This was the most pleasant surprise ever! We stayed here for a few nights at the end of summer and it was incredible! The vibes to expect: Cozy weekend at grandmas (but it the best most wholesome way possible). The decor and hotel are old but very clean and well preserved!! I seriously felt so at home and welcome here. All rooms have a VCR player and a whole library of movies downstairs for you to rent. I will say when it comes to hotels I'm a bit of a snob but the flagship inn had so much personality! Highly highly recommend for those who like a little nostalgic feel!

Short review to let folks know the Flagship Inn is a great choice in Bremerton. Small older 2-story motel, clean decent-sized rooms with balconies overlooking Oyster Bay, at a reasonable price. Didn't jump in the pool but it looked big, & clean. Parking is ample, easy, free, & felt safe. Staff was congenial, fresh cookies with coffee n tea at check-in was a nice touch, as well as a good continental breakfast in the morning.

If you are looking for clean, comfortable and affordable accommodations, look no further. The Flagship Inn's decor is dated to be sure, but the bed is one of the more comfortable beds I've slept on, and the swivel chair was cozy and a great to sit in while looking out across Oyster Bay. The room was nicely appointed with a fridge, microwave and 2 cup coffeemaker as well as a TV, alarm clock and VHS player. The lobby has coffee, tea, fruit and cookies available throughout the day as well as a continental breakfast each morning. Oh and that aforementioned VHS player? Check out the excellent collection of movies in the lobby that will bring you back memories of Friday nights at Blockbuster. When you need a moment to unwind, sit out on the balcony in your room and watch the boats anchored in the bay. It's a great place to enjoy a morning cup of coffee.

Beautiful view of the bay from every room.

This is an older motel that is kept very clean and well maintained. The staff is delightful and accommodating. The room is well appointed. The mattress very comfortable. Just so you can be smarter than I was, if you have a problem with stairs, let them know. The hotel is on 3 levels, 1 up and 1 down. Neither is more than 1 flight. They were very nice about changing my room but it would have been better if I had thought to let them know. Oh, and the cookies on tap in the office are lovely.

Every room has a view of oyster bay.

A wonderful and affordable place to stay. Staff were very friendly, housekeeping was fantastic. The room was dated but super clean. They appeared to be doing some updating. Our room had new carpet. If you like good pressure in the shower, this has it!

Wow! What a great value for money hotel! Stunning views from the room, and I mean STUNNING! Clean upgraded rooms, good breakfast and very helpful staff. I have read the bad reviews posted, and can only say that was NOT what I saw or experienced. Value for money and a great location to see the area. Will be back!!!

Love these charging stations on both sides of the bed.

What a gem!!! We read the other Yelp reviews and knew that we had to stay here for our weekend business in the area. From the time we phoned in our reservations to the time we checked out we were treated with respect and gratitude for their business. The place is like a step back in time, but everything is refreshed and CLEAN!!! Exactly what we're looking for since we're only here for the "bed and bath". The amenities that they provide are exceptional: shower cap ( my fav), shoe polisher, make up remover, shampoo, conditioner, and lotion! A great continental breakfast with no protein, but some yummy muffins and pastries. Every room has a balcony with a view of Oyster Bay, and a place to plug in ALL of your electronics on both sides of the bed!!! Love this place. Let's keep the independent places open and booming!!!

The Flagship Inn is now my favorite hotel I've stayed at - and as a touring musician that says a lot. It is perfectly old school, unhip in the best way, and an absolute delight. The staff is friendly and genuine, every room has this perfect relaxing view of the water, there is plenty of parking, the rooms have REAL CERAMIC COFFEE CUPS - not paper - which is such a treat - and a very reasonable array of shampoo / toiletries, microwave, fridge, and comfortable mattresses / pillows. The rates were more than fair and it was just a great straightforward comfortable place to stay while traveling. It's not trying to be too cute or precious - it's perfect as is. Morning continental breakfast had nice options including fresh fruit.

The place pretty is well dated BUT it has been kept up really nice!!! It has A LOT of amenities galore! Each room has gorgeous water views from the room's balcony. Here's a list of all the amenities...good size digital screen TVs, combo VHS/DVD player, coffee maker, microwave, refrigerator plus a wall mounted phone in the bathroom! Free continental breakfast every morning with local newspaper and USA Today. Free use of an internet computer and printer. Over 300 VHS movies to select from. Nearby restaurants and fast food places. And the biggest deal were the two managers - Joe (daytime) and John (night time) are a vast improvement from what the low ratings (1 star) were about the past managers! I highly recommend this place for sure!!!

Really good customer service, very attentive. The view of the lake is absolutely beautiful. Will be back again !

This place was clean and the staff was friendly and very helpful! I love that it was quiet but we also could be loud with kids in room. Free breakfast was good! The water pressure in our room was better then at home the maid service was quick and very thorough!! Lots of good to say about this hotel, not modern and fancy but AMAZING service. Must wear masks in hotel until safe in room which I liked. Thank you for being COVID safe!

A total step back in time for sure but it was clean and the gentleman at the front desk was friendly. If you are down for a vhs movie and a great view this is the place for you. Large room and a phone in the bathroom if you need to make a call. You won't be disappointed if you simply want a great view and a clean old school hotel.

