I kinda just freaked out a bit when I saw this company only has one star. I got a loan thru a Ford dealership with this company last year. I have nothing bad to say about them at all. They have been easy to work with and I have had nothing but a good experience with them. I purchased a car to rebuild my credit and for that reason only I financed it. I needed to show the loan, payments etc on my report to help me raise my score. I understood that my score was not great when I applied for the loan and expected to pay a higher interest rate due to my score being average and not excellent, yet! After a year my score has increased as planned and I have had zero issues with them. I have made every payment early and intend to continue to do so and will trade in the car or pay off way early and would use this company again and this time hopefully at a better rate! read more

Flagship Credit is a front for a viscous insurance company located in Ontario,CA. It is not a collection agency as they portend to be. It's an insurance company who has ties to one of the federal acronyms, i.e. DEA, DOJ. They use this front to harass and ridicule elderly patients who use opiates for pain relief. If you get a call from this non existing company. Do not pick up the phone. Instead report it as the scam that it is.When I first started getting calls from them I thought, what bill did I not pay. I called back and challenged them, they quickly folded and promise to take me off their list. Of course they continued to call. Even though I've blocked them from my number they continue to attempts their harassing calls. IT'S A SCAM, DO NOT ANSWER THESE CALLS read more

My mother has been in the hospital for 60 days fighting for her life after testing postive for Covid-19. They had no problem with me making her car payments over the phone and not being on her account but as soon as I call to see if I can defere some payments because I can't keep up with her bills and mine its a problem. They said that they need to talk to the account holder to do so. She's on a ventilator and can't talk so now what?? This is the only financing company that I have dealt with that has made this process so difficult. And they say they are here to assist those affected by the virus. read more

I don't not recommended these people. They are useless and not helpful. They received a payoff the my vehicle and I had to make a payment before they could process it and they owe me a refund on a over payment. And it's practically been 30 days they said I should receive a refund and guy said it might sometimes take up to 90 days. But yet they receive the pay off and they already sent out the title but not my refund. I'm so fuckin pissed off with these people. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THEM. read more

Flagship has been an absolute nightmare to deal with. My car was recently totaled on 2/16/17. The insurance side was a breeze. Then it came to the gap. I CANNOT tell you how frustrating every single cal has been to this institution. I need to forms from flagship and I have YET to receive them. It is now 4/06 I've received absolutely nothing from them and my gap has received some of the paperwork but not a full copy? WHO DOES NOT KNOW HOW TO WORK A COPIER?!?!? I just got of the phone with one of them and he was an absolute pain saying "HEY LADY" like really? You want me to stop being angry? Give me some actual help instead of telling me information that isn't even valid in the first place. I am so sick of this company and all of their employees I've had one decent person named Justin but no one else. My advice. DO NOT use this loan company ever. read more

After purchasing a car in Dec. 2020, I was landed with Flagship Credit Acceptance to make my car payments. At first, I was happy with my payment amount and their service...UNTIL I called in Jan. 2021 to make my first payment and was told, "Your first payment isn't until February." Well, I made the payment anyway, and the next month I was told the same thing, all the way up until March. Well, I made my March payment and was told, "Since you paid a month in advance, you don't need to make a payment in April." I was EXTREMELY proud of myself, as this was my first proper car from a proper car dealership. Well, April comes and goes and then I continue my payments in May all the way until my latest payment in Feb. 2022. GUESS WHAT?! A lady calls me today, March 2022 and tells me, "Miss you are missing a payment for April 2021 and it's 23 days overdue." WTH?! So, I go into my records that are precise as the sun shines, pulled up April and read the note and situation to the woman on the other line. She digs through the records and couldn't really answer my questions correctly. THEN, she tries to weasel the money out of me and I insist I'll be paying on time as I usually do and will call in to make the payment. I then asked, "If I was truly missing this April 2021 payment, why did the company wait ALMOST ONE YEAR to contact me about the missing payment?" And what a surprise, NO EXPLANATION. I informed her that after I make these two payments, I'll be going with another financing company. She retorts, "At least we didn't put it on your credit." WTH? Now, this entire situation makes me think that I can't trust Flagship Credit Acceptance or their employees to be honest about customer accounts. If you make a mistake, push the pride aside, and contact the customer right away. DON'T WAIT A YEAR!!!! THAT'S UNREASONABLE AND IRRESPONSIBLE!! read more

This is the worst company to do business with. Do not go to them ever. I called them because I would be unable to make my payment on time but would make it the next week. Instead of informing me that I had 10 days before late fees applied they moved my due date and now, do to my pay cycle, I am unable to make the payments without late fees. Shady and unethical. read more

