I was frantically trying to find a way to repair or replace the machine before starting a new job (for which I needed clean clothes) on Monday. Several repairmen told me they'd charge $100+ just to come out and determine if they could fix the old machine, with the repair costing up to $200. I then looked into buying a new or used washing machine instead, but the earliest delivery date was 1 week out. So, at 8:00 p.m. on Thursday, I messaged Fix-It-Now on Yelp and asked for a quote. They got back to me within 30 minutes, offered to come out for only $59 (the lowest quote I'd received by far), and were able to fit me in for the 9-11 timeslot the following (Friday) morning. They arrived on time (wearing a mask), were super friendly, diagnosed the problem, and stopped to make sure I was okay with the total cost of the repair before proceeding.
