I wanted to continue to support Fizz spending $250 + month - not sure if they appreciate my business? Hope they contact me to make it right! I was told after 9 days it's normal to get a fill. My nails look fine BUT be very careful about the extra costs. The technician will do add-on services without communicating the extra costs. I got added an extra +$8 for callus treatment. Lite callus treatment is included but the technician didn't ask me if I wanted to do extra callus treatment. I also got charged +$10 for cuticle care. Apparently you have to pay extra to have your cuticles cleaned and the technician never asked. What manicure does not include some cleaning of your cuticles?!? And then they were trying to be rectify the situation by charging me $5 instead of $10 for the cuticle care. In the end, they apologized for the miscommunication and took off these add on costs. This is my first time at this location. I've been to their Shepherd one and I didn't have a problem with these extra costs. read more

I'm in Houston for a work trip and needed to get my nails down last minute before leaving again for a vacation in Europe. I got there shortly after they opened for a new set of acrylic (previously had but needed - new set) and a pedicure. I got in right away, no issues. The place is super cute with it's hot pink accents and butterflies. I had two techs working on my nails simultaneously. Both ladies did an amazing job. I wish I caught their names but sadly I didn't. The girl working on my nails, asked me what I was thinking and I told her and asked her opinion. She was helpful and actually did a colored acrylic instead of the usual clear/white with gel color on top. She said it's way better and the shape that I was looking for would go better than doing the thick gel. I'm glad she did, because they came out exactly how I wanted. Would definitely recommend. I normally go to another salon and get my dip powder and designs done. But came here last Friday since I was going out of town last minute and had to cancel my regular nail appointment. My girl that normally does my nails at the other salon is always booked a month in advance so I came here to get just a normal dip done instead. They did a decent job minus the fact that I told the technician in advance my left hand pinky is sensitive as it's still recovering from my finger being slammed. When she filed them she wasn't cautious and she cut me. That wasn't even why I gave a two star the reason is in less than a week my left thumb chipped and my nail actually broke from it! This has never happened before in all the times I've done dip anywhere else. I'm going back to them when they open today to see if they will fix it for me and I'll update the review then. Other than that the staff were friendly. Update: So I went in right when they opened and they were nice and understanding and fixed it for me. Just now one nail is shorter than the rest and it's also chunkier but it's better than the hot mess in the pictures. read more

This review would have been a 5 star except for the manager. I have used Fizz Nails on Washington for my nails for the last two plus years and have been very satisfied. There have been a few problems but they took care of them very quickly and politely. Today one of my nails came off while I was showering. Fizz had done a full set with gell polish for me. I was close to needing a refill any way and, since I had time decided to add a nice manicure. I didn't schedule an appointment but they usually have no problem with walkins and today was no different. The receptionist / manager was someone I had never seen before. I showed im the missing nail and said that I was planning to get a refill and a nice manicure so I assumed that the missing nail could be taken care of as part of the refill. He said something that i rook to mean that that was ok then told me to wash my hands while he got me set up. The technician did a great job and I am very happy with my nails (including replacing the one that was missing). And the manicure with hot towles and parafine was exactly what i was needing. When I went to pay, I noticed that I had been charged $5.00 for the nail repair and told the manager that I didn't think I should have been charged for the repair. He said it was policy and there was nothing that he could do about that and it was said with a lot of attitude. Things escalated a little from there with him saying that I should have mentioned this to the receptionist when I arrived and I pointed out that I did tell him. At that point I decided that this was all a waste of time and I paid the extra $5.00 and said that I might need to find a friendlier place and he sort of indicated that that was fine with him. After this, I would probably have just blown it off but what he did next was really not ok. The tip screen came up next on the credit card screen and he said, "You can just skip that" and reached for the machine to cancel the tip screen. I told him to stop and then I asked if he got any of the tip. He said no he does not get any of the tip but that the typ was for overal service satisfaction. So he was giving away the nail tech's tip even though I was very pleased with her service. That is not OK with me .... I gave the tip I normally would have given and will find some other way to make my displeasure with the services the manager known. read more

Today was my first time to visit Fizz, it's very cute, quaint and very pink on the inside. Parking was a breeze and they also offer complimentary tokens if you have to valet. Everyone from the receptionist to the nail techs were super sweet! Very friendly and personable...thank you Alex and Luu! My mani and pedi came out great and my friend went with a mani dip and luvd how they came out too. So the real test is - let's see how long everything lasts. But I will definitely be back just based on the customer service! First, the nail tech was on her phone the entire time, the Pedicure was nothing like it was described, and the the nail tech cut my nail too short and uneven. This was not fixable because she cut it so low the first time. They made no attempt to offer anything for this uncorrectable situation besose putting acrylic on the nail to even it out.
