Food was good, definitely is a club/party scene on weekends but we enjoyed it! The tiramisu espresso martini is delicious!

I've lived in San Diego for about a year now and this is one of my favorite places to go for food and drinks! I absolutely love the food and specialty cocktails. My go to's are the truffle fries, meatballs, whipped ricotta, pizzas, and the pear salad for food and then an espresso martini, any one of their IPA's on tap, or the Drunk In Love for drinks. Honestly, all the food is so good and the service is always amazing. When I was there just last week our server was Steve and he made sure we were taken care of from start to finish. He was friendly, attentive, and patient while my friend had so many questions about the menu due to a food allergy. The ambiance is super cute, it's such a chill vibe and I love all the decor. Doesn't hurt that it is just steps from the beach. I love coming here and can't wait to be back soon! read more

Ok, so this review is coming from a person over 40, and maybe that is why my experience here was just okay. We went for my SIL's birthday, was very excited to try this place as it was in PB, and it had been a while since I'd been there. It's a cool spot, on the corner, parking garage underground where you can pay to park. First thing you notice is that the music is extremely loud for an eating place. We couldn't even talk to each other across the table. It's decorated with flamingoes and had a Miami vibe to it, that was pretty cool. The scene is beachy and young, and of I were twenty years younger I would've loved this place. The food was good, my dish was something with chicken, and I would order it again. Not really a family place, no high chairs, or kids menu, so don't go with kids. Would be a good date spot, or to party with friends. read more

Unfortunately this place fell flat for me. I mean I am from NYC so our pizza is hard to beat but not even the drinks were good. My friend and I got the giant flamingo drink (I do not remember what it's called lol) and it honestly just tasted like juice. If I wanted juice that's fine but I wouldn't pay $40 for it. All in all the atmosphere was great which is why I gave Flamingo Deck three stars but I hope they change for the better in terms of their food/drinks. read more

Love this place! It makes me feel a bit like I'm in Miami and also a bit nostalgic. The music made me feel like I was at a nightclub which I loved! Servers were great there is one server that kinda looks like Charlie Puth - which is also great lol. The peach salad is unreal. I've been here twice - The calamari was fantastic the first time around and OK the second time around. The chicken dish however was amazing both times. Flamingo Deck was a great choice for brunch with my friends on a guys trip. We made a reservation for 8 at 10:30 which was very easy to make. The food was amazing by the way. French toast was piled high and decadent, basic breakfast was delicious and potato's were crispy and so tasty. They do offer a bottomless deal for $20 with an entree. I unfortunately couldn't partake since they have to come mixed, I have a citrus intolerance and can't drink that much orange juice. Regardless. Will be coming back for drinks or for brunch again. Her pupils were like pin holes and she told us we couldn't order mimosas after a certain time (honestly still confused because it's like she was talking in riddles) and then proceeded to serve mimosas to like everyone around us? Cute venue, fun drinks and lots of room inside/outside. Wouldn't recommend really for a big meal. Went with a group for brunch on Saturday at 11 and there was no wait. We got sat in a weird corner spot and we told them we had 11 people. The tables were outside and spaced out in a corner so it was really hard to sit "together". Got the Bacon Avocado Eggs Benedict- don't recommend. The English muffin was super flat and very hard/tough to chew. They only have drip coffee with no milk alternatives which was a bummer as you'd think a drink/brunch place would have that. I came here for the st Patrick's day bar crawl. Since it was so crowded and my friend and I waited for roughly an hour, the bartender lady felt bad for us and gave us our shots & drinks for free because we waited for so long and it was packed. We went to Brunch at the "FLAMINGO DECK " by PACIFIC BEACH . The vibes here are very nice. We were greeted by a server with a very lovely smile, as in her smile makes us feel so welcome. We started with our FLAMINGO DRINK , it's called "DRUNK and IN LOVE". Our drink is in this cute Heavy Flamingo, at first I thought it was heavy because of the drink inside of it, but when I finished the drink it was still heavy ! So, it must be made of a good quality material . Inside the drink is a Water Basil grey goose, Water melon, Red Bull, Lemon, and Cucumber. It is such a good and Refreshing drink ! For our food we had: *SPAGHETTI CARBONARA * CAPRESE BENEDICT BOTH are good, especially the CAPRESE BENEDICT, the sauce on it was really good. The place is Nice and clean and well decorated. This place is also close to Beach so after dinning at the Flamingo we also walked to the beach and had some more Fun. I came here this past weekend for the 1st time with a friend. We were very much looking forward to a nice dinner at this fun spot. We ordered one of the big flamingo drinks I believe it was called little shindig. It was good and definitely had The appropriate amount of alcohol in it. For dinner I ordered the seared bluefin ahi and she ordered a pizza. They brought out mine 1st and said hers would be out in a minute. 15 minutes later I asked the server where hers was as I still had not touched mine. I don't think it's polite to start eating until everyone has been served their meal. The server said a few more minutes and asked us if we would like anything else in the meantime . To me that made no sense because what are you gonna make in 3 minutes. After waiting a little bit longer my friend's pizza did come out but then of course My seared tuna was then overcooked because it sat there in a warm bowl. I think one of the main things with dining is everyone's dinner should be brought out at the same time. My friend and I also sat at a table for 4 and it was the 2 of us. We had our jackets and purses on one of the extra chairs. A worker asked if they could take 1 of the chairs which we said was fine. Then a different worker came over and asked for the other chair and I was like well we're kind of using it to store our stuff and she was like well you can put it behind you kinda buy where the hostess stand is. And I was like absolutely not as no one was there to watch my stuff, But I let her take the chair and then we put our jackets on our purses on our lap because the tables did not have hooks. My party enjoyed their food and their bottomless mimosas or drinks they ordered. Our server was fun and nice! The vibes are fun and very pink! There are a lot of different photo opportunities in this place. The bathrooms are super cute and were very clean. I did not enjoy my Special Madame Croquet. The horseradish flavor was too pungent for my liking and I could not finish it. We had a party of 14 and we signed a contract to be able to have a reservation. I had my rehearsal dinner here at the beginning of the month in the Laylow, the speakeasy in the Flamingo Deck. For about 6 months I emailed and met with Mercedes the Director of Sales & Events and she made the whole planning process so easy and stress free. We had an open bar with delicious drinks and a buffet. The food was amazing the vibes were just right and the drinks were flowing. Love the espresso martinis here! (Called the tiramisu martini). I have also tried out the prosciutto pizza and house potatoes before which are great to share. My only negative would be the high price of the drinks/food and slower service. Great ambiance though! You are paying more for the restaurant's aesthetic than the food/drinks themselves. read more

I was super excited to try this place because it has a really good aesthetic to it but I when I sat i at the bar, the girl behind the bar could barely choke up a Hello, never smiled could not make eye contact with us. when my friend ordered a second drink, she never asked if I wanted one. I just didn't understand how you could be a bartender with absolutely no customer service . The service was so rude. Prices are decent in my opinion, would suggest sharing a few plates. When asking Server what is better salmon or chicken (after I ordered chicken) be saids it depends what you want. With a bit of a discuss on his face. I stayed with my original order of chicken once he said it was chicken breast. However, I got chicken quarter which I didn't eat because I got grossed out. Also, Awful food etiquette, we got our food at different times. Drink where not all that greats n I would never return for this kind of service. My son walked out to take a call n he was not let back in WTH is that, so we had to leave thank god. If the only thing that you are interested in is ambience, maybe you'll like this place maybe.
