Had a car loan through them for three years. I unfortunately lost my job and made arrangements to make one payment. I did this of $700, was told that I would qualify for Trip to have my payment deffered for 3 months. 3 weeks later, around 6:00 pm repo man showed up and towed my vehicle. I called Flagship right away and they gave me an amount that was 3 times of what was initially agreed upon before the Trip arrangement. Now also two months later, they are expecting me to pay them the entire balance of the loan before I can get my car back. So, if I'm out of work, how am I expected to come up with thousands of dollars in a month? Bad communication, constant calling all times during the day after I repeatingly have told them not to call me during working hours - they show no regard for this at all. At this point, I know I will not be able to get my car back but if there is a class action lawsuit against for the constant calling, I will definitely be a part of it. They show NO regard for this. Terrible finance company I've ever dealt with. Hurts to give my hard money to pay on a loan, only to have to vehicle taken from me 3 weeks later. Terrible! Would not recommend them to anyone! read more

Absolutely worst company I've ever had a car loan with! I have paid over the amount of my monthly payment EVERY month and none of it has been applied to the hefty interest they charge! Wont ever use them again. read more

if I could give ZERO stars, I would. This is the worst company to do business with. They are rude and unprofessional. I recently purchased a car, have not even had it a month and I'm fed up with this company already. First they called me non stop day and night and never left a message so I didn't know who was calling or why. They always seemed to call while I was sleep or working. I finally caught the phone ringing when I was at work and walked away to answer and see what they wanted. They wanted absolutely nothing. My payment was not due for 45 days, my profile was set up, there was no explanation for why they called causing unnecessary stress for me thinking something was wrong. Fast forward a few weeks, I decided to pay my car note early and went onto the website and saw there was a fee to make my payment ON LINE. I pay all my bills online and never had to pay a fee. I called to get the address no one would give it to me. I called for the ACH to pay through my bank, no one would give it to me. I asked for a supervisor and got hung up on and of course no one called me back even though they called non stop in the beginning. I believe they try to make your car payments late so they can get more money from you. This company has a fee for EVERYTHING. If you pay over the phone there is a fee. There is no APP, the only way you can not have a fee is auto pay which I don't trust them to take correctly. So I check their reviews and you guessed it 1.3 out of 5. FIVE. Reviews are saying they don't report your good payments. They can't find payments sent. And of course they over charge. They are HORRIBLE. The customer service is HORRIBLE. I don't even want this car if I have to deal with them for years. If they don't report your payments you can't refinance and are stuck with them. I hate it and my first car note is not even due yet. I wish that I could give them zero stars. Don't use them!! read more

They called me when I haven't made my 1st payment. I expressed my sincere displeasure with customer service representative who called me. Told her to never ever call people whose payment is not due for 15 days. Although I intend to pay early. I am grateful to Flagship for accepting my loan but don't start out harassing folks whose payments are not even due yet! SMH! Next time they do that, I will be changing my rating from 3 to 1 star period! read more

If I could give negative stars I would. DO NOT FINANCE THROUGH THIS COMPANY. The policies surrounding payment schedule changes and deferments are set-up almost as if they want you to default. I've never had a late payment and have almost payed off my almost 30k loan and they still treated me like a leper when I requested a deferment. Avoid at all costs. read more

High apr, they lie every step of they way to get your money and make you pay more through penalties. If they are your only option the make sure you get everything they say in writing or recorded because they will act like they never said it and if you don't have proof there's nothing you can do. They sure won't produce any recordings that prove you're right even though they say that your conversations are recorded. When you ask them to produce them they act like they're stupid and can't get them or can't find them. read more

Originally finance my new truck through car finance a year and half ago and was sold to flagship. From the moment flagship took over my account it was a nightmare. Making payments was difficult and now I have vehicle paid off and I requested refund on my gap insurance which they said takes 6-8 weeks I waited the 8 weeks and called them and they now say it's 8-10 weeks for my refund because it was a car finance loan well I contacted car finance and they said no it is all through Flagship credit. I really cannot wait to be done dealing with this company as it's a total run around and they are trying to not give me my money back I overpaid. Customer service was terrible! After paying over $1000 a month (the car payment is only $656)and all of the late pay. I got behind a month and she proceeded to tell me "well you shouldn't be late with your payments". I would rate this company 0 stars if I could!!!! Been with this credit company since June. Made all our payments on time. Then all the corona hit and things went to shit. Last week we called and inquired about deferring our car loan for a few months due to my husbands job. My husband is a courier and gets paid per delivery, with everything being closed he's not making any money. Well, we were originally told that there would be no problem deferring our loan for a few months but we would have to call back once the payment date passed. Well we called back today and it was a different story. The customer service rep was very rude and told my husband that he should just get on unemployment so he can pay bills. (He's not unemployed just not working as much as before). We were then informed that if we did a deferred payment we would accrue penalties and extra interest, when asked how much they refused to give an amount. Needless to say we will be refinancing through a different company as soon as possible. This company alleges that they are there for their customer but they really aren't. read more