If I could give a rating of 0 I would. Customer service is extremely unhelpful. The representatives lack adequate knowledge and need more training. Therfore, I try not to call. However, recently I called regarding a simple question concerning my statement and the representative initially wouldn't give me an opportunity to ask the question. After I stressed how ridiculous the call was going, I was finally given the opportunity to ask my question. Also, the billing statements need an improvement. Statements lack essential information that other finance companies provide. The website is very vague regarding billing information. read more

This company is so incredibly difficult to work with. No one is on the same page about anything. We submitted a 2 party check made out to us and them from our insurance and they want me to have the repair places submit them the invoices to pay. However, the company i'm using doesn't handle business that way since it's technically not a insurance pay at this point because insurance has already paid out. The lady I talked to when I called to find out their process for this told me to find a company that deals with insurance. The company I'm using does deal with insurance and I explained to her the situation and she was incredibly rude about it. Now I have to pay out of pocket and wait for these people to refund me money I should have already had to pay the repair people with because PAYMENT IS DUE AT TIME OF SERVICE not when the finance company wants to send the payment. read more

I can see why this place has one star. I work at a dealership and we paid thousands to close a loan. The company cashed the check but never bothered to release interest. It has been such a battle. If anybody suggests you use this bank - run! read more

This place is useless for anything other than to give you a high rate and payment . If you are a sub par borrower, your choices are very limited . I had sub par credit but was able to fairly quickly work to pay off and build better credit and needed pay off quotes and paid letters and they refuse to do anything outside of their normal process , so if you are looking to buy a home and need a document from them , count on it taking a lot longer and being a lot more difficult than it should be , to get the document . I have had many car loans , paid many off and never have I had such a difficult time getting documents and proof of that . The people are mostly nice but refuse to transfer or try to actually be understanding of a situation . DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY read more

I am paying this company now with the current vehicle I have, and let me tell you. I did fall behind about 4 months due to getting laid off of work and I was trying to work cash gigs to make up for it. But it was funny that 1 representative will call today and talk to me about my, behind payments and I would tell them that I could make a small payment and schedule the day and the representative will say "okay so I noted it here on your account that you will be making this payment on this day" I will tell them yes and that's it. Couple days later another representative calls and says to me the same thing that I just talk to the other representative about couple days before. So one day I asked if they are all working for the same company because they are obviously not getting the same information. I mean I don't know what kind of scam is going on here but that is really annoying, because they call me at least 3 times in the same week and ask me and tell me the same damm thing. read more

