They used the wrong screw to fix my screen therefore piercing its logic board. Although he could fix the phone, the repair wouldn't make sense vs the cost of a new phone. Luckily my husband brought my phone to Abington phone repair! Mike was great and so helpful! Ordered the parts I needed and had them there the next day and quoted $80 cheaper than other places to fix it! When my phone was unable to be repaired properly he ordered me a new phone! I am truly grateful that there are still honest people in this world and would highly recommend this place for quality service and a great customer experience :)

I had him call the owner and then the owner gave me a third quote for $200. Whatever just replace the screen. They replaced the screen and now I'm having trouble with the sensor at the top so when I use WhatsApp and try to play a voice clip the phone screen turns black like I'm covering the sensor even though the phone is a few feet away from me. Sometimes I can't take phone calls unless I hit the power button to close the phone and hit the power button again to show the screen. I have a lot of issues with the touch screen not responding. The top of the phone where the screen meets the housing flexes in and out so my best guess is that they didn't glue the top properly. I called the owner asking for a refund and my old screen back but he refused the refund and offered to replace the screen. He told me that this is a third party screen which I can confirm because I saw the Chinese letters on the box. He said that the functionality might be different because it's not an OEM screen. Could have paid $100 more and went to uBreakiFix and had a perfectly brand new screen. Which is what I wish I would have done in the first place. My suggestion to anyone coming here is to avoid this place!! The phone call with the owner ended up in a yelling match with him trying to talk over me and me trying to talk over him with me hanging up at the end. This place did offer to replace the first screen that they messed up. They can't get it right the first time why do they think that I would allow them to touch my phone a second time. Plus they wouldn't offer a refund which is what I wanted. They replaced my old screen and now this one has tons of issues and the screen isn't glued at the top and it's pulled away which is visibly noticeable. I'm just going to take the $200 loss and then when this screen goes I'll go to ubreakifixit

I dropped my phone off at "Pone Repair Philly" in University City on Thursday, April 10th, after prepaying for the repair. I was told it would be ready that same night and that I could pick it up the next morning on April 11th. When I arrived on the 11th to retrieve it, I was met with an older man who insinuated that I wasn't told to pick up the phone the next day. Instead of helping, he was dismissive and condescending. I called again on the 12th, and a younger worker told me to come pick up my phone and take it to their Northern Liberties location to get it fixed. I reminded him that I prepaid, and they should be the ones to complete the repair -- not send me on a wild goose chase. Then came the excuse that they were "waiting on a part" and that it was delayed for days. My phone wasn't ready until Wednesday, April 16th -- almost a week later. And to make matters worse, I realized my SIM card was missing from the phone that night. After calling multiple times, I finally spoke to a rude, tall, obese man who snapped at me on the phone and told me to come in the next day to get my SIM card. When I arrived on April 17th, he quickly shoved the SIM card into my phone, accused me of being rude, and told me to never return to the store -- all while I remained calm but understandably upset. He then kicked me out of the store. Let me be clear: I am the paying customer. I don't have to be professional -- they do. And the fact that they couldn't even handle a basic repair without lying, gaslighting, being disrespectful, and losing parts of my phone is unacceptable. Avoid this business at all costs. Don't go to the University City location. Don't go to the Northern Liberties location. Don't go to any Philly Phone Repair store. I wouldn't trust them with a phone charger, let alone a phone.
