I got shellac on my nails about a month or so ago. I was going to get dip powder but I didn't like their selection of colors. Definitely don't like that in order to get a manicure you have to sit at a "bar" which was uncomfortable for me. Otherwise the staff was great very accommodating & kind. Nails looked amazing & lasted 2 weeks. I would go back for shellac cause they were done really well. read more

Moved to the area in the fall and was looking for a nail salon close by that was hygienic and friendly. I go to Rush bowl next-door so I finally tried Fizz nails today. I was apprehensive because of the current COVID situation in Houston....The place is exceptionally clean, the staff very friendly. I had Bella for pedicure who was amazing and Luu did my manicure. I will absolutely come back and make this my new go to spot for mani/pedi read more

Went to this place right before all of the covid 19 stuff happened. I got a shellac manicure for $35. The service was great. The staff was friendly. My friends and I had complimentary mimosas. Also, a month later and my shellac polish is still on!! I will be going back once things open back up and trying out their pedicures as well. read more

Love coming here to get my pedicure! The people here always do a nice job. I also love how they actually soak off your nails. The aesthetic of the nail salon is beautiful and peaceful. Huge plus is that it's literally 2 minutes from where I live! read more

I am so disappointed in the service I received today at the Washington location. I went in for a pedicure and this has got to be the worst pedicure I've ever had. The water was steaming hot then way too cold. My tech's attention to detail was sorely lacking. I paid an extra $8 for callous removal and he spent less than 1 minute per foot doing so. The 5 minute massage was lackluster at best and consisted of him rubbing my calves lightly while looking out the window and around the salon. And my nails/feet look atrocious. I have leftover polish all over my toes, my nails are barely painted and the contour is beyond unpleasant looking. $46 wasted. I will not be returning. read more

Perfect mani and pedi for my engagement! Thank you to Bella and Julie for the great service!! My favorite place to get my nails done. read more

This is the first place I've found in Houston that does a truly amazing job! I've been to several places in river oaks and all over and my look is over. I get SNS and they make sure it's not too thick like so many places make that mistake. I also like my nails round and majority or the places do the square round even when I keep insisting more round. This place finally understands what a rounded nail should look like. I love the casual vibes of the nail bar too and the ladies are so welcoming and kind!! read more

Always great service and a pleasant environment. Meggie is great. She listens to what I want and makes it happen.

I came here about 3 weeks ago since this was the closest salon by my job. I was immediately greeted when I walked in by the receptionist which she was very friendly. The nail technician who was assigned to me seemed like she didn't want to do my nails as she kept asking about someone else to do them but they had an appointment. Upon sitting with her, I talked with her about the shape I wanted and told her to be careful with my cuticles because you can't push them back too far without cutting me (Which she told me she didn't understand what I meant, so I just dropped it) I knew something wasn't right when she didn't remove all the primer from my previous dip powder but she insisted that's the way it should be done. Next was the fact that I asked for almond shape which is a pretty typical shape for a normal nail salon but she also didn't understand what I meant by that. I tried to explain it's literally the shape of an almond but she told me she didn't know what I meant and then asked me to shape my nails. I was confused and even after shaping a few for her, she suggested I go back to my normal place and have them do it. At this point since the previous dip powder had already been removed, I didn't want to go without having my nails protected since they are fragile so I just told her to finish and I would have my regular place fix everything. An hour goes by and finally when I complain that I had to leave since this took way too long, another nail technician steps in and magically filed my nails to exactly what I asked for in the beginning within 5 minutes. I really wish I could have started over and had her help me instead because this experience was a nightmare. Yesterday when I went back to my regular salon to get a new dip powder set, it took my nail tech 45 minutes to remove what the previous one did. She put way too many layers and the biggest issue was the fact that she did not remove the previous primer so as she spent time trying to drill off the layers, we realized how damaged my nails became from that. Never. Going. Back. To Fizz Nails Lounge. Ever. read more

I really like to get pedicures here, but I got the worst dip manicure I have ever gotten here. 3 nails fell off within the first week and it's not been 1.5 weeks and 3 more have fallen off. read more

Fizz was great! I did a walk-in appointment on a Friday and they accommodated me and made me feel welcome. Their chairs have massagers in them and the salon itself is clean and spacious. My nail tech was nice and I was immediately asked if I would like anything to drink and then they checked on me regularly for beverages. I got a regular pedicure but they have a large menu of options for more deluxe pedis. They did a great job on my toes and I will definitely be going back for another pedicure! read more

Love it here! Clean place, friendly staff, reasonable prices, convenient location. This place has it all. Complimentary drink with a service is the cherry on top for me! Highly recommend! read more

Elaine is PHENOMENAL. She will take her time and make sure you are happy. She's also super entertaining! Ill never go anywhere else.

