Aaaannnyyywaay, I had one tattoo done by Iesza, who was marvellous but has long since moved on, one done by Eric that I was not entirely thrilled with and he's since moved on too, and two done by Emily, who does a really excellent job and is a skilled artist, as well as being friendly and funny and putting the customer at ease. I like the location now; taking it out of the downtown core makes it more accessible if you're like me and have a car - parking is less of an issue. I also like the space a lot - very bright and lots of bold colour. I know they take hygiene and standards there very seriously too, which is important. I find the price a teeny bit steep, but research shows it's gone up everywhere and Urge is about average. My giving 4 stars instead of 5 is the occasionally intimidating "hipster/snob" feel which might dissuade a first-timer, and because they do such a great job that they're popular and it takes ages to get in.

I feel quite unwelcome in the space, and the artist who did a matching tattoo for my friend and me really didn't seem to want to be doing it (we had asked and made sure he was ok with it, and he agreed). I appreciate the ease of communication and how knowledgeable Terry is. He's very honest and will give you all the information you need. Today, January 25,2022, I did the Scarlet RF. I was supposed to do this procedure last year but had to hold off because of personal reason. I've already did consult last year but Terry wanted to do another one to make sure all my concerns and questions are addressed. I used to go to a different skin clinic before. Unfortunately, the other clinic has gone too busy and too commercialized. The personal touch is gone in my opinion. One thing I like about The One Skin is how they make you feel they care about you. Terry is very kind and you can feel his sincerity. The whole procedure took almost 3 hours including post care. I'm not going to lie. The procedure is painful but tolerable. The numbing cream really helped. The package I bought includes 3 sessions of Scarlet RF, 3 post procedure care and 3 peeling treatments done 2 weeks after SRF. It's just my first session and I feel very good. I will update this review once I completed the 3 sessions. So far so good!

You can tell that they have experience, and have a lot of skin knowledge. I did a hydrofacial to clear my congested skin, and a carbon laser peel after that (my first time for laser skincare). Because laser causes redness and damage to the skin, they provide a free "postcare treatment" where they cool down the skin with gels, serums, and a mister while you relax, that was a nice touch. I look amazing, my pores are smaller, my skin is really radiant and even, and there is this noticeable glow. Most importantly my visible acne and redness are reduced as well. I am really happy. I wanted to come back to do some Botox, so I spoke with the doctor while I was there. She was informative, gentle, and professional.
