He said he didn't have a mask saying, its my body and started walking toward me. He showed up late for the appointment also saying he didn't have my phone number. I gave them my phone number when I made the appointment. I told him to come back when he had a mask. After he left he called me (I thought he was going to apologize) but he told me he would not be coming back out and was very rude again. It turned out the person that came out was one of the owners!!!!!!!!! His costumer relations suck!!!! I am 78 year old and subject to complications for C-19 so why take chances??? The office personnel were very nice and did a good job on their end. I will never use them again. I am updating this review. It turns out the person that came to my house was not the owner as I was told. The owner Kyle called me as soon as he found out this had happen. Kyle offered to replace my glass free to makeup for the anguish I went through dealing with Rxxn. He sent out two other guys to measure the window (wearing Masks). Today they installed the new glass in a very professional manner.(wearing masks) My opinion of Murray Glass has change 180 deg. From the worst to the best. A lot of businesses would not have taken the time to make this right but Kyle did. He is a first class guy and Murray Glass is the best!!!

However I am still waiting for the cracked frame to be replaced which he said was ordered in June. Since I paid him at the beginning of August he no longer returns phone calls or text messages and it will be October in a few days . Their bid came in pretty much the same as another company, but Jeff just seemed like a good guy. No sales tactic, just basically, this is what we offer, this is the cost, this is what we will do, etc. And I HATE pushy sales people. First bid, finial measurements, and installation he arrived early each time. We had 10 windows and a sliding glass door that they installed, took Jeff and two others a little over 6 hours for the whole thing. Any future work I need, I will for sure contact them.

I contracted to have Savage glass install a door last Spring. It wasn't until this year when I had…read morea window replaced by a different company that I realized the extent of the damage. When they pulled out the old window above the sliding glass door that Savage glass had installed, there was so much rot above the door that they couldn't put the new window in until they cut out and reframed the window. Since the sliding glass door and picture window above it were only separated by 4 inches they had to cut the stucco around the window and door to assess the extent of the damage. When they started pulling away the layers everyone was in awe of the band aid job that Savage glass had done on their install. It was like a sailor's convention. The amount of profanity they let rip was at a new level. When I say everyone I mean the window installers, the stucco contractor who was there to finish the work after the window installation, and a general contractor. The original installer for Savage glass had cut around the stucco and cut the tar paper around the door. It was never patched so that it gave water an avenue into my house. I had mentioned a leaking problem to the estimator and installer before the door ever went in, but the leak was a small drip in the picture window above the door that we would see during rain storms. There was no leaking from the door to the inside of the house. After they installed the door, it leaked along the entire door, filling a gallon pitcher, during a moderate rain storm, on the inside of the door on one side. On the other side we had to use a large cake pan to catch the other drips because the leaks spanned about a foot to a foot and a half. I called them after the installation last year when I noticed the leaking and all they did was pass the blame on to the stucco contractor. When Savage installed the new door, it didn't exactly fit because it was slightly smaller than the original door. Instead of fixing the obvious problems and framing the door so that it would be a tight fit, they slapped on some particle board and flashed over the door onto the stucco, trapping water behind the door and against the bare wood because the paper had been cut. The other problem that resulted in not reframing the door correctly was that the door now stuck out more than the window just above it and so when it rained, the door acted as a dam. The rain would come down the side of the house and sit on top of the door where it would sit and wait until it found a way to the inside of the house. The day after I discovered the extent of the damage, I went over to Savage glass and talked to Bret, the manager. He did all the right things acted shocked and appalled. He denied that his installer cut the stucco, said they never do it. Until the contractor who was there when he did it, confirmed that his installer did indeed cut the stucco. After that he showed the proper amount of empathy which I'm sure turned into apathy once I left. He said he'd send out some of his guys to look at the damage. The guys never showed up and I was left holding the bag for the thousands of dollars it cost to have someone else fix and properly install one of Savage Glass's doors. I've seen many other companies with the same model as Savage operates under. Get as much money as you can as quickly as you can and customer service be damned. I can't imagine repeat customers are an issue that Savage has to worry about.

I do not typically leave business reviews. I am posting this for others to be informed and to…read moresummarize the service issues I encountered. When obtaining quotes for a windshield replacement, this company was not the lowest bidder. I selected them because they represented themselves as providing high-quality service and cited a national accreditation. Service was scheduled for December 4, 2025. Prior to the replacement, I informed the technician that a dash camera was mounted on the windshield. He stated this would not be an issue and that he would remove it, with the understanding that I would reinstall it after the replacement. During the installation, the technician cracked the windshield from the interior while attempting to attach the rearview mirror. I understood that mistakes occur, and it was agreed that the windshield would be replaced the following day. On December 5, 2025, the windshield was replaced a second time. After the technician left, I discovered that the windshield wipers did not work. This occurred during a storm, and I had to wait over an hour for a third visit to correct the issue. I was informed that the wipers had not been reinstalled properly on the gearbox. After these visits, I was left to vacuum glass shards from the first broken windshield out of the vehicle. On December 21, 2025, when I attempted to reinstall the dash camera using the USB cable that had been left accessible near the headliner as agreed, the device did not receive power. It was later determined that the dash camera wiring had been damaged during one of the windshield replacements, causing a short and a blown fuse. The damaged wires appeared to have been twisted back together and tucked into the headliner, which was extremely concerning. On December 22, 2025, I requested a call from the business owner to discuss these issues. Instead, I received a text message stating that safety concerns are taken seriously and that I would be contacted shortly. No further contact occurred until January 7, 2026, when I was informed that the company would not accept responsibility for the wiring damage but offered a negligible discount for the windshield. I declined the discount and was seeking acknowledgment of responsibility rather than continued deflection. I can only hope this experience is an outlier. The attached video (explicative warning) shows the dash camera functioning at the time it recorded the initial windshield cracking during installation, and the attached photo shows the damaged wiring as discovered. There are additional and unfortunate details, but I am only summarizing the main issues and am ready to move on. Altogether, this turned into multiple appointments, follow-ups, cleanup, and troubleshooting that took far more of my time and energy than I could have ever imagined.

Big Disappointment. Long-time customer with Swayer (glass…read morereplacement, screen repair and large mirror install projects). But this last project installing high-end frameless sliding glass shower doors in two shower over tub applications did not turn out well: a $6800 investment for two shower door applications. Initially water under the doors the full length of the tub. I went back and they gave me clear plastic water dams to install under the doors. That stopped water flowing under the doors in the middle but leaks at the corners still were a problem. It would appear that perfectly straight glass door sides with plastic edge trim don't perfectly close gaps found in slightly imperfect tile walls. After multiple trips, additional suggestions of trim adjustment and additional caulking we still had leakage at corners. At the final trip back to the shop the personnel were clearly not happy to see me. Note that never once did they offer to come out and see what was happening with the $6800 doors. Was only told that they never had problems with leakage before. I was given some additional edging and sent on my way. Certainly not the type of service one would expect from a full-service glass shop. I suggest folks in the market for high-end product expecting follow-on customer service should look elsewhere.
