honey toffee on top. You can customize your ice level and sweetness level and pick your topping(s). I got boba in mine and it was the perfect texture! The staff and owner are always helpful and kind! I love that there's a little nook area and seating so you can hang out and eat/drink. There's also plenty of seating outside of the shop in the L&L market area.

This beautiful bubble tea shop inside L&L Market is my go-to when I'm in need of some afternoon caffeine in West Nashville. Lora, Blake, and the entire team are always so welcoming, and they have great recommendations for any and all preferences and dietary restrictions. I've been slowly sampling my way through their menu, and my go-to is a Thai Tea (which isn't packed full of artificial flavors and colors like others around town are). At a time where we're all being a little more considerate of what we're putting into our bodies, it's such a comfort to know that Eat Bubbles only uses high-quality, artisan teas, and its own syrups in-house using organic brown sugar. I've also recently been on a Strawberry Matcha kick. Before I tried the matcha at Eat Bubbles, I would not have considered myself a fan of matcha in any way, shape, or form. I just couldn't get past that earthy taste ... and didn't see what all the hype was about. I shared those concerns with Eat Bubbles team, and they assured me that not all matcha tastes like that. In fact, their matcha is ceremonial grade, and sourced directly from Japan. If you're like me and aren't quite sure about matcha ... you should definitely check out Eat Bubbles before making your decision. You can also find Eat Bubbles pop-ups at various farmers markets around the city, including East Nashville and Richland Park. They won't have their full menu available - but it's a great first stop to fuel up before shopping through your favorite market booths.

Last week Saturday, was my first to Eat Bubbles. There was a little bit of a wait due to one of their viral videos on Tiktok blowing up, but we had no problem waiting. Their store is cute and quaint especially with the benches that feel like couches with tables in the store. Although the workers were busy, they were very friendly and quick making all of the orders. My friend and I got the Ube Taro Twist, i'll definitely be going back to get a flight to try multiple flavors. The ube didn't taste artificial, the chunks of taro was so satisfying to drink and the boba pearls were fresh. Being from Hawaii, I'm so glad I found a good boba spot here since I've been disappointed by a few places compared to back home.

    Tiger Milk Tea

Today, I went to Eat Bubbles for an Afternoon drink. I did not want caffeine and they recommended the Tiger Milk Tea. It was DELICIOUS. The service was very quick and both cashiers were kind. This would be a great spot to meet with friends ! I'm hoping to try the Taro Blended drink next time !

This was a great little place to stop and get authentic boba from! The employee who greeted me was super nice and helpful with the menu. I ordered the traditional black tea boba with milk and it was simple and sweet. I would def. Love to try a green tea or more sweet one next time, but highly recommend clenching out if you're in the area!

    Paulene C.

We ordered a mango slushee, mango cream fruit drink, and assam black tea with boba. The mango slushee was delicious! My husband liked the black tea. The woman working the counter was very friendly and informative. I loved that she told us about the different ingredients and options. I love that they have lactose free options since I'm sensitive to lactose.

