My daughter loves coming to the office as well and now my son. When we met Dr. Fullerton both my kids decided working with him was best. He is extremely knowledgeable and professional and friendly. I am one who travels far when I trust a doctor/dentist because it is very very tedious for me to…read morerebuild that rapport again - I used to drive from Houston to Austin for the day just for a cleaning or to see my derm/OB/GYN, etc. I originally went to a dentist in Midtown when I moved back to Houston and he performed a filling, but postoperatively, I felt a sharp pain when I chewed on soft or crunchy foods. So, I went back to them for a reevaluation and they did not see anything and attempted to file my upper tooth down thinking that was the issue. The sharp pain persisted and I LOVE MY CRUNCHY FOODS, so I decided to take a day trip to my Austin dentist and they performed these tests to see if my teeth were misaligned and they took a look, but found nothing again. Unfortunately, the pain persisted, so I googled another provider and came upon Dr. Hassid. Him and his staff are so friendly, personable, and accommodating. Being that I had a recent XR with my dentist in Austin, he waived that fee for me as a new consult as well and just had my Austin dentist email my XR results over to his office so he can evaluate it - saved me tons of $$. He ended up fixing my filling and thanks to him, it's now pain free for me to consume my favorite food texture again.

The dentist also talked me through what to look for when buying toothpaste and mouthwash, and provided scientific explanations for which products work best. The new patient/scheduling process is very smooth, as well. I simply filled out the new patient form online, got an email the next day from the office to schedule my appointment (which worked great for me, since I often can't take phone calls during the day), and was ready to go. They were the only orthodontics place in town that would accept transfers! Not only that, but after…read more3 years of braces, my teeth are now as straight as a railroad track! They were extremely sensitive to my needs every time that I came into their office and they did things in a timely manner. There were times where I was concerned about my teeth and the progress and they would set up extra appointments for me to sit and speak with the orthodontist one on one to ease my worries. They were wonderful and I would highly recommend them! Also, I noticed that they were extremely clean in their workplace and I really don't know any other orthodontist or dentist in town that would have a mini movie theatre, PSP's at every station, flat screen televisions, and two video game stations! There office is truly mom and kid friendly! Since I was an A&M student, I wasn't able to receive their service of picking up and dropping off students at school, but that is also something to think about for the parent's that are constantly on the go!

It was indicated that about $400 after insurance. Exam was thorough and cleaning was standard. However, my out of pocket was closer to $1200 and their justification was insurance didn't pay as much as they thought it would. I was also shocked to see they charged over $1000 for a cleaning. So be aware.
