I have refinanced several times, using different companies, and Nick has been the best. He provided a breakdown of different options with easy to understand tables so I could clearly see the breakdown of my first payment. It made it very easy to select what option was best for me. No other refi guy had presented options this way before. There were no hidden fees or costs, the final cost of the refi was exactly what he said it was going to be. I hope I never have to refi again, but if I do will certainly use Nick. I highly recommend! read more

Bless Nick Lekas- he was easily one of the best parts of our entire home search/buying process! He came highly recommended by one of our friends, and we can see why. Extremely timely/responsive, approachable, and patient! He explained every part of the loan process to us, and was always available to us via phone and/or email to answer our questions and offer guidance. His knowledge and experience was greatly appreciated. Our personal job/finances are a bit less conventional, and he was able to find a great alternative for us. Even now, with our home already purchased, he continues to be a willing and helpful resource. We absolutely recommend! read more

I would definitely recommend FK Capital Fund. Nick Lekas is an extremely intelligent and resourceful business man. To top it off, he's extremely easy to work with. He was so helpful and informative throughout my entire escrow. Not only was he knowledgeable with loans and financing but he was extremely familiar with the other aspects of the real estate transaction. There were many times when he was more informative, proactive, and helpful than my real estate agent. He took the time to educate me on the different rates and points available at the time of my loan. By asking me a few question, he helped me select the best loan to meet my financial objectives. My escrow experience went as smoothly as it did, thanks to Nick. Since my escrow, I have referred some folks to Nick that had some credit issues and he was able to inform them of loan options that were available which had reasonable rates and terms. I would recommend the FK Capital Fund team for any new mortgage or refinancing needs. read more

Thank you Nick from the bottom of my heart for all of your help to get the loan approved for my clients (I am a realtor). You qualified my buyers for a VA loan and we competed with 14 Cash offers and Conventional loans. I loved your communication with the listing agent; without you, our offer to purchase would have never been accepted. You were also available on week-ends to answer our questions. Thank you. It has been a pleasure to work with all of you! See you on the next one. read more

I have had the opportunity to work with Nick several times. He always has been great at finding the financing necessary for me in the past. This last time he was a miracle worker, a consultant, and a therapist. Not only did he lock in amazing financing for a rental property he helped me through a really dirty deal that took 6 months to close. I would choose 10 stars if I could! read more

I've worked with Nick Lekas on multiple loans over the past three years. And even when hiring an additional mortgage broker for a tough, iffy, situation, Nick by far bent over backwards to roll-up his sleeves and carve out a solution - not just a solution, but a very winning solution. I have recommended his services to everyone I know who might possibly need a creative, kind, insightful, patient mortgage broker. If you choose to engage his brilliance, you will be so grateful you did. He is simply the best. read more

I don't know where to begin. Our project is Fourplex in city of Los Angeles. For three weeks, our mortgage broker and us were contacting multiple lenders in and out of state, but the terms and rates being offered to us were nothing close to what we expected. In midst of all this a friend of mine advised us to call FK Capital. The terms, points, and rate they offered were the most competitive compare to their peers. At first we doubt they might change the terms/rate down the road, but everything they promised stayed EXACTLY the same throughout the close. The first time we called FK Capital I talked to Nick Lekas. As opposed to a lot of lenders who ask you 100 questions and want to see 50 comps, they precisely knew all the ins and outs of our project. By the time my partner and I found FK Capital we were running against time. I explained the situation to Nick, and he promised us 15-20 days close. Despite some delays and hiccups from the escrow and title companies, he was able to fund the loan in 19 days. If it is your first project give them a call, I guarantee you won't be able to find better LTV, points and rates anywhere else. If you are already working with other lenders, give them a chance too. They have a stellar reputation in the industry. read more

I simply do not have the words to adequately express how good Nick Lekas is as what he does. My financial situation was not ideal, and it was making it extremely difficult to get a mortgage offer. After dealing with 3 brokers who flat out failed to call me back after our initial consultation (despite stating in that consultation that they could definitely get me what I needed), I spoke with Nick and he was refreshingly direct, honest and blunt in his assessment. He promised nothing but said that he would see what he could do - basically he set my expectations where they should be and then went on to over-deliver, securing a mortgage for us that exceeded all of our hopes. The ability and courage to deliver honest, reliable information, good as well as bad, is a rare quality in the modern world, where people prefer to ghost you rather than tell you what they think you may not want to hear. In addition, his professionalism, attention to detail and constant follow up emails and calls until every "i" was dotted and every "t" was crossed was literally world class! If you need a mortgage, stop whatever else you are doing and call Nick Lekas! read more

FK Capital Fund was a lifeline sent from heaven. I would like to thank Nick Lekas for an awesome job. He knows his business and what he said he could do if I did my part was pure truth. I was at my wits end with no hope in sight as another lender had pulled out after docs were signed and funding was on the horizon. However, Nick came in the picture and worked seemlessly to get my loan through as my 2nd loan was out of time and needed to be paid in full. Thank you to Nick for helping me save my home and being a conduit for my families future. Forever Grateful Michelle L. San Francisco read more
