I can't say enough about the amazing Ellis Doctors. I am an avid runner and have had foot issues for most of my life. I recently received an injury while running and found fixing feet online. Needless to say the experience has changed my life. I have never had less foot discomfort in my entire life, they were able to not only help me with my day-to-day walking, but also accommodated me with a insert for running as well. The first appointment I had was with Viedra Elison, 2 July 24 for chronic, sharp pain in my R heel (ongoing for well over a year). I've had bone spurs and other orthopedic problems since the military, decades ago. She identified the problem so quickly (immediately) that I wondered if this was for real. Viedra taped my foot and gave us a guide for foot excercises to do until our follow up 3 weeks later to see if it improved. It absolutely did. When we returned on 26 July 24, she prescribed/provided special inserts which worked very well. It truly was as if the pain never existed. Remembering how quickly Viedra identified & resolved the problem, it was obvious...this IS how good they are. We'll be returning tomorrow, 27 Jan 25 for a recheck (and for another unrelated issue with my L foot). We, both my wife and I, are absolutely confident that all will go well. I made an appointment months ago based on yelp reviews. I had received a different recommendation from a friend, but I wasn't interested in driving to Phoenix. My visit was worth the wait. Apparently my ailment is less exciting than most, but painful anyway. As a new patient, Dr. Elison was very thorough reviewing previous medical issues, treatments and medications. During the examination, he explained why he was checking and what he expected to find. After the physical examination, he used an ultrasound to gather more information prior to taking a number of X-rays. Upon concluding the examination, he offered a treatment plan that almost immediately provided relief. Since I was looking for a non-evasive cure, I could not be more pleased. Today I'm wound free and my feet haven't been in such good shape since my 30s (I'm in my 60s). Wow. With over 30 years in the Army I have not found a better podiatrist. Their website is accurate, they will likely run a little late on getting to you, but they don't rush your exam/treatment. These doctors educate you on your situation and involve you in developing your treatment plan. No "5 minute miracles" then on to the next copay. I'm very glad I found them! read more

I waited a month to see Dr. Peyman Elison. He was thorough in his exam and he was to let me know that same evening if I needed surgery. I messaged him as I was told with no reply. Understandable, I suppose. I asked about the result the next day since I needed to decide if I would leave my current job and my insuance could change. No response. I called a week later and talked to office staff who said they would remind him. Nothing. I called in another week and was told I would be placed at the top of his pile. Nada. It has now been 3.5 weeks and I have heard nothing. I have wasted two months waiting and now I am going to have to find another podiatrist. I am extremely disappointed with this office. read more

I made an appointment a month before . When I arrived 10 mins early the lady at the front desk told me I was late . She then told me I needed to be there 30 mins early to fill out paper work and that she needed to ask the medical assistant of there is still time to see me . She then repeatedly said she left me a voice message and I should check my voice messages ! Then she told me my insurance only covered 250 a day to see the doctor and would require me to pay 360 more right now. She was so rude and embarrassed me with the way she spoke to me quit loudly . I have no idea if the doctor is any good or not because after that I just left. There's no reason to be rude to people. My feet still hurt but surly I can find a doctors office that's more professional then this good grief ! read more

Went for an ankle injury. The pain was dull and it was swollen. There were no X-rays taken but a Brace and therapy was given and a diagnosis of sprain ankle. After 5 weeks of therapy no improvement, I decided to see seek another foot doctor in Glendale and found out after an X-ray I had flat feet and doctor wanted MRI so that revealed a torn ligament. Now in an air boot that will keep me immobile for a while or it's surgery! I am grateful to have a good foot doctor in Glendale! Upon checkin for an initial appointment I was treated very rudely by Marie at the front desk. She made the appointment over the phone over a month prior and I had a special situation which she did not notate and said she didnt remember anything about the conversation. When I initially called she placed me on hold twice to confirm the situation with the office manager and that they would still see my son. She denied anything we discussed when making the appointment. I was extremely embarrassed by her actions. I was told I had a fractured foot, then after being in a cast for four weeks. I was told I needed custom inserts in my shoes. I explained I did not want to pay for inserts if they were not covered under my insurance. I was told they were and would only have to pay my deductible. After questioning why I was signing a paper acknowledging that they are not sometime covered under insurance even though I was told they would be they said all patients have to sign one and not worry they already had approval from my insurance and even wrote I owed a 20% deductible on the form. Now a YEAR later they are coming after me for over $350 for inserts. I told them I didn't want inserts unless they were covered by my insurance because I could not afford $500 to $600 for inserts. This place is a SCAM do not waste your time or money because you could get a bill in the mail a year later. read more