They took their time ($52 for mani/pedi), great place and my nails look great. I recommend. I would ask for organic, vegan nail polish options. They are great. I also parked somewhere I shouldn't have and they moved my car for me. I would recommend parking in the garage behind the salon. Must go back and ask for Alex! read more

if you're not Caucasian get ready to be treated differently. The lady at the billing was rude and indifferent!

Love coming here! I've never asked for a specific person to do my pedicures but Luu is absolutely amazing! I only go on days that she works! She makes sure to take care of her customers and give them top notch service! Ask for her next time you go in! Angie did a phenomenal job on my nails as well! Just an all around wonderful salon! read more

Not quite sure how this place has 4.5 stars... I made an appointment based on Fizz's reviews, but super disappointed with the quality of my mani/pedi. I gave 2 stars due to the ease of making an appointment and cleanliness of the facility. Gel removal, gel mani, and regular pedi in approx 45 mins... at first I was impressed with the efficiency, but quickly realized that's not a good thing in this case. Pedi- barely a cuticle trim, exfoliation was a piece of rough tape on a paddle, and (in all the years I've been getting pedis I've never had this happen) they made me put my own shoes on my freshly painted nails. What?! Mani- new polish is bubbled, and on my fingers, the edges of my nails are rough and not all shaped the same. Just looks sloppy. Maybe this is a one-off experience, but I'd hate for anyone else to waste their time and money. But at least it wasn't too much time... read more

This place is amazing! I went for a mani and pedi! After looking up several places I decided to give this place a try and I was not disappointed. The pedicure I got was soo good! I will definitely be going back! I was very satisfied! read more

Friendly Staff. Standard pedicure. Free valet parking. Massage chairs have lost their power and provide very light/soft kneading. The massage chair is usually what I look forward to the most when getting a pedicure. read more

I passed by this place on a whim and I'm SO glad I did! It's not your typical nail salon. Not your typical manicurist and I'm SO happy to have found this place. My old salon lacked the current and new trends and this place ROCKED! Dip that includes a halographic AND glow in the dark?! I am shook! I showed them my old dip nails and told them what I didn't like about them. They listened and I was so impressed. Just one example, I asked my old salon for a stiletto/almond shape, but got more like a amorphous blob. At this salon I got the perfect shape I've always wanted. I've been getting my nails done for years and I am glad to say this is my new GO TO! Side note: Union kitchen likes to take up parking spots for their valet by using orange cones or black plastic crates. Kick them over and park there anyways. Union kitchen doesn't have designated parking spots. I personally moved a cone/crate and parked there anyway. read more

Love love love this place! Great customer service, and great staff. So gorgeous inside! I've been a faithful customer for the past couple of years for both locations! They can do whatever design or shape i show them, always satisfied. Thanks Marie and Elaine! read more

Love!!! This is my go to nail place. All the girls are lovely and do a great job. Recommend you call ahead to make an appointment, especially on weekends. read more

Love the staff and my nails always look great. Such a cute place too.

The two stars are for how accommodating the salon was with my work schedule but that's all. My nails are a week old, I've been back to the salon to get two nails redone as they popped off the day after I got them done and now they are all completely off. I don't not recommend Fizz, the prices are high and they charge $15 for a cuticle trim in addition to the $45 for dip... I mean cmon. So awful! Save your money and go elsewhere! read more

I have been coming to Fizz since 2016 and I can't say enough about how awesome the entire staff is. The salon is always clean and everyone very welcoming. I have had the opportunity to get my nails done by many of the technicians but over the years my girls Alex, Julie and Elaine are my go tos! They do an amazing job on both hands and feet both gel and regular polish. I have had friends go for other services like dip, powder etc...and always happy with their outcome. Every does a great job and very professional yet fun and personable! They have competitive prices for the area and always up to date with the latest trends. And if they can't do what you ask for they learn so they can do it for you next time. Marie is the owner and she is very nice to all the clients and works hard to keep everyone satisfied with the services. I might be their number one fan but I think for as long as I've been a happy customer that says it all! read more

I've been going here consistently for 2 years. The staff is great. They always do a fantastic job on my nails. And the experience is always great. They offer drinks and good conversation. read more

amazing service! they are the only salon I've found that does gel x! they can do any designs and are so friendly.