Horrible company, say they offer Covid assistance but literally do not help at all. They flat out said they gave everyone an extension for covid without any issues but for the people who are still unemployed and need assistance they do nothing but harass you daily. I have been in contact with them and have called in before my payments were so to explain yet they still do nothing instead tell me they are only looking at accounts 30 days past due for assistance and will still report the account delinquent. Smh do not go with them read more

This company has a terrible business model in the way it treats it's customers. They treat me like a collection agency if my payment is a couple of days late. They will call my phone literally 5-6 times, and if I do not pick up, because I am busy, they call my work phone. It is obnoxious. Then they will treat me like I am scamming them when I go to make my payment, making me jump through all the hoops even though they are the ones who called me. Who would scam to make a payment on a car that isn't thiers with a phone that isn't thiers? read more

DO NOT finance your new car through Flagship Credit Non-Acceptance. They have such a strict policies for changing making payment arrangements or changing payment dates its insane! I imagine they do this to generate revenue. When I spoke to a customer support "manager" he offered and confirmed a payment extension. Funny thing was the payment extension I requested WAS NOT accepted and furthermore did not receive a notification. Extremely unprofessional financial institution so watch out! They will not do you any favors over the course of your loan. read more

i would give zero stars if i could its so unfortunate that i have to deal with this company for the next few years regarding my car. coming from a customer service background i can not believe how incompetent and lazy this companys customer service and managers are. Fraud, lies and penalties for early payment in full even thou not allowed thru contract. Good Luck understanding rep's. I think you are transfered over seas somewhere when you call. Being charged 540$ for one day and told simple interest but they cant justify the amount. Won't even try! Max should be around 20$ interest. Was told at time of payment I would receive title within month. But a month later I receive bill. Payment was over phone. Paid fees to make payment. When buying a car from any dealership in the country please be sure they don't offer this company's financing. I will never do business with this company again. I sent them my last and final payment and all of a sudden they tell me they didn't get it. I'm so thankful I used my bank's bill payment system to send it. They cashed the check my bank sent and when I called them 3 days after they received the payment they told me to just wait and see if the payment posts, and this was the last day the payoff quote was good through. Normally the payment is updated 24 hours after the payment is received but all of a sudden they didn't receive the final payment. read more

Horrible Straight up do not finance here if you do not have to. They will not answer your questions due to their "procedure". Bottom line traded the car in and was mailed out 2 weeks ago. And flash forward to now no payoff received. I'm not a car finance guy but I do now they do not take that long. Over priced, horrible customer service. They are happy to help take your money. Their fax policy is it takes 24-72 hours to fax something; is this the 90's? One rep told me they can fax that day. Called back the next day since I didn't have the fax number and the rep + her higher up both state it takes 24-72 hours. Reps kept using past tense "I was going to help you" "We were going to help" . So I took it as they already made their minds up and weren't going to help me. Now I can't get tags for my car to drive til next week (when the fax gets done with dial up). Please avoid. read more