Based on the reviews they just went through a big renovation and deserve a good review. The current reviews are not so good but we had a great time there. The best part of the hotel is their service! Each and every employee greets you when they see you and are very friendly and helpful. An extra shoutout to Trevor front desk for helping us out with food recommendations and some reservation issues, checking to see how our stay was going and fun conversations! Another shoutout to Christina for the awesome breakfast service and always asking how our days were going! Location is right down the street a few minutes walk from the Ferry Terminals (state DoT ferry - 1 hr and fast passenger ferry 35 min available). It was also located steps away from the Kitsap conference center that our training was. Also a few minutes away from the Puget sound naval shipyard. Free Breakfast included starts at 6 am, bread, bagels, muffins, juices, cream cheese, peanut butter, cereals, milk, fresh fruits. Hot breakfasts included eggs, sausages, bacon, biscuits and gravy, seasoned potatoes, waffles - vanilla, cinnamon, s'mores, toppings - strawberry and blueberry whipped cream butter, sprinkles, heath pieces, hot oatmeal with brown sugar, almonds, raisins. 24/7 available in the lobby, they have coffee, decaf coffee, tea (hot water) and tea bags, hot chocolate. Ice water and lemon ice water available 24/7 by the check in counter which also has a microwave and little store to buy things you may have forgotten or snacks and fast frozen meals Each room has a refrigerator and microwave, luggage stand, iron, ironing board, tv. The bed was a little squeaky but was fine to sleep on still very comfortable. Parking available under the hotel and is shared with the restaurant, Anthony's so sometimes it may be hard to get parking if you come back too late, but every time we needed parking we were able to find parking. $15 a day for registered guests. Definitely would recommend staying here and would stay here again!

The room was very clean and comfortable, and we had a beautiful view from the balcony, which made the stay even more relaxing. The front desk staff were friendly and welcoming. Parking was also very easy, with plenty of spots and convenient access even for larger vehicles. One of the highlights was the included breakfast. It is buffet style with plenty of options. The coffee selection was surprisingly good, with different types of beans and flavors, along with a nice variety of teas. I really appreciated that they serve real eggs instead of the typical premade ones you often find at hotels, which made a big difference for me. Not forget to mention the wonderful Hawaiian lady in the restaurant. She is amazing and so sweet. My daughters and I just love her!! The only reason I am giving four stars instead of five is the pool area. It feels a bit outdated, the pool was not as clean as expected, and it is on the smaller side. The towels provided for the pool are also quite small. Since I usually choose hotels with nice pool areas for my daughters, this part was a bit disappointing. That said, I still recommend this place and would definitely come back again.

For much of the first day all roads in and out of the area were inaccessible due to downed trees and power lines. When one road opened up, we had to drive to an area with internet access to book a hotel stay. This hotel was the closest to Seattle with power and availability. Ninety minutes for heat and electricity. You betcha I booked. The parking lot is right off a busy road. There is a large sign at the entrance. Even so, in the dark, it took some concentration to be sure we had it right first time. The lobby is large, brightly lit with shiny floors and modern chandeliers. A couch grouping is just inside the entrance. Reception is on the left near the back. Breakfast buffet is across the lobby on the right. A large representation of what I believe to be Mt. Rainier takes up a lot of space between reception and the breakfast area. Down a few steps, along the back, tables and chairs for breakfast line a window wall. One TV near reception faces the entrance and is not visible from the tables during breakfast. We started with a two night reservation and as the hotel had space, allowed us to add a day at a time as long as we extended before check-out. The staff were very friendly and understanding of our fluid situation. The hotel is four levels. Reception is on level 3, which is ground level on this side of the hotel. It is also quite long with several entrances and elevator banks. We were directed to drive down to the fourth entrance to park. Elevators are across the hall from the entrance. We only went up one floor to the fourth level to reach our room. I never did get down to the first and second level, but understand guest laundry is on the second level near these elevators. Two fifty per wash and two fifty per dry cycle. Breakfast is included with the room price. We were given a slip of paper for each person on the reservation, for each day of our stay. The slips are dated and handed to the breakfast hostess before helping ourselves to the buffet. The woman on duty during our stay is a delight. She kept busy restocking, cleaning, helping guests and made time for a chat if guest initiated. Breakfast included sausage gravy and biscuits, plus reconstituted scrambled eggs. Rotating items included bacon, sausage, breakfast potatos and french toast sticks. They have a 'make your own' waffle station with syrup and add ons. The toaster area included small bagels, english muffins and breads, along with a few pastries and muffins. Packets of butter, margerine, peanut butter, and other things you might like are also here. Jelly is on the table. A small fridge had cream cheese and yogurts. A variety of cold cereals and milk had it's own section. Another area offered coffee, decaf coffee and hot water with teas and cocoa. This was set up next to a juice machine with three types of juice plus flavored water. Fresh fruit was also available. A pretty nice breakfast. We reserved a King suite which is one large room with a knee wall between the bed and sleep sofa. The area near the door contained a small fridge, microwave, coffee maker and ice bucket across from the closet. There is no luggage rack in the closet and none in the room which was inconvenient. A full bath is off this tiny hall. The furnishings were in good condition. The bathroom was clean. Multi-use amenities are mounted on the bathroom wall. The room heater sounded like a plane taking off when it ran. There is a small balcony and sliding glass doors on the exterior wall covered by both sheers and black-out curtains. Additional parking is located on the other side of the building at level 1, but the lot we parked in was more than sufficient for the guests in house. We were able to walk from our room at the far end of the building to the lobby each morning for breakfast on the inside of the building. I did see an ice machine near one of the entrances during our journy. Some of the fire doors were closed but unlocked. An exercise room is located off the lobby, behind the breakfast room (not through the breakfast room, around, behind it). Although there are lots of eateries nearby we did not find one we enjoyed. This hotel is conveniently near the Naval Station. I did let the front desk know at check out about a couple of minor maintenance issues that need attention.
