I was so impressed with his knowledge and attention to detail that I promptly re-booked him with a list of projects that needed to be done around my house. He has done everything from small "honey do" projects to oversized chandelier installations requiring scaffolding (and a little creativity and ingenuity to navigate a three story spiral staircase for installation), to a complete redesign, demolition and rebuild of our Hearth Room bar. I received a very reasonable quote for yearly service on my furnace and ac. I had not used them in the past so I was concerned for a long list of repairs needed but in fact they did not find any issues. I cannot speak to their normal service but I believe them to be a reputable company. read more

I had Vince come to my house and install an in wall dog door, external electrical box as well as soon maintenance to my deck. He did a fantastic job! The door and electrical outlet look as if they were placed there by the builder. I have hired a number of maintenance people over the years and Vince was easily the best. Fixxit (Vince Montoya) is an outstanding small business that specializes in home repairs and installations. I recently used Fixxit's services and do not have enough nice things to say about the ease of scheduling, as well as the professionalism Vince exhibited during the entire process. I initially discussed having Vince come to my home and replace 2 builder grade bathroom fans. The job was not as easy as it sounds, as neither location had easy access and required the replacement of the entire fan assembly. Vince came to my home at the agreed upon hour and after a quick review of the work I requested, he got to work. The first fan did have a few issues (electrical) but Vince figured out how to correct that trouble and before I knew it, that fan was replaced (SO much quieter now!!!). Vince even had me check the noise and vibration levels in an upstairs bathroom to ensure additional insulation was not warranted to dampen the sound (it was not needed, but I greatly appreciated Vince thinking of it, as I had not). Vince then cleaned the area and moved to the 2nd fan in the basement. That fan swap was much quicker, as Vince applied what he had learned from the first fan and before I knew it, he was ready for me to test the fans. Again - I cannot say enough nice things about Vince and the work he performed for me today. I will definitely be using Fixxit and Vince again in the near future and highly recommend him to others looking for an experienced, professional handyman to help with the projects you cannot do, or don't have the time to take care of. read more

It's been a while since I've written a review, but I was so impressed by these guys, I had to get on here and write a little something up! Vince and Danny just finished building my beautiful fireplace, which was made from recycled wine barrels. It came out so great! Vince was here this morning to fish a wire through a wall and add another electrical GFCI outlet in our bathroom by the commode. He came in and assessed his options for best approach and then went to work. An hour and a half later he was finished. Vince is very easy and prompt to contact at (720) 580-3499. At first, I was a tiny bit put off by the idea of texting or submitting an online request, versus calling to talk about my initial request. But when his voicemail greeting explained that texting was more efficient and allowed him to focus on a job, I felt much better. Vince got back to me quickly, and on the day of our appointment, he let me know what time he'd be there. He was polite, professional, and easygoing. We now have a fixed drywall patch, a basement door that closes properly, and a beautifully-installed kitchen sink and faucet -- all much more quickly and properly than if we'd attempted it ourselves.He made sure that everything worked as intended before leaving.