Chico ate my homework…read more Okay. Well... I think we all know that I'm lying but I just had to attempt to find an excuse on why my adoring review of pop-up restaurant Buttermilk Road is just now being posted. What is Buttermilk Road, you ask? This is what proprietor and chef extraordinaire Lisa Donovan has to say: "Buttermilk Road Sunday Supper is a pop-up restaurant based in Nashville, Tennessee that is meant to celebrate the tradition of the community-family Sunday feasts." I digress a bit and note that while it is certainly all that she describes, it is also just so much more than that too... Last November, I was lucky enough to secure a spot for the "back to nature" vegetarian supper that was hosted at East Nashville darling Barista Parlor. For a suggested $80 donation, I enjoyed 4 courses of innovative yet thoughtfully prepared cuisine, carefully curated cocktails and beverages, and satisfying appetizers while enjoying breaking bread (a Pain Brie Normandie at that!) with a small community of culinary aficionados. The casual elegance of Barista Parlor was the perfect platform for Lisa and her team to build a beautiful evening filled with the fragrant scent of scrumptious sustenance and undeniable charm. Many milled around the space and mingled while sipping on the Hot Apple Cider that was concocted of Lairds Apple Jack Brandy and Prichard's Tennessee Whiskey. Although, I knew that I should pace myself due to the bountiful courses ahead of me, I couldn't resist nibbling on the appetizers that were laid out. The Crostini with Eggplant Caponata and Fried Cippolini Onions was dangerously tasty while the Wild Mushroom Pate with Cumin Marinated Olives and Pain de Campagne still resonates with my taste buds. I'm a vegan so I passed on the Cheese Selection but I did thoroughly enjoy the Fresh Figs and Quince. And, to think... those were just the appetizers. I had contacted Lisa ahead of time to thank her for organizing a vegetarian themed supper as I was literally salivating at the opportunity to attend one of her events. Some of my friends were just raving on and on about how incredible their experiences were at a supper hosted at Burger Up while others were literally gloating about The Catbird Seat edition that was just a couple of weeks before. Lisa graciously replied that she would be happy to "vegan-ize" the menu for me and was as delightfully adorable as those revered little biscuits that she's known for. Throughout the evening, I couldn't help but smile as familiar faces were both sitting at the long rustic tables and also scooting out of the kitchen to giddily serve fine fare to the diners. I can't honestly think of another occasion where I was itching to join a kitchen or event crew in preparing and serving others. Perhaps, it was the intoxicating mulled wine but I'm certain the real reason is that these passionate folks are "sharing" a truly beautiful experience and not just "serving" supper. The first course consisted of Warm Asparagus Salad with Arugula, Walnut Vinaigrette and Poached Farm Fresh Egg but again, Lisa and Co. were able to alter this dish for me and I was more than satisfied with the tweak. The lust-worthy Buckwheat Crepe comprised of Housemade Ricotta, Roasted Fennel, Leeks, Romesco Sauce, and Fried Green Spanish Olives was a flavorful second course. The combination of the sauce and Spanish Olives burst with flavor. For the third course, one of my favorite beans was featured front and center with Artichoke, Pepper, and Chickpea Tagine served with Preserved Lemon, Chermoula, and Housemade Harissa. Seriously, it just doesn't get much better than that folks. We all know what is next... the final course. Hello, dessert! Along with cupping local favorite, Drew's Brew Coffee Service, we savored a Maple Cream Panna Cotta with Caramelized Pears and Oatmeal Crumble. My, oh, my. Lisa's extensive experience as a renowned pastry chef (with pedigreed stints at Margot, City House, and now Husk) really shine here. Her desserts aren't an afterthought of saccharine or fluff but instead has brought baking and "sweets" to a whole 'notha level. The evening ended nearly as magical as it started with many lingering around for a bit to bond and chatter about the wonderful circumstances that brought us all together to share such an intimate supper together. With Lisa's new role at Husk and the rising popularity of Buttermilk Road in other markets that have beckoned this pop-up to hit the road (a Southern Baking Class was hosted recently hosted in NYC), my only concern is that BR will start to resemble the well-intended family who initially dined together while sharing funny stories and playing games... However, as work deadlines loom and the kids grow up, these frequent meals become exclusive only to holidays or special occasions. I hope that the Buttermilk Road is a tradition that will live on at the dinner table and beyond. TIP: BR can also be commissioned to cater and plan private events too!

The Standouts: * Oh My Gogi: This is a best-seller for a reason. The beef bulgogi and kimchi combo provides a perfect umami punch that balances out the rich eggs and cheese.  * Playin' Dirty: My personal favorite. The spicy pork belly is absolutely packed with flavor, and the addition of okonomiyaki sauce makes it so unique. * The "Ube-Bee": You have to try their new specialty Ube sandwich. It uses vibrant purple Ube French toast with bacon, eggs, cheese, and a hash brown patty, all drizzled with miso maple syrup. It's the ultimate sweet-and-savory combo and looks amazing.  * Yuzu Egg Salad: I'm usually not even an egg salad person, but this one is surprisingly good. The secret has to be the Yuzu Kosho (Japanese citrus pepper salt)--it adds a bright, zesty kick that cuts through the creaminess perfectly.  The Vibe: The presentation is 10/10--these sandwiches are basically made for Instagram. It's also a huge plus that they open at 8 AM, making it a reliable option for an early breakfast before the Nashville crowds really start moving.
