Chatime is a very solid boba tea spot! Coming from Boston, I've tried plenty of bubble tea shops, and this place was pretty good. They have a bunch of different flavor options available, so you can try out something on the funkier side if you'd like. There weren't many people around when we went, so the service was fast. The space itself is pretty nice, with a fun greenery wall. We took our tea to go, after lingering in the shop for a bit. Would recommend! read more

Very cute place! You can park in the garage and they have a voucher for it inside. It's such a nice place and have such a variety of choies. I typically get matcha or taro milk tea with boba. The drinks are always great but the tapioca can be a little too soft. Too soft where it's gooey in my personal opinion. I still recommend! Popped in to quench my boba fix! Friendly and quick service. A nice sized menu with lots of options. I ordered using the kiosk, which was super easy. I went with a fruit tea. We stopped in Chatime while in Nashville, at first glance at the storefront you don't really know what type of food/drink is served, but after looking inside we knew it was boba tea! It's a small business with counter service and only 2 tables inside. They have two kiosks for ordering when you first enter - it doesn't include descriptions of items but shows photos. There are a lot of add on options which can add up when you add different flavored boba or toppings. For two drinks I paid $15. The kids enjoyed the boba and wanted to go back, so a win! read more

I came here for their grand opening as they were giving out free drinks. The first day, I ordered the #1 signature drink, no ice, no sugar. It's milk tea with boba - and instead of powdered milk, I got soy milk. When I was in line, there was a person coming to check up on us and when I asked about the milk, he said there's whole, oat, and soy milk as options for milk - but there wasn't whole milk. The wait was about 1 hour that day and we showed up at 11:50AM. The tea flavor is very, very weak, and the soy milk is sweet so it adds sugar to the entire drink. There was also ice in my drink which was incorrect according to what I ordered, but I didn't ask them to change it. Also, I brought my own cup because for environmental reasons, I don't like using one-time throwaway items - especially if it's plastic. I asked the person if I could use my cup and she said she'll give me the drink in their normal plastic cup and I could pour it myself. She completely did not understand why I brought my own cup, and I had to explain it. Oh Nashville (and the south). The second day was a lot faster, and unfortunately, I showed up when my friends had already gotten their drink - so I went back with them after lunch as I didn't want them to wait in the same long line again. There was practically no line at around 1:30PM, yay! There were tickets that day, and the person giving tickets told my friends that they could have a second drink. When we got up to the counter, the person at the counter said they couldn't have another drink - but I told the person her that the ticketing person said they could, and she let them have it. I got the same drink as yesterday because out of every drink I tried (from my friends the previous day), it was the best. I also wanted to try the Thai tea with 30% sugar and no ice, so my friend ordered it for me - but that order was messed up. First time, they put ice in (I was sitting outside with the others so I didn't see this happening, otherwise I would've said it's fine), and second time, they gave taro tea instead of Thai tea; I'm not sure if they gave us taro the first time too, unclear based on what my friend told me. He didn't want to ask for another change so just took it, but I really don't like that drink because it's too sweet. Disappointed that I didn't get to try the Thai tea. I tried a lot of my friends' drinks as well: the taro tea as mentioned above is too sweet but at least I think they have real taro as opposed to just powder. All the fruit ones are made with syrup, but the person telling us about the drinks while we were waiting in line the first day said Chatime has fruit orchards in Taiwan and the syrups are made from those fruits. Syrup is syrup, doesn't matter to me whether they're made from real fruit or not, it's a load of sugar and not the real type of fruit tea. He also said the tea is from Taiwan. If that's actually true, they either got crappy tea or they don't know how to brew it so that there's real flavor. Definitely an Americanized, sugary boba tea spot. If you want authentic, high-quality Taiwanese bubble tea, Eat Bubbles and Sharetea are the places to go. People here are super friendly and nice though, I appreciated that! read more

I wanted some boba and saw Chatime so I decided to try them out. The shop is cute and you order at the screens by the door. They didn't have what I was looking for on the screens (peach green tea with strawberry popping) so the nice employee took my order at the register instead. Since it was my first time, I asked him about the sweetness level. He said 30 or 50% is usually sweet enough. I went with 50% and it was perfect! Chatime is one of the newer boba spots on the block and I'm so glad it came. Off the bat, they offer 16oz, 22oz and 32oz drinks. The 22 and 32oz might sound like overkill but it isn't! So many times I wished I could have more of the drink without having to buy a second drink and this is the perfect middle ground. I've had the mango fruity tea, tropical fruity tea, brown sugar boba milk tea, and the guava fruity tea. My personal favorites are the Mango and the Guava and my girlfriend likes the brown sugar boba milk tea as well were told that they use a lactose free milk and she is lactose intolerant. The service there is always phenomenal. We came in once and ended up getting a second drink after trying the first drink and the staff was very observant with the drinks we ordered. They used our preferences from the previous drinks to make the next drink. Great attention to detail! This has definitely jumped to my number 1 spot in the area. read more

After visiting gpop at Saint Thomas Hospital West we were craving boba. I am from the Bay Area, Cali and there are HELLA boba spots back home. This spot was ON-POINT with their boba! Definitely reminded me of home. Little shop, yet cozy and colorful vibe. 2 kiosks (which we used) to order from and of course a single cash register for that person-to-person contact. Chatime was always my go to spot on the east coast so I was had to go check it out when I heard they were open. The space is very vibrant and has a cozy seating area for patrons. On the left when you walk in you have self ordering kiosks which is nice and you can place your order with the staff if you're unsure what to order. The menu is slightly reduced from what I've seen at other Chatimes but I think that's because they just opened up (about 2 weeks ago from the time of posting this review) so I'm hopeful that they'll get the rest of the Chatime standards. They do offer a large 32 oz size which is a first for me. Drink wise, the taste is consistent with what I've had at other Chatime stores. I went with 50% sweet but should have gone with 30% as it was a little too sweet for me. Toppings were fresh and delicious. There is ample parking for this Chatime as there's street parking as well as 30 min free parking in the garage that is part of the complex. Very excited to see more boba options sprouting up in the Nashville area and look forward to coming back to try more of their drinks! read more

Finally a legit Boba shop in Nashville area! I've heard good things about Chatime, and the owners of this franchise did not disappoint and delivered on point. I tried their premium milk tea with standard boba and add on pudding. This is the first Nashville boba establishment that I went to where the drink was near perfect- excellent base tea product, well textured boba and pudding, and the temperature of the drink was set exactly right to provide a refreshing experience. I am so excited that Chatime has landed here in Nashville. I finally found a place for my boba fix and looking forward to trying their other flavors! read more
