A couple weeks ago our fridge was having an issue with the paddle for the ice/water sticking so I called him and we had a couple other small issues we figured we would get fixed at the same time. He charges a trip charge which gets applied to your repair if you decide to do it. His fee for fixing the first appliance is a flat rate plus parts. Additional appliances were also a flat rate but way less than the first item. So if you have a few things to do at once it saves you. He came out and diagnosed our issues and then ordered the parts needed and came back a few days later and fixed everything. He takes a variety of payment methods and warranties his work. He was so pleasant to have around and I'm normally not comfortable having people in the house. Even my dog liked him! *UPDATE* So, we sent out our dryers to the other place…read more We sent out the one we brought into Lockport Vacuum last. We got a call that it was ready yesterday. There he said that there was nothing wrong with the motors, in fact they were the right motors for that dog dryer. Unlike what Lockport tried telling us. Also, I knew I brought that dryer to Lockport Vacuum in the past for servicing, and the guy told me that I definitely did not, buy in fact I did. The place I took it to now, told me that whomever serviced the dryer in the past, put the wrong carbons in it, that they were too big, and that they just jammed them in there. To top it off they only charged me $108 to fix it, unlike the $348 that Lockport Vacuum wanted. I will not be using Lockport Vacuum for anything ever again.
