We had religiously cleaned the screen after each use, but the dryer came with the house, so we didn't really know how old it was. (Zach said 8-10 years.) Anyway, we called a little after lunch, and while Zach was at another job and picked up. He was able to sort of diagnose our problem over the phone and was able to get from Naperville to Westmont in less than 20 minutes. (I hope he didn't drive too fast.) *UPDATE* So, we sent out our dryers to the other place…read more We sent out the one we brought into Lockport Vacuum last. We got a call that it was ready yesterday. There he said that there was nothing wrong with the motors, in fact they were the right motors for that dog dryer. Unlike what Lockport tried telling us. Also, I knew I brought that dryer to Lockport Vacuum in the past for servicing, and the guy told me that I definitely did not, buy in fact I did. The place I took it to now, told me that whomever serviced the dryer in the past, put the wrong carbons in it, that they were too big, and that they just jammed them in there. To top it off they only charged me $108 to fix it, unlike the $348 that Lockport Vacuum wanted. I will not be using Lockport Vacuum for anything ever again.
