Mikkel is a great one man band. He filled my yelp quote request in a timely manner and was the most affordable mobile repair guy in the HB area! At first I sourced him because I was going to be having brunch at pacific city and had shattered my screen the night before so I thought it would be an ideal time/place for him to come to me and I could just give him my phone for 3hrs or whatever time he needed and call it a day. That didn't work out due to scheduling but he was so responsive I rescheduled for a time when he could drop by my office in irvine later that week. He checked in a day before to make sure I remembered our booking, gave me an expected hour range so I could make sure I didn't need my phone (ie between 10-12pm) and then continued to check in with me as he was expected to arrive on the day of. He arrived, I set him up with a table at my office and about 20 mins later he had replaced the screen on my iPhone 7+ for $130! Of course I tipped him for being a good business owner but that didn't matter until..... I had an issue. The screen he put in was not cracked or a thing but the touch was having issues where I couldn't text properly and had to literally talk to text to get anything done. It was very frustrating BUT I remembered his 1-year warranty so I texted him about my issue and he came by my office (same very courteous scheduling and etc) and swapped the faulty screen for a new one free of charge. These are the kind of services I like to give my business to! I know it can be hard knowing who to trust. I made the mistake of first having the broken screen fixed at a mall kiosk and they used a fake screen that had a yellow hue and lost sensitivity. Terrible.