The staff was nice and friendly. They shaped my nails really nice. Little wait time and cute interiors. However the color I choose turned out to be much lighter than the color I choose from the dummy nail palate. On questioning about the difference they said that is because they don't know how many coats are applied to the the dummy nails. I felt that if that is the case, it defeats the purpose of having clients choose the color from the nail palate. Hope that the problem lies only with the particular color that I choose. read more

I love this place. The location is perfect with plenty of parking and the staff is so friendly. They do a wonderful job every time my friend and I go! read more

I recently moved to the Houston area in search of nail salon that I could go to regularly. I am so picky when it comes to how it looks. I go for the narrow thin look. I got the shellac almond shaped set, and it looks amazing! ASK FOR ANGELA!!! She did an amazing job and was so thorough!!! Excellent service here! read more

Elaine did a great job on my nails. I was referred by a friend to Fizz Nail Lounge and I'm so glad I went. Elaine took her time and made sure I was happy with everything. I will definitely be back. read more

Very disappointed in this place! Went on a Monday afternoon at 3. By 6pm 2 nails were chipped. I got a regular manicure and pedicure. Nothing exciting. The foot mittens were odd and did nothing for my feet. The nail polish selection was limited and the actually nail polish appeared to be really old and was thick as it was applied. Not coming back! read more

My nails turned out looking decent but they didn't cut my cuticles so it looks like I've already had them done a few days. Also didn't do the lotion or hand massage. Paid $40 plus tip. I probably wouldn't go back read more

Literally the worst nail salon ever. They give you the wrong color choices. They don't provide the services that you pick and pay for on their menu. Skipping the massages, scrubs ect. Their rose peddle pedi is maybe on peddle deep in their cold water. Don't get me started on them doing dip...applied so thick that it pops off your nails the next day. This was my third visit here because it's right next to my house but I am officially done giving them a chance. read more

Not too bad! Came here for the first time on a Saturday. I feel like the prices were a bit too high for a full set with shellac. Enjoyed the mimosa. Didn't wait at all and they took me in right away as a walk in. Might come here again, but really was thrown off by the pricing. Nails still look great! read more

Great nail spot! Cute girly decor, reasonable prices, friendly staff and complimentary champagne (yay!).

This rating is based on parking not service. This was my second nail salon to try this day and could not find parking. Not sure if I will try again but I was done. Not sure why developers cannot understand Houston is NOT a walking or biking city. read more

Found my favorite new nail place! It's clean and everyone is super nice. They take their time and make sure to get it right.

Both my mom and I came here and we're not fans. We both had the gel dip powder done and cuticle/hang nail trimming isn't even included in the price, you have to pay extra. I don't understand what kind of place can offer a manicure and that doesn't include trimming your hang nails, no one wants fresh polished nails and ratty looking skin around it. That defeats the entire purpose of even getting a manicure. The lady trimmed my nails before doing the dip but didn't file them until afterwards. I asked her and she said that's how dip is done you file after. However, the shiny coat doesn't last long, and at the edges it's faded off to a matte look because it was filed whereas the rest of the nail bed was still shiny. The pedicure was nothing special, you can get better for less at the many other salons around. some of my toe nails were filed crooked and one wasn't smooth and had a little cut in it that I guess she accidentally nicked with the clippers so it kept catching my socks; I had to rip the corner of my toe nail off so it would stop catching while I was out. 2 stars instead of 1 because they were friendly and the place was clean, but the sub par quality of work and lack of a manicure including cuticle removal make this place not worth it. read more

First let me start off by saying that I have a nail salon I have been going to for YEARS! My husband gets his hair cut next to Fizz, so I figured I could try them out. I am super picky about my nails, yes... I am "that girl." I have had my nails dipped before, at my other place, and HATED THEM!!!! They were so bubbly and gross! When I came into Fizz, they assured me that the way they do their dip will not make them look all bulbous and crazy! Amber was my technician and is amazing!!!! I super hate getting my nails done, the whole process... however Amber knew exactly wha she was doing and quickly turned me into a "dip" believer! I will definitely be back and recommend Fizz nails to anyone! read more