Avoid this company at all cost if you are capable of doing so. I actually refinanced with this company and been a loyal customer for about 2 years prior to COVID-19. I knew what I was signing up for with the refinanced loan, and had no issues making payments on time until I lost my job. They are refusing to give longer than a 1 month "extension" for payments, even though the pandemic has lasted way longer than anyone anticipated (longer than 1 month Flagship, that means a lot of people have been out of jobs and need to pay for life processes like food and shelter before they can focus on bills. You know, basic necessities? Or maybe don't. Probably company full of robotics or aliens that don't require any of that). Even more so if you're in certain areas such as California where citizens are dealing with some of the state's record breaking heat waves and can't even turn on their fan because their earth is on fire (2 of their largest fires in history, yes I actually pay attention the news) happening during the pandemic BLM and recovery. The customer service is rude and condescending while "assisting" you with said extension; for example saying that they don't know if it will even be approved. So now that we don't even have a stimulus package for unemployment, if that is all you have we are all pretty much screwed because they refuse to help. I like the comments "if I can give zero stars I would" but to be quite frank, take away stars already given to them, because they handled this situation similar to how our president has handled the pandemic, without empathy, sympathy or any -pathy's (yes GNs, before you blow your little noggins off your freaking neck, I'm aware that '-pathy' is not necessarily a word; but tidbit from dictionary "a combining form occurring in loanwords from Greek, where it meant "suffering," "feeling). I really hope companies like this get a taste of their own medicine when they are in a bind and unable to find funding (verge of bankruptcy anyone?). Oh and just in case they actually make it this far in this review, which I doubt, I'd just like to post their message that was a total lie. If I could I would not give them NOTHING! WATCH !!! them they are not even listed my the BBB. I thought I got lucky because my credit was low and they financed me for my car loan. DON'T do it. I noticed that my monthly payment had been increased by $40.00 per month without any notice or explanation. On 05/03/2021 I contacted them I spoke with a male by the name of Josh. When I inquired about the extra $40.00 he first tried to act like my payment was the original $399.98. O was not about to let him play head games. It had been removed from my account. He told me I had some extra charges but did not know why, it did not say so. When I told him I have a signed contract with my the amount I am to pay. To charge a customer any different than her contract is not legal. He then got rude and stated why did you pay it then? It had also showed that my Payment for 05/2021 was increased as well for the same amount. I ended the call before I began screaming obscenities. Went back to the site and noticed they had changed it back for 5/2021 Payment. I began asking about my pay off. Because on 03/2021 the clerk that took my account told me My pay off, but then said wait until that payment cleared. But it went up over $1500.00 verses down. I have been blocked from making any.payments on line, Josh told me I can't do auto pay I must call my payments in. I am a 61 yr old woman disabled and this company is now harassing me all because I questioned the increase on my payments without any legal notification. I really need a lawyer. This is going to be a long and detailed post, in hopes that this will help someone else avoid this situation by going through a different bank. When I got a loan from Flagship I was approved for $325/month with a 14% interest rate, while buying a car through a dealership. It got approved and I got my first payment slip saying that I owed $480/month at 21% interest rate. I immediately called furious and after many phone transfers and days and days of calling, nothing was fixed. I basically said **** it. I was hung up on numerous times and no one spoke English. Making my first payment I had to call in and pay because they would not set up my payment portal. Paying by phone costs $10 extra. Which is ridiculous because they said no imposed fee by Flagship for paying that way. They finally got the portal set up and I set my account up for automatic withdrawal on my payment date, the 23rd of each month. They never would pull it out of my account until after the 28th of each month saying that I was late every month, which affected my credit. Along with that, my car was totaled just 5 months after having it (another drivers fault). I bought the car for $19,000 and at the time of the accident I only owed $15,000. The car was Totaled on Feb 10, 2016. I signed over Power of Attorney that next day to insurance after Flagship saw the damage and sold the car outright to my insurance company. My insurance paid $9700 on March 3, 2016 (remember my payment was due Feb. 23, 2016, but car was sold February 11, 2016). I got hit again with credit saying I had not made a payment. I needed a document from Flagship, my payoff history, so that I could start my gap claim. Flagship closed my account so I had no way to access unless I called in. I called in numerous times and got hung up on. When someone did try to help me out they said they could only mail me the document (not fax or email.) One month later I received the document and it was torn in the middle so I couldn't even use the document to submit to gap claim. (Gap worked with me and let me use my bank account to prove payment history since Flagship was unreliable.) Gap Claims then took over and they were suppose to pay the rest of the payment off. Gap called me and said that they sent the payment to Flagship and that Flagship received it on April 4, 2016. Once again, I got hit on my credit, this time saying my payment was 60 days late. I called furious to Flagship asking why I kept being hit. They said, "Well interest has still been adding up since January 23, 2016 (last payment I made). Gap claims won't cover that, so you owe us $1901.56." WTF???!!! I signed over Power of Attorney and my name has been off the car since February 11, 2016. They are just freaking out that they lost the chance to get all the interest I would have paid. They will not accept my calls now. They keep hitting me with missed payments. When I call in, if I manage to speak to someone I say my name and get hung up on... or they would tell me my vehicle is going to be repossessed if I didn't make a payment today. I told them to go right on ahead. I wish them the best in finding the car. *** Idiots!!! This is the worst financing company I have ever gone through. Do not go through Flagship if you do not have to. Refinance as soon as possible if you can. read more

On yesterday he was hallowing saying they can't keep sending us emails but the entire 4.5 yrs we were getting reminds and everything else to pay them. I was told by Ms.Schenecta that they don't reply to emails, they just go in your file. The reason that they don't respond via email, is because its lies and trash they are saying. I was also told that once, I make the final payment, that my car titles would come to our email address. Only for Ms. Schenecta to tell me that's not how this is handled. I originally purchased a car using this company five years ago when it was then car finance now flagship credit acceptance. I recently paid off my car November 3, 2019 and was informed that I would be sent my lien release as well as my title in 30 days....well that time elapsed so I called December 21 and was informed that the title was sent to the incorrect address but I updated the address it was to be sent to the day the car was paid off. I was then assured that a title would again be sent out in 30 days that takes us to January 21, and I got nothing called the company back and was informed that the tile was sent out but there's no tracking number but they would email me a copy of my lien release and also send it in the mail. Well you guessed it I've received nothing, I called again today and explained this is a pressing matter and was then informed I would have an email by the end of today...and nothing.