I have never had such great care! I had foot surgery in Dec. and still in recovery, doing quite well. Dr. Peyman Elison is such a nice man and truly cares about his patients and their well being. The last time I was in to have a check up, one of his nurses came out to tell me he was running late. I told her it was not a issue, and that I loved that about him that he takes the time with his patients. I so appreciate the level of care that he gives, I would wait as long as it took. My son is five years old and has been a patient of Dr. Peyman Elison's for about a year and a half. He was diagnosed with talotarsal dislocation in both ankles (an ankle joint deformity). We met with Dr. Elison and after an examination and x-rays, he gave us all of our options, including surgical repair. Not only did he make my son feel welcomed and relaxed but he also addressed all of our questions and concerns and gave us options to help us make this decision. I severely injured my ankle and was referred to the Core Institute by Urgent Care. It took forever to get an appt and the Dr assigned just did a 2 minute flyby in the exam room. I was so upset they didnt seem to care about about the loss of feeling in my shin and toes. I was referred to Dr Peyman Elison by another Foot Doctor. He properly diagnosed my problem and told me how we would work to get me back on my foot. I can't tell you how much I appreciate everything he did. I would recommend him and his staff to everyone. I can not review on the doctors because I did not even get that far. I had a appointment for a lump and pain on the bottom of my foot that I have already seen my pcp about and he said I needed to go to a podiatrist and unfortunately Mayo Clinic does not have one. So I found them based on reviews. My appointment was for the 28 but I went on a waiting list for cancelations . I was called the next day by Shannon for a appointment on the 14th , I called back right away and took that appointment. I had to rearrange my schedule my husband had to take a day off to help me with watching my grandbaby and when I got there they told me that I did not have a appointment until the 28th , the girl at the desk said they did not have any cancelations for that day and and then the other girl at the other desk said that they do not give dates and time on voice messages , I told her I called them back and talked to someone .(on my voice mail it she does give a date and time.)I was upset and left went to my car found my paper I wrote all the appointment info on, And I still had the call info on my phone ,went back in and the girls were laughing . I liked that he gave some strategies to help my daughter with her feet issues...such as stretching and increasing her core muscles. I went to this place twice and the level of treatment I received was substandard. When I went for my second visit I waited 40min to be seen; the Dr touched my foot and said "keep doing what you're doing and come back in 3 weeks but it's getting better". It wasn't better and the brace they gave me on my first visit hurt the outside of my ankle. Then I received a bill for a "missed appointment" because apparently someone didn't cancelled it as requested when I called them. I was told it would be OK and she apologized for the bill and told me to disregard it. Two more times I got past due notices and I had the same conversation. I just got the third one and I am giving them my card number so they can take the $25 and get off my ass. But I wrote them a nice little note on the invoice. My time and credit are worth more than the $25 but I will blast this review on every social media outlet. Find someone else, this place is not worth your time. read more

I took my 78 year old brother-in-law for an appointment this morning. He has been in the hospital almost continuously since early December with back issues. As a new patient, he had paperwork to complete and was told to arrive 30 minutes early. We arrived at 10:30 for an 11:00 appointment. He sat in the waiting room - in pain - until 11:30, when he was moved to an exam room. We finally left at 12:15. One hour and forty-five minutes to get his feet checked and his nails trimmed. The only podiatrist office I would consider going to...both Dr. Elison's have taken great care of my whole family...surgeries...follow up visits...etc...we are always made to feel like family by the doctors and staff...their MA John is always attentive and friendly and have had nothing but a great experience from the front office staff as well. If I could give negative stars I would. They told my husband he did not have a torn Achilles, we were referred to him because he has a torn Achilles. The doctor told him to put a sock on and come back every 2 weeks to have it looked at. He said that it was the best looking Achilles he has ever seen and then suggested we do stem cell therapy(not sure why if it wasn't torn?). He is a scam artist, has you so things not approved by insurance, without checking with the insurance first to see if it's covered, he has you come back an unnecessary amount of times and doesn't even remember why he had you come back! Dr Viedra Elison has been treating me for multiple foot issues. I cannot express enough how pleased I am with her level of care and professionalism dealing with my issues. She has kept me informed at all times and made me feel like I was very welcome in her office. My waits have never been long, not more than 10-15 minutes with most being near the scheduled time. The Fixing Feet Institute is nothing short of excellent!I have been going to Fixing Feet for almost two years now. I have never met a more caring and thorough staff. They are really amazing. Everywhere I go, from my primary, physical therapy, or even a grocery store, I run into people who have nothing but amazing things to say about the practice, Fixing Feet and staff. When you go there, you are not just a number, you are a patient. They listen to you, explain things in common language, and most importantly they help you. Sometimes this doesn't take 5 minutes, and you have to wait, but it's definately worth the wait, when its your turn. I hope the prior reviewer gave them another shot, because I would rank these doctors in the top 3 doctors that I have ever been to. read more
