After he left he called me (I thought he was going to apologize) but he told me he would not be coming back out and was very rude again. It turned out the person that came out was one of the owners!!!!!!!!! His costumer relations suck!!!! I am 78 year old and subject to complications for C-19 so why take chances??? The office personnel were very nice and did a good job on their end. I will never use them again. I am updating this review. It turns out the person that came to my house was not the owner as I was told. The owner Kyle called me as soon as he found out this had happen. Kyle offered to replace my glass free to makeup for the anguish I went through dealing with Rxxn. He sent out two other guys to measure the window (wearing Masks). Today they installed the new glass in a very professional manner.(wearing masks) My opinion of Murray Glass has change 180 deg. From the worst to the best. A lot of businesses would not have taken the time to make this right but Kyle did. He is a first class guy and Murray Glass is the best!!!

The shower wall moves and bangs into the door, causing us severe anxiety because it will surely break. We called the office, and the guy was sooo rude and just hung up on us. We had another company come and take a look at it and they said it was not done correctly. Our only recourse at this point is to file a lawsuit because they said we are not fixing it. So very disappointing. We will need to pay another company to waterproof and correct their mistakes.

We had to rely on Donnie for that. We appreciate all the work he put in for us to solve crazy problems we had. Update: A couple more concerns came up related to communication. We will say that we are overall very happy with the finished changes on our home, but it is such a nightmare communicating with this company. Here are a few examples: 1) We asked for an update on our loan 2 weeks ago. We haven't heard back until today (the project is now finished) and the loan details do not match what we talked about. 2) We had scheduled to do the final touches on our bathroom 2 days ago. No one showed up. No one called. We had to reach out to reschedule. I wouldn't consider us unreasonable people. We know things happen. All we would want is for someone to call and say, "Hey, we can't make it today. I'm sorry." Closing Update: We did receive a final wrap-up call from Donnie, and he was very pleasant and reasonable to speak to and work with. We feel like they are going to make an honest effort to use the feedback we have given them to improve. Additionally, we spoke to Heather today in their office to work through some finance questions, and she was awesome to work with. We are very very happy with the quality of work that was done and how everything looks. The reason we deducted a star was because of the communication piece.

If I could throw another star their way, I would. But Yelp limits me to five. There's something magical about sitting by an open window, feeling the gentle breeze. I have not been able to experience that in the past few years, as the windows in my house have been broken and unable to open. So I finally bit the bullet and reached out to HomeStar Windows and Doors to get a bid to replace them. Dave came out to measure and gave me a bid promptly. He did not put on the pressure, but gave me options-"good, better, best" and thoroughly explained the difference. We decided to go through with the replacement and got on the schedule. We also decided to replace the blinds with shutters and asked to coordinate the installation to happen around the same time. Well, the windows were ready to be installed sooner than we anticipated, and Dave offered to cover the cost of having the old blinds taken down and reinstalled so we could go ahead with the window installation before the shutters. It also landed on a day that we would be out of town, so they offered to text me when they arrived and then again when they left for the day. It was nice to get those updates so I was aware of when people would be in my house. When we returned home, the new windows were in and all the old ones were taken away. It made my life easy! All I needed to do was put furniture back that I had moved for them. There were also some holes in walls that I'll need to patch that looked like had been made when the windows were removed. And now, I sit by an open window (that I was able to open with one finger rather than the gargantuan effort it used to take) and enjoy the nice breeze. I shouldn't have waited so long.

I showed Jarrod a photo of a type of towel bar handle I liked and he found a perfect match. Communication was awesome from Jarrod and Felicia in the office. The guys who did the install were polite, clean and fast. We had a small problem with a bracket rubbing against a tile and marking it up a bit. Felicia had someone out to adjust it the next day. We have been very happy with the look and the function of the glass itself, the door and the transom that vents for the steam shower. I mentioned the remodel from hell because I get anxious every time I use someone for a home project big or small after multiple bad experiences.