This is the worst bank for you to refinance your car. The first 3 years is just pay interest. The principal never goes down. That's why they give you 100 pages to read with small letters. Be careful. Payments are not posted in a timely manner. My check payment cleared 4 days ago and they still have not posted it to my account. They will not respond via email. Worst company possible. I refinanced my loan to get out of having to deal with flagship and the terrible customer service. They falsely reported my payment to the credit bureaus as being 30 days late when they had received and processed my payoff and it was not 30 days late. I have been wanting to review this company for over a year, just wanted to wait until I received my title free and clear. Noticed I said over a year. I financed with them via dealership in early 2018, made my payments and was up to date as of March 2021. Still owed about 16K at that point. I got in a real bad accident, and the car was damaged badly. I was fine, still financially able to make my payments, but I was advised by the adjuster that the vehicles may be totaled especially if there was frame damage. After that news I called them and explain that I was waiting on the adjuster before making my next payment. Not their problem at all, I just thought I would save myself a few bucks by waiting it out. My first day late they called. I explained again and said that I'm not facing any hardship I just want to see it out and I'll pay it once I hear back. These ppl called my phone every day, nonstop and from different numbers. Given the situation, I go to the dealership to try and get a new car because I no longer wanted the one I had, when the dealer called to get my pay off balance, some guy ask to be put on speaker so I could hear, he had the nerve to ask when I will be getting with him to make my payment because I am behind. I thought that was so rude and embarrassing. A few days go by, and I get the news the car won't be totaled. They happen to call me again asking for the payment. I said every time you call I explain, and the person says they will put it in the notes, so no one continues to call me. This guy says he doesn't see anything except missing payments. He was extremely smug, and I explain to him how I feel like they handled the whole process unprofessionally. I know I should have paid anyway but at the time I was looking to pocket the money and let the insurance company pay. This guy says exactly, have a good day and hung up in my face lol. I was so heated, but I just laughed. Logged on and paid my current and past due all in one. Fast forward to July 2021, I am done with them, I get a cashier's check to pay my vehicle off. I was short a day of the payoff by like $17 so after that hassle of going to a money gram to make a $17 payment I sent them the check. A week or two later my account is $0 balance, paid in full. Now I'm just waiting on my title. I was eligible for a discount with my insurance company for owning my vehicle, provided I show proof of the title. 2 months go by and still no title, I call them, and they say they will send it. Ok why didn't you send it immediately? 2 more months go by and still no title. I call back and someone assures me it will be sent now. We are now in October. Still no title. I keep getting notices from my insurance company thinking they are just being impatient. But I finally get a notice that they voided the discount, and my monthly bill went up $50. Now I am upset. I called Flagship and they told me the title was sent last October. So, I'm upset because I'm thinking it got lost in the mail. I explain that to my insurance company and they tell me I need to do a lost title with the DMV. Call DMV and they tell me my title has not even been printed or moved. So, I call Flagship back, they swear to me it was sent to my address last December. Not certified mail. It might be lost. So, I submit a lost title form with the DMV. They send me a later saying to contact flagship and have them send me the title as I cannot get a duplicate title if the former lien holder was still in possession of it. It is not considered a duplicate unless I received it and lost it. At this point I need to talk to someone in person, so I go all the way to the dealership in my hometown where the vehicle is register 6 hrs. away (I'm military) and they say the title was just mailed November 7, 2022. Sure enough I received the title a whole 16 months later. They had been lying to me nonstop. I think the only reason they sent the title is because the DMV got involved and inquired about it. Why would they do that? Because I wouldn't continue to overpay for a vehicle for an extra 3 years. They are rude, grimey and lack professionalism. At least the people I dealt with. I do recall making a payment with one lady who was really nice, funny and professional. That was one time out a few. Oh and don't even bother with the website contact, they will never get back with you, I have too much personal information in my conversations to post screenshots, but they will not respond, and if your account is no longer active, you can't even speak with anyone. I had to call in as a dealer from the dealership to get through. read more

If I could give zero stars, I would definitely give zero. DO NOT USE THEM!!! They gouge you with their high rates and I understand that you may have to use them because of your credit score. Just know, they gave me bad information, I was running late on my payment, although I was going to pay it by the 29th day, so that it is not a 30 day late that will hit your credit report. I went online, they said they had customer service people available on Saturday and Sunday to call in. I went to pay this on Sunday (29 days late, not 30). I called in during the hours they stated they were open. It said they were closed. I tried to go online to make a payment, but their system was trying to charge me for two months and would not let me charge for only 1 month, I didn't have two payments I could make, so I was left waiting till Monday morning to call in. I did this, they took payment and told me because of the bad information online, that they would not show this as a 30 day late. THEY LIED!!! I have a 30 day late. I have disputed this and they will not work with me. BAD BUSINESS. If you do something wrong, just make it right. It is simple. They are uncooperative and do not care. read more

This is essentially a predatory loan company and while their services can be useful, you should be aware that they will use every excuse they can think of to mess you up. My first payment is due tomorrow; yesterday I set up Automatic payments for every payday and then made a second one time payment to make sure the entire first payment was paid on time. Today I check my account and only the one time payment came out. The website won't allow me to make a payment so I called to make the payment and after being disconnected mid-call by their phone system LITERALLY 10+ times, I was able to get far enough into the automated payment process to find get an automated message stating you can only make one payment in a 5 day period, which they gave no clear notice of when I was trying to set up the second payment. even when I checked after both payments were set up it showed them both for the same day but they didn't process the payment. use these Guys if you must but make sure you pay on time and pay extra so you finish the loan early and save interest bc they will take very chance they can to put more fees on you.
